Iron Bar is a restaurant and bar situated right in the heart of New York City. While many restaurants claim to be "in the middle" of the city, Iron Bar is located just one block off of Times Square, the busiest place and in the center of the shopping and nightlife scenes. Even if guests just step in to get a drink, they won't be disappointed. Iron Bar has over 45 beers on tap and another 45 available in the bottle.To eat at Iron Bar, diners have two choices. If not feeling particularly hungry, guests can simply order some dishes off of the appetizer menu like crispy chicken wings, General Tso's calamari or Kobe beef sliders. However, if wanting to do a full meal guests will need to plan ahead and bring a minimum of 20 people. Iron Bar has pre-set pizza and barbecue menus for large parties.

Vibes were great, good music and food. However the service was horrible. We waiting a very long time for our server to come back and check in.

Very convenient location for a quick dinner before a Broadway show. The bartenders were not friendly. Attractive but, aloof, not one a single smile was offered to us. We waited at least 10 min at a half empty bar before a bartender asked us for a drink request. Very busy chatting with a friend at the end of the bar. Chicken slider were too thin and dry. Not a happy experience. This was Thur.May 15th 5:15 PM

Our reservation didn’t seem to matter as they said we had no reservation even when we showed them the confirmation. Had to find our own table and it was still dirty and not cleared for about 30 minutes. Good did arrive pretty quickly and our server was kind but seemed like o be overwhelmed and they were very understaffed.

The food was good, generous portions. Service was great. Unfortunately the music was very loud and my friend said she would never go back.

Food was great, but we were sat at a visibly dirty table. I’m not sure if this was during shift change, but there appeared to be only one server who walked past us several times without even acknowledging that we had been sitting there. We have been sitting there for a minimum of 10 minutes before anybody came over. However, after that, the food came out hot, the drinks were good. The food was very good. I would recommend the wings and the calamari was fantastic.

Vibe, food and drinks were very good but be aware if your make a reservation. We got there on time and they said they had no room for us. 20 mins later we were about to leave and a table happened to be leaving so we were able to stay. We made a reservation and also confirmed it so if going before a show, this may not be the best place to go.

My sister and I went for lunch before seeing a play. Our server Alex was excellent. His attention was outstanding. We had a wonderful conversation after our meal and his uplifting personality and thoughts made us so happy. The food was delicious and served fast and hot. Overall great place to visit and hope you get Alex as your server.

Food was alright - had nachos, a salad, and three flatbreads shared at the table of 4 of us. Flatbreads were doughy and weren’t cut all the way through, they were just alright. Salad was very lightly dressed, and for a Caesar salad that’s the most important part. Service was good - a few servers working all the tables at the same time so everyone kept checking in. All in all not bad.
