Ryan was a super waiter for our group of 8 friends. Everyone enjoyed their entree - each one something different - that were served all at once! We'll miss gathering at Iron Hill until the virus issues are over.
Gluten free options were great! Would definitely recommend!
Good food parking my just happened to go smoothly and server was pleasant friendly and checked on us often. Has never been to this location. Would def return for future dinners. Staff was pleasant. Bathrooms were clean. Prices reasonable and competitive. Only thing that did or meet my expectation level was that It was our birthdays so it would have been nice to have a nice dessert or surprise since the occasion was noted on the reservations.
Iron Hill Media is a local favorite of ours. First are the servers...hands down they know their stuff from food to brews. We enjoy the seasonal and special occasion menu offerings and appreciate the pairings with their brews. Through Open Table I am always able to get a seat and normally in an area that I request due to my hearing impairment. Iron Hill Media will always be my local go-to!
I met a girlfriend here for lunch. While the restaurant was rather empty, the music was super loud. We asked the waitress if it was possible to turn it down and she said nobody knew how. She seemed to say that it was louder than usual, but that there didn’t seem to be a way to adjust the volume. As for the food, I ordered the Brewben, which I found to be rather dry and lacking enough sauerkraut. I did enjoy the housemade chips and the Lodestone lager.
The quality and value has gone down. The prices have increased for food and beer. Three in our party of six ordered burgers and the dishes arrived at the table with the buns cold. Not room temp, but actually cold. I think they must have come straight out of the fridge. One of the three burgers didn't come with a pickle (not the first time - same with our last visit at the beginning of the year). It's a shame because we've liked Iron Hill for the past 14 years we've been living in the area, but they're consistently inconsistent these days
The beer was good. The food was mediocre and the service sucked. We asked for water three times.
Solid overall. Good vide. Fun and lively. Recommend
Never disappoints! Great spot with or without kids
The staff were very accommodating and super nice. Food, decent portions and delicious.
I was impressed with the ability to work with me when my party was late. So appreciate them being accommodating and that’s why I always come back. Thank you!!
Went there before a theater show had great service. Beers selection was excellent. Food was good. Everyone had something different and all enjoyed their choices. They were very accommodating when I asked to switch from a booth to a table due to my sisters having difficulty getting up and down in their low booths. Next time I will remember to asks when I make my reservation. Will definitely go back!
Reservation was for 7:00. Arrived at 6:45 and wasn’t seated until 7:15. Ordered a beer and five minutes later was told they had to change the tap. Five minutes after that was told that the keg was kicked. Ordered another beer and five minutes later was told they needed to change the keg. Five minutes later I got my beer. I thought that I may have been comped the beer but no dice. Generally these guys do a good job but it was busy and they let it show this time.
Wish they would update their menu and put better salad options.
Had chicken sliders which were tough and basically only filled my hunger void. Fries were cold. Very disappointing.
Never had anything bad there. Always friendly, good service, great beer, good value, and good food. A favorite of ours since opening.
Food was ok., not great.. hubby’s dinner had too much pepper so m anther graciously replaced it, but I think it should have been comped.. it wasn’t.. my ribs had subpar bbq sauce... but service was great and friendly and took care of table of my sons friends very well, too
Wine very pricey.. small glass of pinot noir..$12
Great for a casual Valentine's day. We ordered from the $45 for two Valentine's special dinner. We both had the Ahhi Tuna entree which was delicious. This was a good deal, with one appetizer, two entrees and a shared dessert. The cheesecake was good, but a little small for two. Waitress was attentive and helpful. All in all, very nice.
Usually nachos are delicious, not tonight. Cheese was rubbery and waxy. My husband crab cakes were delicious. I ordered salad. It listed pistachio, and I think there was only one on there. Dressing was delicious. Our server was Sara. She was very good. We will return, I’m hoping it was just because it was Valentine’s Day and crowded.
The stuffed mushrooms were very good, cooked just right. The dish could have been improved with a drizzled sauce over it.
The main courses (beef and tuna) were very good, cooked rare as requested.
The chocolate desert was delicious. Only criticism was the graham pie crust was pretty hard.
The Valentine's Day Special Menu was very good. We had the crab stuffed mushroom appetizer, beef medallions entree, tuna entrée and porter chocolate cheesecake for $45.
I was there with a friend before a show at the Media Theater, and we enjoyed sharing the Valentines special. Our flatbread appetizer, salmon entrees and cheesecake dessert were all very good. Good value at $45 for the two of us. The special runs through the weekend.
Fun to have Valentine’s Day price fix menu a day early.
Service is sooo slow. Sat for an hour before getting our entrees. Gave ourselves plenty of time because we had show tickets at Media theater. We would have been late otherwise. Food tasted like it was prepared and sitting too long under the warming lights. Not a good experience.
Perfect place for our business meeting and there were two among us that are vegans. The Head Chef took care to make sure all were taken care of!
Had to wait past our reservation time, about 10 minutes, but the food is very good, great beer selection, and our server Jack was great! Media has a good selection of restaurants but Iron Hill is a reliable staple.
Beautiful Location , Food was made to Perfection , Wait staff was very accommodating and pleasant , Winter White Cosmopolitan was Delicious .. Perfect Night Celebrating My Boyfriend's 46th Birthday ..
We had our children and grandchildren with us. We all enjoyed our meals. The waitress was very helpful in picking out foods that were good for our diets. We will be back
Overall very nice. Good beer selection, attentive server, decent food. Very nice atmosphere inside.
Just OK. Food was just OK and not all that flavorful. We were a party of 6 adults and all were underwhelmed with the quality of the food. One dish, the teriyaki chicken was overcooked and lukewarm It was sent back. The manager did come by to apologize and offered to get someone a beer and then never returned! The craft beers were good. I think it's a good place for drinks. apps and maybe a burger.
I will definitely come back again. Food was great. Service was good. Ambiance was wonderful.
Great spot, great beers, and good food for business meeting!
The service was OUTSTANDING
Food was ok but overpriced. Our server would disappear for 30 minutes at a time and we wondered if she had quit or been fired. Environment was loud . Overall, a so-so experience. I don't feel the need for a return visit.
This is like the Holiday Inn of restaurants - no surprises, and that is a good thing. I did not have a beer, though I feel confidant that it too is satisfactory
It was awesome!! Great food!! Love the hummus and calamari!! Yum!!
Another great meal at Iron Hill!1
We were seated right at our reservation time. The server was awesome and the food and beer were equally great!
Food was good, beer was good. We arrived 30 minutes early for our reservation and Host was SUPER accommodating and got us in with about a 10 minute wait--which was amazing! Service was pretty awful--BUT she was really sweet and one thing I liked--she didn't blame anyone else for the issues...9 out of 10 servers blame the kitchen, the bar, etc...Goes for her character--she knew she messed up and was 100% honest and even made a joke at her own expense later in the meal.
I ordered a flight and she brought me the correct beers, but barely 1oz in each glass--manager assured me it wouldn't be on the bill. She forgot my husband's beer--rather it came out 5 minutes after mine arrived when she remembered. Appetizers came out after our entrees arrived and at that point we sent them back since we had already started our entrees. Towards the end of the meal...she weirdly fed my daughter at one point....it was all really just all weird and just an okay night out--we always have a "date" night with our daughter once a week and would go back since we know and like Iron Hills in general...but there are so many good restaurants on the main strip in Media, we will probably just try one of those next time and skip Iron Hill.
