Bar room very noisy but ok. Ordered a hamburger medium rare but came out as shoe leather. My husbands salmon burger and gumbo soup good.. Had burgers there before but not like this.
good food server was great was also nice getting a free sample of a new a beer
Food was really good. My wife an I had a great time. Will definitely be back soon!
Great food for the price point. Waited too long for server. Also paper straws booooooo
We love Iron Hill but I miss some of my favorites that always get taken off the menu! Please bring back the chicken salad sandwich, ahi tuna salad, and salmon spring rolls!!!
This is our go to spot if we want to go out and not go to the City.
Everything we ordered was delish. Appetizers: Fried calamari was tender not rubber tires and the philly cheese steak egg rolls were perfect, even the chopped salad was on point (I mean it is just a salad, but it was good). Drinks were made well. Ironically I am not a beer drinker so I didn't taste the beer at the brewery. My husbands steak was very good. The only issue was the service was a bit slow. Not to the point of frustration, necessarily but slow enough for us to take note. Our server was so sweet and friendly, which did help soften the slowfulness. Other than that it was a great dinner date and one that might become a favorite!
My wife and I had our Valentines diner there. Price fix 3 course meal, appetizers, diner and desert. The food was excellent. The service was very good and friendly and the beer brewed on site was very good. A great place to go for Valentines day.
Always a great experience! Food is excellent, staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
Always love the burgers and beer. Can't go wrong! We even tried a couple of samples of beer. Blueberry yum yum was a treat. Join the King of the Hill Club and get rewards.
Love this place!! My beef tenderloin was supposed to be medium rare but it was overdone HOWEVER I LOVE THIS PLACE and the fact that my beef was overdone was a just an error on the chef’s end. #LoveIronHillBrewery
The service was great however the food wasn't, not for the money.
Service was lousy! We were served half raw chicken wings. The order was supposed to be replaced. 20 minutes later we were still waiting for them. We asked for marinara sausage for the calamari. It took the waitress 20 minutes to get it. Entrees were smaller than expected as we have eaten there before and food seems to have downsized. Waitress gave us a dessert menu. 15 minutes later we had to go find her to order. We saw her standing in the back talking. There were only two other tables on our side of the restaurant. It took us 2 hours to complete our meal. It was NOT busy. We finally complained to the manager who did apologize and gave us free desserts, appetizers and a round of drinks. The waitress at this point totally disappeared.
Beer was good! But will never go back again’
Food was delicious and our waiter Sean was wonderful!
We had a great time celebrating my husbands birthday! The food was great!
Our waiter for the night was on point the entire time. He knew that we were first timers so he suggested lots of options for the beers to try based on our preferences. He gave us samples until we found the ones we enjoyed the most! The food was great! I will definitely be back in the future! I don’t recall his name but his nails were done so nice! I appreciated his time!
I love this place. Go to versatile location for date night, out with friends, or even bring the kids. Great food, great drinks, great value!
It was my first time and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The waitress was very nice and attentive. Will definitely go back.
Good food, good beer, good service = good meal. Really like the schnitzel .
The service and beer selection were good and worthy of a return visit. The food was barely average. We ordered a burger that was overcooked, dry and bland. We also ordered a stead that was also overcooked and bland. For the price, the food should be much better. This was not our first visit. Food consistency average.
I ordered a meal that had French fries as a side. When they came out, they were cold. There were only three tables filled. When I asked for more hot fries, a server came back in about 30 seconds with lukewarm at best fries. I couldn't eat them either. My server was actually the best thing about the experience. She wasn't the person who brought me the 2nd order and she fixed my issue by comping my meal and offering free dessert. The manager did come over to apologize, which I appreciated. But she did mention it was luck to get a hot order of fries. ???
I reserved a table and in the reservation it asked why and I chose birthday. But no one at the restaurant seemed to know it, and never said anything.
I have been there a bunch of time and I chose this for my birthday. I was kind of disappointed. My wife used to like a few dishes that are no longer offered and with this experience, I think I would choose somewhere else next year. I wish it was a better place.
