Iron Hill Brewery - Maple Shade
The hostess forgot about us so we waited well over 30 minutes for a table. The finally seated us when we pushed the issue. We will never go back. They made up a story that a couple that walked in 20 minutes after us, requested a specific server. We found out that wasn’t true.
For the most part the meal was fine but the service was incredibly slow. The pretzel appetizer was overcooked almost to the point of burnt.
Food was very good and served hot. Service was excellent.
Always a good menu and good service. Not a big fan of their beer though
We eat here regularly, about once a month. It is always good. Good food, good service, good value. I had the southwest grilled chicken salad this time. Fresh and tasty. My wife had a burger and said it was well prepared.
We love Iron Hill and will continue to visit regularly.
Great beer selection...service was fantastic!
it was a busy weekend due to Valentines day...so the wait to be seated was longer
than normal but we were kept informed by the team .
Great service! The food was outstanding! I did not realize that one of the dishes had an allergen for me and the waitress went above and beyond to fix the issue.
The wait time with a reservation is 20 minutes tops. If you go as a walk-in, expect to wait for one hour or more. This place is that popular.
Overbooked reservations on a Saturday night, had to wait approx. 30-minutes to get seated. Once seated the service and food quality was very good.
We had reservations for 6:00. We had to wait a little while because it was very crowded. Probably due to it being the day after Valentine's Day.
Our server, Sawyer, arrived at our table promptly with our water. She welcomed us warmly, and came back a short time later to take our orders. Our meals were very good. Sawyer made it a good dining experience because she was very pleasant and attentive to us.
We went to iron Hill for their Saint Valentine’s Day special dinner. The staff was wonderful. The food was just OK. We ordered the mushroom and crab appetizer which was very disappointing. The mushrooms were small, not at all like the photo and the menu. The stuffing was so so. They almost seem pre-packaged.
The two fish entrées were fine, Although my tuna was not cooked well as I asked. Fortunately, I like sushi.
There were two options for dessert. We were told they were out of one and that we would have to take the chocolate cake, which was fine. When the server returned a few minutes later, he brought a strawberry cake. He explained that they also ran out of the chocolate cake and so they made up the strawberry cheesecake. Unfortunately, it did not have time to set.
Had a lovely Valentine’s Day dinner with my girlfriend, food was great, the beer was great, joined the King of the Hill and got the membership fee back in one visit. That program gets you a $20 credit for every $100 you spend, and bigger mugs of bee for no upcharge. Service was great too, will definitely be back soon, ask for John as your server.
Everything was fantastic!
The food was outstanding and we enjoyed the beer brewed onsite that was recommended to us by our server, Sean, who was terrific, by the way. Strongly recommend this place!
Iron Hill is one of our "go to" restaurants. The food is delicious, the house brewed beers are some of our favorites and everyone is very pleasant.
I really enjoyed my time spent with my party at Iron Hill brewery. I would definitely be making reservations again soon, the staff is wonderful there...always helpful and courteous.
We reserved a table in advance and were sat just as our reservations time came around. The food and drinks were great and the service was incredible. Our server was very knowledgeable on the menu and answered all of our questions perfectly. Best of all it was a family atmosphere it was perfect to bring our two young daughters and not feel as if we were out of place.
As always and amazing dinner. Great service. We were helped by a young woman to get our app up and working. Look forward to another great dinner soon.
