International Smoke San Francisco is the wildly popular collaboration between award-winning Chef Michael Mina and renowned restaurateur, chef, 2x NY Times best-selling cookbook author, philanthropist, television host and producer, and entrepreneur Ayesha Curry.     Everything we ordered was delicious and our server was attentive. One member of our party had food allergies and our server paid attention and knew which foods she could and couldn’t eat.

    I’m not sure the last time the chef has tried his own food but he should. The short ribs were cold and full of fat and gristle. The lettuce wraps are not balanced, way too tangy and the server seemed very uncomfortable cooking the meat table-side. The staff seemed uninterested in providing meaningful service. We had such high hopes having been to this restaurant in Del Mar a few years ago. Unfortunately we won’t be coming back.

    Good food with a nice open setting. Can snell the smoke aroma when you walk in. We had the chefs’s menu which was good but very filling. Having a sample of all the appetizers was nice. Would have been nice to have the option to select dessert. The chocolate angel food cake was a bit dry.

    Overall a good experience, we shared a steak and salad and a few sides. Room for improvement would have to be the salad, a more generous portion would have been more in line with the vibe. Service was excellent!

    The food was delicious and the drinks were perfection. There were 4 of us each celebrating personal victories. Alfredo made the event extremely special. He really took good care of us and ensured a memorable lunch for all of us!

    Great evening. Food was great. The music was fantastic but a bit load as we had a table of 10...so a little hard to hear people on the other side of the table.
