   Iris is one of our favorite neighborhood places. Last night was a great example of why we go there so often. There were three of us. We started with the selection of mezze which comes with incredibly delicious pita and fantastic whipped feta, hummus, tzatziki, stuffed grape leaves, eggplant and more. Then the three of us shared a lamb flatbread [a bit too spicy for one of us -- but the other two loved it] and the 1/2 chicken, which is always superbly moist and delicious, garnished with pistachio and other delights. After dinner drinks were lovely as well and a delicious bottle of Greek white wine was savored by all of us. At $60 it was one of the cheaper wines on the menu. We love the fact that there is adequate room between tables and the warm welcome we always receive when we arrive. Sergei the bartender is also warm and friendly too. There's an elegance about the place but also warm and attentive service.

   Thought food was good - feta salad, fried calamari and prawns. Thought prawns overpriced -$45 for 2.

   It’s so wonderful to find a quality venue NEAR Times Square but not IN Times Square. Flavorful food, top service, beautiful decor, and a thoughtful ambiance. Highly recommend.

   Iris, has been one of the best restaurants I have tried. This was my second time eating there and this time I brought my family to enjoy the food and ambience for Easter Sunday. The drinks are also great.

   Delightful, as always, in one of the most attractive dining rooms in midtown Manhattan, Iris buzzes with an infectious energy. So many happy people conversing and eating such delicious food, and what a beverage list, and all of it served by such a polished and convivial staff of professionals. Brava and bravo to everyone involved with the ongoing blossoming of Iris.

   Fantastic pre theatre experience before we had to head to a show at Carnegie. They did a great job with timing and the pre-theatre prix fixe had great options

    The food at Iris is absolutely outstanding! The appetizer platter with homemade sourdough pita, dips and stuffed grape leaves is delicious and we could have just had that as our meal. But we had to make room for the delicious branzino, swordfish and moussaka we ordered and everything was just so good. Our server was warm and friendly and devoted to making our experience a good one. Iris never disappoints and we will return whenever we're in town.
