El chef Anthony Chittum, nativo de la costa este de Maryland, se ha ganado su reputación no solo por su cocina, sino también por su compromiso con adquirir sus ingredientes de agricultores, marineros y artesanos culinarios locales.     Here's a polished review you can use: --- We had an incredible experience at Iron Gate. The food was absolutely amazing. Every dish was thoughtful, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The staff went out of their way to be accommodating with our 2-year-old, making what could have been a stressful meal feel easy and enjoyable. Our waiter was top notch; attentive, kind, and genuinely made us feel welcome. To top it off, the bar treated us to a complimentary drink for Father’s Day, which was such a thoughtful touch. Loved everything about our visit and we can’t wait to come back.

    We did the sharing menu - a sort of proxy fix but for two or more people where the dishes are served family style. Also popped for the wine pairing the food, atmosphere, service was all just terrific. Probably too much food. Too much wine. But we did our job and ate/drank pretty much everything they put in front of us. It was a fun night, cheery waitstaff and great food. And unlike most restaurants I could hear everyone at the table.

    Three beautiful rooms, the outside patio is especially lovely. We got the full dinner, and everything was delicious. I enjoyed trying all the mezzo… it was a lot of food though! Next time I’ll order ala cart for sure. There were a few off-menu surprise morsels as well. A fantastic experience!!!

    Loved our dinner at Iron Gate - had not dined there in years, and it did not disappoint! Food was delicious, service was great, and the ambiance is special. We will definitely be back!

    Griffin was amazingly attentive, patient and helped us craft a custom dinner for three middle aged finicky eaters! Cocktails and MOCKTAILS were delish!

    The outdoor dining space is lovely and a godsend for people who have high risk in their lives and can’t think of the pandemic in the past tense. And the staff and chef are so understanding and provide excellent service. I am a vegan (the only one in my group), but I didn’t feel left out. The dishes that were improvised for me were so delicious. The non-vegans loved them too😊 Thank you, Iron Gate, for a fun and delicious evening!

    Sommelier missing on this visit and not as much knowledge across the wait staff on the food…something was a bit off, so I’ll chalk it up to a Sunday night thing in DC.
