The ambience overall was pleasant, very pretty on the back patio, everyone was spaced apart which I appreciated. My waitress & the staff were wonderful. Food, dessert & drink were overall spectacular. We will definitely be back.

Another great meal at Intermezzo! Gambas, Oyster Rockefeller and Salmon were delicious. Courtyard seating is so beautiful! Russ our server was attentive and knowledgeable! We highly recommend! Go there if you can!!

Went for family week day dinner, sat in the courtyard. Generally very good food, excellent service, and they filled our water glasses constantly, which was a huge plus!

Great local spot with delicious food. Pear pizza, meatballs, clams, little gems, mixed greens, veggie sides - all amazing. Solid wine list. The staff is wonderful. All restaurants are dealing with challenges right now, they have taken it in stride. I go every week with my hubby-we love it here.

Nice patio- so it is a very good choice for dining these days. The menu is fairly small and we were disappointed when they were out of the first two drinks we ordered. Appetizers were good- salad was a little string on the vinegar. The Gambos shrimp dish was excellent as was the lemon Creme brûlée. Overall very good. hoping they get the absent menu items taken care of

The food was delicious. We had the skirt steak with fingerling potatoes. The wine recommendation was great. This was not the first time here and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend intermezzo as well as wine cask itself indoor dining.

I took my girlfriend out here last night and we couldn’t be happier with the decision. We had an incredible time. We got the beet salad, cheese plate, pizza, steak and oysters. We will definitely be coming back the next chance we get.

Wow! We had a great meal at Intermezzo. Steak Frites, beet salad, meatballs. All really delicious and prepared really well. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable. The owner stopped by the table to say hello and check on our experience. The whole place has a really great vibe and energy. Ask to sit in the back courtyard... sooo beautiful and Covid safe. We definitely will be back!

We were lucky to get a table in the courtyard on a beautiful evening. Service was excellent. Cocktail menu was terrific. We had the parents and the pear pizza and both very good.

What a wonderful experience from start to finish!! The hostess was sweet and our server Jaime was outstanding!! The ambiance was just perfect, warm and romantic. Yet the music added that fun flair that made it lively and upbeat. The food was phenomenal!! Our meat cooked perfectly as requested. Sauces, seasoning and flavors all amazing!! Do not pass up dessert, no matter how full you think you might be!! We will definitely be going back!!

Beautiful setting esp for outdoor dining (sidewalk and interior patio. Tough and limited menu but very good. A little expensive, but then it is Santa Barbara.

I had an amazing salmon dish that was cooked to perfection !
Also the lemon creme brûlée was to die for, paired with the house made limoncello. Everything was perfect

Our first dinner together in months! A foggy coctail to start, Cremant with fabulous oysters, delightful cab to go with pate...we capped the dinner w Meyer lemon crepe brûlée...can’t wait to return!

This restaurant has a much more casual menu than its predecessor, the Wine Cask. The food was very good, pretty straightforward. Service was very friendly. I was able to bring a birthday cake without a charge. The irony was that they had a very reasonable house red wine which at the price seemed too good to be true. It was. Despite the waiter's endorsement it was pretty poor. I checked on Vivino and it got a 3.3 (extremely low)!

Great food and superb service! The mezzo meatballs were tender and delicious. Everything tasted so fresh and was executed well.

Intermezzo is one of our favorites in Santa Barbara along with the Wine Cask which will be reopening before too long. It is so beautiful there!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This was the best meal I have ever had in SB. the grilled bread, steak and fries, are unbelievable oh and the banana split just topped off a perfect evening.
The owners Diane and John were beyond accommodating and lovely people. Jamie was our server, he never missed an opportunity to go the extra mile to make the evening perfect.
If you try one new restaurant it has to be Intermezzo by wine cask you will not be disappointed!!

Salmon was delicious!! Great ambiance and the heaters kept us warm. Hand sanitizer provided on each table was a nice touch.

Intermezzo's interior courtyard is the perfect place to dine comfortably and really quite luxuriously -- as long as current restrictions remain in place. Lovely atmosphere, quiet, with great service, and a very interesting wine list. Plus, of course, a delicious menu of mostly small portions, brilliantly conceived by a talented chef. You can almost forget about Covid and imagine yourself in paradise when you dine here now....

Easily made a reservation and we were seated immediately upon arrival. Felt comfortable with outdoor dining and even more so with effective heat lamps. As a party of 4 we ordered the Mezzo Meatballs, House Mixed Greens, Pear & Talegio Pizza and Brussel Sprouts. Overall great selection and service. I’d love to come back and sit in the courtyard next time.
