Iron Hill Brewery - Media Ratings and Reviews
Our son’s birthday, 4 adults 3 children. This is the second time that we have been placed in that God awful table at the end of the room on the right. I feel like I’m working in the kitchen. Our waitress, Natasha was wonderful. I will never sit there again. I guess I’ll have to make a request not to be seated there
Food is satisfactory American-style, but Iron Hill is LOUD. Secondly, they have a rapid “churn rate,” bringing food fast and trying to get you out the door quickly. Don’t expect a relaxing dinner (go to Le Belle Epoque down the street for a nice, quiet dinner).
I've reviewed other Iron Hill Breweries before. Good place to go if you like bar/restaurant food and atmosphere. The only difference between this and other ones where I've been is parking is tougher. Granted, I say this having gone the Friday night before the Eagles played in the Super Bowl, so YMMV.
We chose Iron Hill Brewery, Media, for a casual dinner with a long-time friend and his wife from Florida. Our dinner was perfect ( spinach wraps and pulled pork) to accompany our overdue conversation. Amy, our server, was the best!! Our Florida guests were pleased with the atmosphere and our overall choice.
I've been to Iron Hill many times over the years - each time is worse than the last. Went for dinner on Sat 1/20 -- The server got my order wrong but I ate what she brought anyway. The plate I got was soggy & cold. The entire table complained that their meals were too salty. Two complained that their burgers weren't cooked to their liking. The server came back to ask if anyone wanted a second round of drinks but skipped several people before leaving the table to go to the bar. Our server was MIA at the end of our meal. The bathroom was filthy.
Recovering from surgery and using a walker to get around made easier by Iron Hill staff. Had dinner Friday night . The filet migon special with mushrooms yukon potatoes and spinach in a demi glace sauce was excellent. The filet was cooked a perfect medium rare. My sister and I had a delicious meal and the service from our waitress Tracy was friendly and effcient.
I've always loved Iron Hill and still do, however, I am disappointed that they changed the best Nachos ever. They no longer are the best. Also, they have changed the size of their cheese steak egg rolls. They are much smaller now, but still cost the same. Overall, though, I would recommend them and will continue to go back.
The waitress was very pleasant but did not know basic information about food on the menu. She was unable to describe how the Moroccan salmon was prepared or what came with the the special. When my ribs arrived they were barely warm and the cole slaw was warm instead of cold. The French fries were not fresh from the fryer. She didn't charge us for a dessert to help make the visit better. She really was kind but needed to be more knowledgeable about the menu.
The wait staff was great very attentive to our needs. Food was fabulous. It was a crowded evening and we were seated in the back it would have been nicer, since we had a reservation, to be move in the center or side of the restaurant.
Of note it snowed that day and sidewalks to restaurant were not salted and parking not plowed.
