Iron Hill Brewery - Ardmore
Everything was great!
The draw is the atmosphere and the exceptional service of Hicham. We look forward to seeing him when we come in. Food is consistent and bar atmosphere is good. Bussers are very good as well and work very hard. We are regulars to the establishment and intend to continue to come.
Fantastic as usual!!! Service was great, and we had the private dining table which was super. Our party increased from 14-18 and no-one complained. Will be back soon!!
Nice place, good food and I will go back. Service felt a little rushed but then our dinners came out in shifts with about 5 minutes between the first and last entree because my served. We were a party of six but that still shouldn’t happen
Great experience, good food! Interesting and delicious craft beer collection. Service was professional and friendly.
Iron hill brewery has consistently good food.burgers always good, ribs were mediocre. Waiter was outstanding especially considering the crowd and time of night. Great beer selection, he brought us a few to sample which was really nice. We had a great time and look forward to going back!
Consistent & always enjoyed by my grandsons. Service staff always gracious to them.
Very accommodating to our needs. Service was good, not great.
We had a fun time though this venue cleared out early on a Saturday night. There were ten of us and we enjoyed the food except our server wasn’t friendly and she forgot to place an order for one of our friends who then waited while we all received our food and had eaten by the time her order came out- this was after asking about it to another waiter who passed by.
I wish I could remember the name of our server, she was FANTASTIC!
I was glad I had a reservation as it is quite busy on Saturday nights. Our waiter was very attentive and the food was good too.
Celebrating a birthday. Food was ok. Great waiter. Good time.
Great service, amazing food, delicious drinks that they don’t skim you on. Had a wonderful time💯🙌🏾
Very good dinner. Handled good allergy needs very well.
Normally never have a negative experience at this restaurant, however this time was different. I arrived at 8:15 on a Sunday night and I felt like we were an interruption to the staff trying to get out of there. There were only a few tables sat, we noticed two others as we were leaving around 9:30. The food runner delivered the food at the end of the table (we were sitting at a booth) and expected us to pass the hot plates down the table. When we needed drink refills, we had to look for someone to help us. Wasn't horrendous, I definitely had worse, however I may think twice about visiting this restaurant close to closing time again.
We decided to go for an early lunch on a Sunday and it turned out to be a great time to go to this restaurant. The noise level was so good and the food was as yummy as usual.
Good food good ambience.
David, our server was perfect, attentive, but not overly, got orders and checks right.
The place does an incredible business but gets the food out in a timely manner. It is our go-to restaurant. French fries could have been crisper. Salmon special delicious. Usually order Sante fe turkey burger which is always good.
Dining with two smalls kids is always an adventure. Our server was wonderful and got us the kid's food as soon as it was ready and then followed up with the ice cream while we were eating our entrees. We left dinner full and not frazzled!
Great place to dine! We normally have very good service as we dine there frequently, but this past time, we must have had someone new. I gave them the kids order, but after that, they forgot to come back to take my order, and took a while to bring my drink.
We took our grandchildren and everyone had a great time. Our waitress Leigh was the best. We all loved her.
Go there ta least once a month, never had a bad meal. Awesome restaurant!!
During Saints Patricks to the final four Iron Hill has O'Sullivan Stout. It is as close to Guinness in Dublin as you can get in the States. Fresh on nitrogen it is far and away the best beer they offer. Smooth, creamy, with roasted notes it goes down very easy. Good thing its only 3.8% so you should be able to handle a few. If youve only experienced Irish Stout in a can or a bottle you are missing out. Its like Arnold's bread to a fresh loaf. They also offer to mix it with their Irish Red(another great beer) to make an amazing black & tan. My main gripe is its only about a month of the year. It really should be a lot longer (November to May would be great) or permanent. Its that good.
As for the food, their hamburgers are the best around. Gumbo is always a great choice. They offered potato leek soup for Saint Patrick's which again is delicious. If you like spice try their Nashville sliders.
Service is hit or miss. Tim is simply the best. He is the most knowledgeable, and has a passion for the beer they serve. He will often bring tastes of beers he thinks you may like. Their are a few others that really bust their hump as well. But you can get a few that are slow and dont return very often.
All in all March is the time to go. Their Irish red is better than almost all other beers offered with the exception of the German Lager and Black Lager their isnt anything that competes. Except the O'Sullivan Stout which is my wifes, friends, Dads, and my own favorite beer anywhere. Oh and my wife doesn't drink beer normally but she goes twice a week when O'Sullivan is on tap.
The food was good and we had a great server. The kitchen was extremely slow. It was my daughter’s birthday, we had a reservation for 6:45p. My husband and daughter each ordered a burger- I had soup and salad. Our order took over 40 minutes. The server came by several times and let us know the kitchen was slow and offered more bread, kept refilling drinks, etc.,, it was a school nite- I’m sure we’ll have a cranky morning...
Nice Ambiance , great food, quiet time of day, just after 4:30pm. Quick and easy to get too,
however parking might be difficult later in the evening, we were able to park right out front.
We love iron hill!
Waiter wasn't very present, although he was fast with refills! Food was mixed--some we liked, other things we regretted.
We were a party of 12 and sat smack in the middle of the dining room. It was noisy but we we're able the hold conversation with each half of the table. Everyone got food they were happy with. No real standouts but a solid experience for all. Wine and beers were good but the mixed drinks were weak and expensive (for being so weak).
Good value, friendly service, good food and beer, accomodate children well.
Our waiter Cole has an awesome personality. He's a keeper.
I find Iron Hill to be very consistent. I always order the salad wit baked salmon. I was surprised that they no longer serve a bread stick with the salad. I don’t like paying extra for bread.
Had a very nice experience. Our waiter was very attentive. And the food was delicious. I’d go back again and again
Our meal and Server were excellent. It was delivered timely and with professionalism by Jasmine and her team. Jasmine was very knowledgeable about the food menu and assortment of beers. She made wonderful "eye contact" and was attentive to our various requests. We will certainly visit Iron Hill Brewery again.
Seated immediately fast service and nice meal
We were 7, with our open table reservation we sat right down and had excellent service. The food and beer were great too.
No review; wish they had more vegetarian offerings. I'd like to bring my niece & her husband.
We have been regulars in the past year, this is our go to restaurant to dine with kids.
Unfortunately we have observed deterioration in the taste and the quality. Beers are great, but the food has become very mediocre. Even dishes that we liked before are not properly executed.
Food that we ate this time was at a level of a cheap diner. The sweet potato fries were enormous, greasy and soggy. The drunk monk burger used to be amazing, not anymore. The tuna flat bread special was so- so.
It's a shame, because it is such a nice family friendly place, with good ambiance.
Nice and consistent
Our server Cole was amazing!!
Dinner was good but having a considerate, super responsive and thoughtful server made a nice dinner really great.
The food was quite good as per usual (salads and baby back ribs). While our salads came promptly, our main course took a long time. Our wait person did not come to check on how our meals were until we had almost finished.
