   This was my first time dining at this establishment. The food was amazing and the service was nice. I decided to dine on the lower level for a more intimate setting with bae, since it was our anniversary dinner.

   The entire experience was great. The food was excellent. Our server was excellent as well, he had a number of tables that night but he still made sure we received everything in a timely manner. This was only my 2nd time there and it was even better than the first time.

   Restaurant worker are not AWARE of their own policy. I was told my 50 dollars that was charged to my card would be return at the end of the business day. I called the following day they told me not to worry that it was a busy day. I gave the restaurant five days. On the fifth day the manager informs me that my 50 was taken off the bill. I expressed to him that it was not told to me that 50 would be taken off my bill but refunded back. IRE ENTREE IS BAD BUSINESS! Workers are unprofessional.

   Overall the food when we went was good. You must make reservations to book you’re not allowed to just walk in even though they have a bar upstairs. If you try to cancel, it is so hard to get through to cancel reservations due to the automated system and they charge a fee if you no-show. They should also put that Wednesday with karaoke and they stop the music saying people were Twerking and cursing, but they should list this on their website. I understand it’s a family restaurant, but they should have stipulations on their website. Food was amazing. Drinks were very good.

   Do NOT support this business if you do not want to be scammed. I would give them a zero just for lying if I could. Ordered my food and a Dragon Fruit Margarita, they came out at the exact same time. I started eating my food first, and maybe about 5 minutes later I tried my drink. It oddly tasted like Robitussin. I waited another 10 minutes for my waitress to finally come down and let her know about the drink. When she returned, she said the bartender stated we had it too long. When I requested to speak with a manager, I asked two separate employees, no one ever came to the table. By the time I asked for the check, I asked another employee for the manager and let him know about the drink. He said the bartender said we had our drinks for 30 minutes and there was nothing to be done. There was no issue with the policy, just the lack of respect for a customer and the blatant lying. I was trying to support a black owned business but this is not one to support if you’re looking for quality customer service.

   The salmon was cooked to perfection, the wings were tasty and the drink was amazing. It was too loud to talk though.

   It’s always great to Caribbean(Jamaican) restaurant in the community. People from Jamaica, and other islands alike, are always excited to support our Caribbean brothers and sisters. When we visit these restaurants, we want to feel like home. Having basic essentials, such as, the local ginger beer, and other tropical drinks, gives a homely feeling. We tried calling prior to our arrival (7 times) and were unsuccessful because they have an automated phone system. I sent 2 messages to the restaurant via Open Table messaging (no response). The $25 per person to reserve is ridiculous and added 18% to each bill. Customer service is important to me and this restaurant has not proven to value their guests. This was my second time visiting and my last. The tables were too small to enjoy your meal and we ordered fish, it would have been nice to have an extra plate for the fish bones. The food was not bad, a little salty. M friend enjoyed the fesitvals.

    Food and service was good, however food was not hot coming out. It was warm. Very small portion of cabbage.