The food was great and everything came out perfectly cooked to order thanks to our server Chris. The burger came out rare and juicy; and the fries were well done. I love the lobster flatbread - so please keep that one on your regular menu; and your beers are always first rate. Also, kudos to your manager, Victoria, who was very polite and helpful regarding an issue with our KOTH membership points. We had a very enjoyable evening and will definitely return
Overall, our group had a great time. This wasn't our first time at Iron Hill so we knew what to expect as far as food, service, and environment. The only odd thing I'll comment on is our server was reallllllllllly pushy about up selling. I ordered a 16oz beer and they replied, "no, you're going to get the 20oz and I'll tell you why..." They wanted to sell us their reward program card ($15 to sign up) which is fine no big deal we'll take it. I served tables nearby for years then got into sales so I get it but it's so annoying when all the server does is push the most expensive items which they tried to do each time we ordered something (nacho and egg roll app, chocolate cake dessert, etc.). Overall, it was a good time but expect to be bombarded with up selling :)
We usually have a great time at Iron Hill. Service was a bit slow, and the food didn't seem on point. I ordered the Chicken Pot Pie and it was more greasy and the filling didn't seem quite mixed.
Everything was great - the food, the server and the place!
Our food was delicious and we really enjoyed the house made cole slaw. The waitress was attentive, friendly and pleasant. At first I was disappointed the veggie burger wasn't on the menu but the falafel burger was so satisfyingly good!
Good food and service , price could be a little cheaper.
Very busy evening. My wife's steak came with grilled asparagus, but it was steamed and had to be sent back. She also thought she was getting mashed potatoes, not just potatoes. Her steak was good although my son's was a little undercooked for medium. My falafel burger could have used more sauce and should have been cooked a little longer as it was more mushy and less like an actual burger. Our waiter was very helpful and apologetic as it took a while to get our food.
The food and service were terrific!! We definitely be back!!
Food was good. Server was mostly attentive. We had to ask for another set of silverware a couple of times and were missing some parts of our order when the food was served.
It was very cold in restaurant.
We are regulars and dine here about once a month. As always the food was very good. I had the crabcake sandwich. My wife had the chicken lettuce wraps. My daughter ordered the new tofu noodle bowl but found it too spicy and had to send it back. She then got the mesclun salad which she enjoyed.
Our only issue on this particular vist, and our last visit, was our server. We had Gerald both times and sorry to say he just isn't that good. He seems very absent-minded and not on top of things. Both visits with him there were issues with my KOTH rewards card that shouldn't have happened. Last time he also needed to have another server come over to explain something about the drink I ordered. Then he thought he had returned my KOTH card but hadn't. Just overall not the level of service we expect from Iron Hill.
We will absolutely continue to go there. We love this place. We'll just request not to have him as our server on future visits.
Loving the Ale and Onion au graten soup! It’s perfect with the winter warmer with a cinnamon sugar rim!
Great food with great service. Just be prepared to wait even if you sometimes have a reservation because it can be HOPPING in there. The waiting area is very small and if you go on a busy day the bar is packed too. Just know what you’re getting into. Personally I think it’s worth it regardless.
Great pub! Food / service very good. Busy evening; just thankful for the opportunity to book in advance.
Thanks Open Table!
Slow service. I ordered 2 bourbons- neither were available. Salad portion for main dish was very small.
Best service we've had here. Always reliable neighborhood spot. Big portions. High quality.
We are regulars here but I try and sample new menu items from time to time rather than always ordering the same thing. This time I had the lettuce wraps with chicken. They were delicious. Messy, but delicious. The chicken and vegetables were perfectly cooked and well seasoned and the peanut sauce had just a bit of heat but didn't overwhelm everything. And the serving size was plenty for my meal all by itself.
We enjoy the variety of the menu along with the daily specials. Whether we are grabbing a quick lunch or celebrating with our large family, we always find the service to be professional and courteous.
Always a great meal, great service, great beer. Only time to go that we can afford is happy hour and KOTH night
This place always has great customer service and a great ambiance. So glad we made a reservation for New year's Eve dinner. They sat us earlier then our reservation and our server was great. Had a free appetizer of nachos which were very well made and tasty. The drunk monk burger was delicious and cooked perfectly for my taste and my husband ordered the steak. A little undercooked for medium well but he made it through and ate it anyways. A little cold but overall the experience was great and we never have a bad meal.
got the scallop entree, so tiny, only 3 scallops !!!! Should've been listed as an appetizer, not an entree
New Years Eve
