The Irish Embassy serves patrons with an authentic pub experience with each and every experience. Order up the fish and chips, and you will feel as if you are right in the middle of Dublin. Couple that with a Guinness and the transformation is complete at the Irish Embassy.
This is a great place to meet after work for a few drinks. In addition to the traditional Irish drinks readily available, the full bar will whip up your favorite cocktail on demand. The famous bangers and mash can be had here as well, so whatever your taste for food might be, you will find plenty of options at Irish Embassy.
I would recommend this place yes. However, being an Irish pub one would expect Irish music for the band. They had two guys with guitars playing 70s pop music, way out of tune, vocals too low guitars too high. took away from the ambiance so much my wife and I left after dinner. We were planning on staying for the evening.
I was actually disappointed upon walking in, I don’t think the tables and chairs or the dinner wear have been updated in a few decades.
Service was okay.
The food.... not sure if it was our selection but both of us had ordered the Irish Lamb stew and shared a poutine. Poutine wasn’t great but edible, the lamb stew was gross and the presentation completely unappetizing. The lamb was very tough which is odd in a stew.
This seems to be a popular venue and was quite busy .... I don’t understand why unless people show up to drink and socialize and it’s not about the food.
Needless to say, I wouldn’t return or recommend this venue.
Food and service is great. Good place for work lunch or casual drinks with friends
Atmosphere is great for social groups, good shareables, orders filled quite quickly.
Salmon was delicious! Very friendly waiter with a sense of humor.
Great place to grab a quick bite before the game. Will stop in again the next time we see the Leafs.
Pub-fare. Nothing extraordinary.
The staff is always excellent. They have been there for a while and always have a good disposition.
We come here for a nice dinner and Guinness a few times a month. Closest thing to Dublin we have here.
Great, fast service for our lunch meeting
When we come to Toronto, we LOVE eating at Irish Embassy!! Food is ALWAYS great and love the ambience and crowd!!
The Guinness is always great and the braised beef rigatoni was delicious!
Great choice before a show. Quick, friendly service. Great food. A bit noisy when busy as tables close together.
It was to cold in the room. So we have to leaver. The beer was VERY GOOD
Great meetup place, easy to get to from subway abd pleasant experience
We had a great group dinner and the service was excellent.
Great food and service. A bit loud but the fruit flies drive us nuts. Hard to control but whatever. Would definitely go again.
I always like their fish and chips.....................................
Really enjoyed the atmosphere at the Irish Embassy for the Dublon vs. Kerry match on the weekend. The food options were perfect, and the service was great despite how busy they were.
Great food and service! It was our first time going there as a group. Food was excellent and our waiter was quick, attentive, and polite.
Had family visiting from Malaysia. Took them there tonight. Cottage pie and lamb stew were excellent, so was the whiskey collection !
Great spot in an old converted bank straight out of the movies. Good pub grub with a great vibe!
Excellent Food and Service in the Irish Tradition.
Yes, 'A wee bit of the Emerald Isle' right here, in downtown T.O..
The best Pint of Guinness in the city.
Lunch was good, service was excellent. No complaints
Good pub menu, but the service is always excellent!
Great fish n chips. Guinness was really tasty. Our waitress was at the end of her shift, and she never made us feel rushed or not looked after...a true professional to the end.
Good food, nice ambiance, decent prices. Would go again.
Nice pleasant service, however the noise from the side was too much.
Reliable location for good food and beer, friendly and professional staff, and a lively pub atmosphere.
Wonderful space. Waitstaff not great. Place was almost empty, but it took 15 minutes to get my beer, which I could see on the bar getting warm. Ordered fish and chips, which were good, but I noticed that my plate had one piece of fish, but the people next to me all had 2. Things happen, but if you are waiting tables, and you know that an entree is incomplete, you tell the kitchen staff. It felt strange. My son loved his bangers and mash, though. Still, the space is lovely with high ceilings and plenty of Irish touches.
We were in Toronto to see Come From Away and stopped at the Irish Embassy for lunch first. Great food in a beautiful old building!
Food quality very good. Great environment as a sports bar/restaurant. Amazing when watching Raptors games there.
Always a winner - great location, atmosphere, food and service. Authentic pub feel with a menu to suit all appetites and a bar with good options.
Good lunch spot and fair prices. Food could have been a bit hotter.
Best Fish & Chips I’ve ever had. Charming atmosphere with good service.
Friendly and professional staff. Good service, excellent food. Handy location.
From the warm greeting at the FOH; to immediate seating; to patiently waiting for that first Pint;
it was all good.
Great Food and Service and the "Best Pint of Guinness" west of Dublin and the finest selection of
Limited Menu, but the food is superb.
Very pleasantly surprised. Not normally a "pub food" fan but it was excellent. They were even able to make me my favourite cocktail. Waitress was terrific as well. I will definitely be back!
Service was fast and friendly. The food was very good. But the Irish Embassy did not have that pub feel more like a cafeteria and super loud.
Plus side: We enjoyed our Cobb salad and fish and chips. Service was fast. Cost fair.
Negative side: The dining room was very noisy and tables packed close togather.
