Iron Hill - Rehoboth Beach
Unique place, huge bar, numerous seating choices. Diverse menu with some old time favs and some items that had our attention. Service was a tad slow but they were busy. Noise level was up there due to all the hard-scape interior. Would go back because they use Open Table.
Our server, Kathy, was fun and great at accommodating our friend with food restrictions. She made the necessary substitutions without making us feel like we were a bother.
Great venue — hope that Mike was having a bad day as we felt like we were a chore to service us — first personality came out when he brought the check.
Food was excellent!!! Staff serving were very professional.
Atmosphere was great, staff were absolutely wonderful and the food was good.
Also great service and food! Would highly recommend!
food and service were excellent. The restaurant has a pleasing lay out butttt it is so noisy due to the caverness construction so that to carry on a conversation one almost has to shout which does not make it as enjoyable as it could be. All new restaurants seem to be of this type which is sad if you are a table of more than two.
My guest and I both ordered the Burger of the Day due to the May Burgers promotion. The burgers were tasty but seemed a bit small for the $14.50 cost. The potato chips were thick and tasty, and the side salad was fresh and dressed appropriately. We waited a few minutes for our server to arrive, but she was on top of everything after we placed our orders. The restaurant is loud, probably due to the very high ceilings. Overall, we enjoyed the meals but felt they were not a good value for the money. Try the seafood pot pie when you go, if it is offered. I had it on my first visit and it was chock full of seafood and most delicious!!
Seafood bisque needs a little something else. Burger and drewben was good (Burger not to temp but fresh and flavorful) love the Kennett Square Mushrooms!
Seafood risotto and seafood pot pie were both excellent and neither is on regular menu. We go to Iron Hill often and our experience has always been great
Seafood bisque and seafood pot pie were excellent. Moroccan salmon was great. No room for dessert.
Went on Mother’s Day food was great and the service was good. We were just seated at the worst table it was right by the servers station. We eat there a lot because of their gluten free options.
Iron Hill is both family friendly and perfect for a meal with your significant other. The food comes out quickly and is prepared to order if you have a special request. The wait staff is always accommodating and polite.
Iron Hill is a typical big chain brewery that claims fresh made foods to order. While the burgers and beers are pretty good the calamari appetizer seemed reheated and gummy and small, and the seafood pot pie really missed the mark. The crust was a lame disc of dough and the sauce was like soup. The high point was our service person although the food time was longer then expected.
We have been coming to iron Hill restaurant since it opened in Rehoboth Beach. We enjoyed sitting at the tables, sitting at the bar, and sitting outside. We’ve always had great food and great service.
They accept reservations and you can add a preference. When you get there, they say they do not honor preferences. They should take that out of the requests. Also, now that the summer months are here, they stated that they will no longer be taking reservations. I guess with all the vacationers, they donot need the locals anymore. Not until the end of the summer!
Their hamburgers are very good.
I chose the steak tacos from their list of specials only to be informed they had just run out...our reservation was for 6:30pm. The establishment is nice, but overpriced especially when our server spilled our beer, didn't bring anything to clean the table, and didn't check to see if we needed anything after our food was served. We weren't impressed.
Don’t bother. You can make a reservation but you won’t find a parking spot!!! So disappointed.
The food is freshly prepared and served hot. Bread is so yummy. Our server was friendly. We like this place and eat here whenever we are in Rehoboth.
Adam was our waiter, and was awesome.
Brought a pet to patio/had an outstanding waiter/nice experience
The Jagersnitzel with homemade spatzles is friggin fantastic & the Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls to die for. The waiter Daniela took care of us & made us feel special. She made suggestions & they were all great!
Limp fries, overdone burger, loud crowd.
Good beer and a fun place to eat. A lot of great options for gluten free eating.
Always a pleasurable experience at iron hill.
Great place to sit, relax, talk, watch a game, visit with friends.
They have a fantastic selection of beers to choose from and there is certainly enough food choices on the menu to please everyone’s taste.
Very nice place. The hostess was a younger lady that seemed stuck up, but the waitress was fine and food was great.
Great food. Love they take reservations. They have a wonderful gluten free menu.
Joined the rewards club we enjoyed it so much. Beer very good. Value excellent
thumbs up from our son and grandsons! loved the food and the ambiance! we're so glad they liked one of our most favorite places to eat!
We enjoyed the Prime Rib dinner special Sunday night with friends, good food, good service, good prices!
Overall, Iron Hill is a fine casual dining experience. The burgers and fries were excellent - cooked perfectly and delicious. The sauce on the Tuna Poke was too sweet and "goopy". Definitely would not get that again. We had the creme brûlée for dessert which was also very good. Great beer choices. I had a cocktail and it was just ok. Wouldn't order it again. I'm not a fan of the atmosphere - too "warehouse-y" and loud, but that's just my preference. They aren't pretending to provide a small intimate dining experience. For simple, easy and casual, I'd go back again.
Iron Hill is a nice casual brewery restaurant venue. Beer choices are excellent and plenty of menu choices to please all types of appetites. indoor and outdoor seating is available and usually not any wait time for a table. Good to make a reservation during prime times like weekend nights. Their loyalty program ( King of the Hill ) is worth the $15 lifetime membership which gives you a mug of beer instead of the smaller glass at the same price. Also loyalty points accumulate for future discounts and emails are regularly sent to keep you informed of new beer releases and planned events.
The food was great only problem, the restaurant was a little dark
We really enjoyed our visit to Iron Hill Brewery. Excellent food and service. I would definitely go again and recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.
Our server was very knowledgeable and very attentive. Lots of choices....specials were excellent.
Met friends as we often do at IH. Not busy and everything was off. Waited for lg booth to be cleaned( not short staffed) and server was pleasant. Entrees and apps never served to group at same time. Best was one entree never appeared. Also not happy when one Caesar with salmon appeared in a small bowl not like the other Caesar with salmon arrived plated as usual.
Entire dining was OFF.
My husband and I both ordered chicken ceasar salad. The dressing was tasteless, the croutons were extremely hard, and the romaine was gritty.
Excellent beer and very tasty food. As all new restaurants seem to be it was quite noisy for seniors to be able to talk normally.
All of our food did not come out at the same time.
The service was great! The food was good, but we definitely felt it was pricey for what it was. Would we go back? Possibly, but it certainly wouldn't be our first choice for the beach area due to the price of the food.
