The food and wine were great. Our server (Amanda?) was busy with many tables but attentive and helpful. We sat in a tent area outside, which we usually would prefer but the weather was chilly and the diners were loud. The tables were separated but the crowd noise was loud. A speaker was right behind us playing jazz standards, which we like, but it was too close to my chair.
This was our first visit to the Iron Bridge Wine Co.-Columbia. We originally had a reservation for 4 outdoors (all that was available online) but asked for inside seating once we arrived; inside seating was available.
Pricing was pretty reasonable and food was very good, however, one person in our party didn't receive a salad with the other appetizers. Server and wait staff was attentive .
The authentic Ginger beer and Blueberry iced tea were delicious.
The meal was slow in coming but they were working under adverse circumstance i.e. lack of staff, and gave us extra bread an a voucher for next meal. Given the time we live in they were worthy of five stars.
Iron Bridge continues to be one of my favorite places for special dinners. They keep creating interesting culinary adventures and do little things to make your evening memorable. Love the wines pairings and flights that come along with the always amazing menu.
Thank you for another wonderful evening IBWC staff.
Food was outstanding. Service started out that way and waned at the end. Veal tenderloin and short ribs were excellent.
The food, wine, and service were excellent on a sunny Sunday afternoon, dining outside under the canopy. Iron Bridge maintains a standard of excellence, and I am always eager to go there.
Wonderful staff, wonderful food, great wine selection… we enjoyed everything completely.
Good but not great. Loud fan was right by our table. Server forgot our coffee.
We enjoyed the experience. We were celebrating a birthday.
Easy to find once you get to Columbia. We were warmly greeted. Our Server and the Manager checked on us regularly, but not obtrusively. Wonderful time was had by all. We and the couple who joined us are eager to return
Excellent food at a very good price. The location is beautiful and even though the area we were in was open, noise levels were still very low. One of the best creme brulee's I have ever had. Scallops were also incredible. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
All around excellent. The cocktail I had and the cheese plate were to die for! Planning to go back again soon.
The outdoor experience was very nice, and comfortable.
I have been a fan of Iron Bridge for 15 or so years. I love the variety of the menu the quality, freshness and flavor of the food. The tents provide a safe outdoor eating environment and the seating is comfortable and well spaced.
Great wine offerings as well.
The dinner was excellent, both the food quality and service. Was missing one of the listed proteins from my dish but the free dessert took away my disappointment. Would have been happy to have paid for the free dessert, which was excellent, but was even happier to get it free!
Has quickly become our favorite restaurant in the Columbia area!
My salad was disappointing. It featured grilled peaches but they were hard as rocks. I added grilled chicken breast and while it was cooked well it was super salty.
We were greeted with an anniversary card at our table (we were celebrating our anniversary) and offered complimentary bubbly.
The food was delicious; we ordered the branzino (daily special), ribeye (daily special) as entrees and the grilled octopus and grilled shishito peppers as appetizers. For dessert, we ordered the creme brulee, which was fantastic.
Thank you, Iron Bridge!
Outdoor dining is fantastic! Our server Nikki was personable, knowledgeable and friendly.
Always a pleasure to eat here! The staff are always pleasant and prompt, and the food is fantastic. Easily one of the best restaurants in the area.
Great food and service
I was able to be seated quite promptly… however I opted for the bar. As this being my first time here I leaned on recommendations from the waitress.
Drink: fresh water was poured into a very clean glass even the bottle they left with me was clean. No oily film or cloudiness like I’ve seen in other places. I ordered a tequila cocktail with cucumber lime the name escapes me. Something potion, it was quite tasty. The cucumber flavors were there which was surprising.
Appetizer: I ordered the mussels and baguettes. The bread dipped in the savory juices of the mussels were good but the mussels themselves lacked flavor. I requested old bay which brought out the flavors of the dish and made it quite delicious. Only 2 mussels didn’t open while the dish was prepped.
Side dish: peach salad… the blend of lettuce was good the peaches were beyond old not sure why they even put them on the salad. The waitress offered me a salad to go with no peaches which took away from the point of the salad.
Entree: Honey glazed steak medallions coconut rice and broccolini topped with toasted sesame seeds. Had my steak prepared med rare. The broccolini was slightly over cooked the rice was flavorful but the dish overall was too sweet. All I tasted was sugar… very bland outside of the sugar taste. I truly expected more.
Overall the timing of the dishes brought out was perfect. I wasn’t rushed didn’t feel like they forgot about me or my order. The service was good too. Enjoyed the music and the ambiance of it all.
Will go back again.
Really delicious food and wine, good service and quiet ambiance.
Awesome service and fabulous food!
Lovely meal and excellent service
Yummy and relaxing dinner!
Unfortunately my steak was undercooked. The waiter asked if I wanted to send it back but I declined. Also told the manager. Everything else was good. Next time I’ll ask for well done instead of medium to well.
Highly recommend! We had a great experience for my boyfriend's birthday dinner here - food was fabulous and the service was exceptional!
Always a great meal and great staff. Exceptional Restaurant.
I’ve been there dozens of time and have never been disappointed. But it has been a year since I’ve been back. My favorite appetizer, the brussel sprout was too sweet and overly dry. The soft shell crabs on their special menu was sooo delicious! Had we known, we would’ve ordered that as our entree. The hoisin glazed iron steak was too salty and the fried rice that was paired with it was a bit dry (and salty too). The creme brûlée stayed true and was delicious.
Service was excellent as usual. We were informed that they changed chefs about 8 months ago. I won’t let one bad meal here deter me from going back as I’ve always been happy with them!
Food was phenomenal. Our server was fantastic. Wine selection was not impressive and food took 45 minutes to come out.
I have been going to Iron Bridge for over 12 years...food is always excellent. While our waiter was fun, personable and knowledgable, the wait time for our food and the wine selection were so disappointing.
Enjoyed our dinner with friends. Food was delicious and service was friendly and professional. Would go there again.
Not sure what happened at this once fine establishment. Food was mediocre aside from sweet potatoes which were so burnt, they resembled lumps of coal. Disappointed
My wife and I had a wonderful experience and he staff and food was amazing
The short rib special was to die for. The scallops were also phenomenal. We love the food and service. The staff is top notch!
A wonderful evening. Our server was absolutely great. We ate in the outdoor area and it was very pleasant. The food and wine was outstanding. I highly recommend.
Our server was excellent, but a shortage of kitchen staff had a negative effect on our dining experience. Our drinks came quickly, and so did hors d’oeuvres, but then entrees took over an hour to receive. To her credit, the server informed was upfront about the problem, which we appreciated. The food was good. Would recommend trying this place AFTER they are fully staffed.
The staff was great, but the food was average quality.
Sat outside under a canopy with palm trees blowing in the fan breeze. So nice! The food and cocktails were wonderful. The tomato/watermelon salad and the mussels were perfect for a hot summer day. Try the Gin Y Tonica. Not your usual G&T but addicting. Will definitely keep going back!
