Located at the southern end of Cragun's Resort, Irma's Kitchen celebrates a tradition of good cooking and scratch-made food. Housed in the historic Hungry Gull Restaurant, originally built by Walter and Lena Frampton in 1926, where Lena cooked three hearty meals a day, lumberjack style. In 1946, Ben and Eleanor Curry became the new owners and expanded the restaurant. The property changed hands several times until 1988 when Dutch and Irma Cragun purchased it. Even today, Irma's Kitchen maintains its rustic style log cabin feel, serving delicious house-made cuisine in a cozy ambiance with picturesque views of Gull Lake.

When you come to dine, take notice of the original Pastry Cooks cupboard, which was salvaged from the original kitchen and refinished to retain the building's historic charm. Experience Gull Lake's best restaurant and enjoy Cragun's dining legacy.

the walleye was beyond outstanding the duck was a little chewy and not my favorite but the sauce and everything with was outstanding. I think I just do not care for duck. Friend had pasta and said it was great Service was point on perfect even though the server had many other guests.

Oh my! This was our very first visit, and went last night for the special dinner event for their season opening. Did we ever have a gastronomic experience last night at Irma’s Kitchen in Cragun’s Resort!!! We had 3 appetizers, wedge salad, 4 entrees: duck, two pastas and one salmon, dessert of strawberry shortcake and macarons. One glass of wine was Included in the price per person. Incredible!!! Our server, Pauline, was excellent, efficient and fun to have her take care of us. We also met, Melissa, the events & dining manager, and we had an enjoyable conversation. We will be back to Irma’s Kitchen during our stay this summer!

Service was extremely slow! Food took over an hour after order was placed, group of 7. The kids meals arrived about 10 minutes after the adults. I guess we need to specify children should be served first. It didn’t seem too busy 1 table of 2 and 2 tables of 8-10 people, but the large groups seemed to be mostly drinking.

Server Abby went "above and beyond" assisting us. Even took a great family photo. Nice kids and a very visible manager working.

Celebrating 69 years around the sun and our server Lucas made it super special Excellent food was had by our entire party of 6 The appetizers were awesome and we all got a great surprise withe the walleye egg rolls my husband had an awesome ribeye and my sons pork chop was excellent we all enjoyed the signature desserts and got to say that Irma’s staff made turning 69 not so bad!!

Appetizers over priced - 6 little steak bites for $18. The walleye egg roll was 1 cut into 3 small pieces. Service was good but not a busy evening - only 3 tables filled on patio and no one inside.

We sat on the Patio at Irma’s Kitchen overlooking beautiful Gull Lake. Our server was pleasant and professional. The food was excellent as was the presentation.