Went to Iron Hill after a busy day. Took my two grandchildren, 23 and 18. We had the cheesesteak egg rolls, soft pretzels and Margherita flatbread pizza for appetizers. The egg rolls and the pizza were very good. The pretzels were just ok. Grandaughter had stripe steak and she said it was very good and cooked just right. The grandson had the Pub Burger and enjoyed it. I had the Pot Pie and it was really good. The top piece was ok, but hard to break through. Once inside the filling was very good. We all said that we would order these meals again.
Everyone liked their food
Food is good bar food. The hostess stand organization needs help. Had a 7:30 reservation. Told they would text when a table was available. After waiting 30 minutes, I went to the bar to get two drinks. Checked back with the hostes stand to ask how much longer and it was very apparent that they total forgot our reservation. We were finally seated at 8:25. Not accecptable for a confirmed reservation through open table!
Went for my son’s birthday dinner, it was very crowded but our reservation was ready only a few minutes late. Server was excellent and we didn’t have to wait for anything. Food was cooked as ordered with no issues at all and was excellent
Good, noisy, vibrant place.-----------------------
It was my first time at Iron Hill. I did not realize how popular of a restaurant it was. Food was really good. Service was a little slow. Seemed like not enough staff.
Overall, it was a good experience.
The only reason we went back to Ironhill was because friends we hadn't seen in a long time wanted to go there. The table at which we sat was clear of dishes and glasses, but probably needed to be cleaned. We were not provided with napkins or coasters for our drinks and had to ask for silverware and cloth napkins. When we asked for them the waiter seems surprised that we didn't have them. I thought that was strange as he was probably the one who should have bused the table to prepare for the next customers. He was adequate. I think the wait staff needs better training.
Service was great and food was excellent.
No change from my past review. Great varied menu and wonderful beer choices. Ask for Jennifer as your server. She’s great.
Grill was broken so they and us made due with simple orders
Let me start out by saying that we love the food at Iron Hill. We’ve never had a bad meal.
The other day we made a reservation for six people as an early dinner for my Mom’s 74th birthday. We were seated as soon as we arrived for our reservation. We sat down and ordered 2 adult ice teas and 2 kid sodas, the other adults only had water. After looking at the menus for a few minutes, someone that worked there, maybe the manager, informed us that their hood system was not working and the only things they could make were off of the appetizer menu. She also told us that people were on the roof and trying to fix the problem, sounding like there could be a resolution soon. We ordered nachos off of the appetizer menu for the table. Our nachos arrived shortly after that and they were delicious. We waited approximately another half hour, but decided to leave since no one was able to tell us when they would be able to serve dinner. We asked our server for the bill and paid it. We then Had to figure out where we were going to eat without a reservation on a Saturday night. After leaving, and thinking about the bill some more, I feel as if the restaurant should have at least comped our drinks for the inconvenience. The bill was $30 after tip, and all we really had was nachos. I also feel like we should’ve been informed prior to sitting down. The issue with the hood seemed to have been going on at before we got there. I wish someone would’ve said something upon entering.
We were seated within minutes of our arrival on a Friday evening. I had a delicious drunk monk burger, dining companions had a brewski burger and chicken pot pie. We shared the double chocolate brownie dessert, which was plenty to share three ways. I like how you can sample any of Iron Hill's beers before purchasing. Good dining experience.
Excellent choice for brew and food. Menu choices are varied enough to provide something for just about everyone. Beer choices are numerous. The service is great. Ask for Jennifer - our favorite. Great bar area with high top seating. Also great to have a networking or group get together.
Everything was wonderful our waiter Branden was fantastic
I haven’t been here in awhile and I won’t be back. The food was terrible , the service was horrible, and it wasn’t cheap.
Unfortunately we had 7 o’clock reservations and they did not seat us until past 730. The food was good as usual and the service was fine but reservations people who walked in we’re seated before us
A much better experience this time! Our server Sam (female) was outstanding! We will go back again.
We came here for dinner on a busy Friday night and they were able to accommodate extra people in our party easily. We were early so we went to the bar which can be kind of a pushy scene but we got service right away thankfully. Our server was so sweet, knowledgeable and helpful with our special requests. The dining room was busy without being crowded and not overly loud. Food came out hot and quickly!
Food was good but the service was not that great. Our food came out and our server never even came back to check on us. I had to flag him down
