   We had brunch which we all enjoyed. There was plenty of food on our plates for us to leave satisfied. I had FrenchToast sticks which when dipped in the syrup, was sweet and delicious.

   Service was very bad. Took a long time for server to acknowledge us. Never asked us for refills. Was annoyed when special order request came out wrong and had to fix it. Very inattentive.

   We made reservations for Mother’s Day brunch. We choose different restaurants every year for the occasion. This year was Iron Hill and although the food was delicious, the service was very poor. We had reservations for 11:30 and our food did not come out until 12:45. Our server only checked in on us one time during that time. In fact, another server came over and said “I’m popping over for your server, we’re running behind today. So sorry.” She did not ask if we needed anything (our drinks were empty for about 25 mins at this point). We were very close to walking out. The food came out and we really did enjoy it, but aside from the one server saying sorry, there were no other apologies from anyone. We asked for additional bread for our appetizer and that took 20 mins to receive. Another thing to note was that the kids menu did not have any breakfast listed. My 5 year old wanted breakfast and we ended up having to get her chicken and waffles for $20. Good food, but the service was suboptimal.

   Staff was very friendly. Hostesses as always very accomodating. As well as the managment. Our server was nice but was not attentitive at all. Never cleared our table and walked past empty cups several times. Our chicken was served raw (I mean it was cold raw chicken) for the salads and then when it was brought back, it was burnt to a crisp. Our server never took our point off of our card or didn’t ask us how our food was. He was very quick to throw the receipt on our table.

   Menu has been slimmed down quite a bit. So usually just stick to sandwiches. Both of us had the grilled chicken sandwich with fries. Good spot for quick and casual.
