We’ve been a couple times in the past months and we’re impressed both times with the selection and quality of the food and drink. Service is consistent and we will be back
Food and service were great. Anna was on top of everything.
Our first time to have dinner there, excellent! Very knowledgeable server, local produce, cooked perfectly- would definitely recommend and will be back! It was an anniversary celebration and they did a special dessert message on our plate.
Superb service, food served just right temperature, and the coffee from the French press was the best.
Best Fathers Day meal
Great-server was very nice and attentive. All meals were delicious!
I have always loved this restaurant and have never had anything that was not beyond delicious. Although, the chicken dish I had that evening was SO unappetizing. It looked like they dropped a breast in boiling water and put it on top of some very bland gnocchi. No flavor whatsoever. I should have stuck to my normal dishes I've ordered in the past
This was our first time at Interim and we had a great experience. The sommelier recommended an outstanding wine at an affordable price. We had the pork chop and the beef tenderloin, both were outstanding. For desert we had the peanut brittle pie and it was delicious. I think you can get just as good of food here for way less price than some other high end restaurants in Memphis. Great spot for an anniversary if you’re trying to stay around the $100 price range.
We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server was very attentive without being in the way or interrupting our conversations. The food was prepared perfectly. Great timing and good temperatures....We had quiet conversations going on at other tables that did not disturb us nor did we have to speak loudly in order to have conversations. Just perfect!
We all had the Interim lunch special and it was delicious!
Everything was absolutely wonderful at Interim!! Our server was so knowledgeable and the food was beyond delicious! If you haven’t been to Interim, you are definitely missing out. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and they did everything possible to make it special. Thank you, Interim!
Excellent as always!! Best duck I’ve ever had.
We were disappointed with the vegetarian entree. Seemed like just potatoes and a few vegetables. Nothing interesting or special.
Dessert was awesome.
The food and service were outstanding. The shrimp bisque was wonderful. The airline chicken was the favorite despite its comical name.
The food and service was outstanding! Jannica was very attentive, knowledgeable, and had great rapport - one of the best servers I’ve had. Overall, great experience. I definitely intend on returning.
We love Interim, and this meal was no exception. Beautifully presented salmon for parents, mac n' cheese for our little lady, made for a happy and delicious Mother's Day.
I would definitely recommend Interim for special occasions, such as Mothers’ Day, to celebrate with family and friends. While a bit pricey and some what limited menu options for more frequent meals out, the quality of both the food and service is consistently outstanding. Also works well for business meals.
Caesar salad was average. Fish of the day, salmon, was amazing.
Service was wonderful, food good, atmosphere was the best.
It was our very first visit. Everything was magnificent. Loved the friendliness of every employee. The food was wonderful. We were celebrating my husband's birthday...kind of wish they offered perhaps; a small birthday dessert or something...would've been nice.
Consistently beautifully prepared food and excellent service. My elderly mother left her new purse under her chair and the manager called me within ten minutes or less to tell me they had found it and would keep it safe for us until we picked it up.
Food was just mediocre, not what I was expecting after reading the other reviews. Will not be going back.
excellent service. chicken and waffles: the chicken was rubber. shrimp & grits was wonderful.
Just not good. Service was awkward. I know that’s a weird word to describe it, but waiter seemed almost annoyed. Came and went at weird intervals and would interrupt conversation to asked questions or tell specials. Food was terrible. Just not good. The fries were so over salted they were inedible. We were brought another order, but we were all over it. I got the fish special. It was lukewarm and over salted as well. My husbands burger was gamey and just not fresh tasting. So sad bc we used to love this restaurant.
Ambiance: very nice steakhouse type decor.
Host/maître d': was one of the nicest, most accommodating men I've met at a restaurant. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
Service: was very good, but not exceptional.
Chef: this is an open kitchen, which means the chefs should always be careful to watch what they are doing in the kitchen. The heavier set, man with a beard and a whisk on his left arm, kept wiping his nose and stroking his beard while cooking. I thought this was worth a one star deduction. I watched the other cooks/chefs in the kitchen and they did not seem to have the same issue with having to touch their beard and nose. Because the maître d' was so excellent I wanted to add back the star, but hopefully the 4 stars will call attention to the issue with this one chef.
Our reservation was for 7pm. We didn't get our main course until 9pm. Even the appetizers arrived one hour after placing an order with the waitress.
The server was courteous and attentive. The food was excellent. We were having dinner at 6:30 on a Sunday evening and there were only 3 or 4 tables in use. The Bar, however, was really hopping. Very crowded.
My new favorite place to eat in Memphis. My wife and I went for Sunday brunch. I had the huevos rancheros and my wife had the shrimp and grits. We both enjoyed a couple of nice (and generous) mimosas. We wrapped up by sharing a piece of the pear cake and everything was excellent! Jeff was our waiter and we couldn't ask for better services. We will definitely be returning soon!
We had the salmon and trout. It was delicious! Very noisy but it was a Saturday night so I wouldn’t complain too much.
It was awesome as always. Jeff Frisby, our server, was personable, efficient, and knowledgeable.
He treats our 7 years, granddaughter with kindness.
The food was very good. I ordered the Lamb Shank. My table also ordered several appetizers - cheese place, crab/corn cakes, and the curried mussels. Everything was delicious and the servers were very attentive.
My salmon was eatable but overdone. The wait between salad and entre was 25 minutes. And they charge for bread !!!!!
You have to save room for dessert— no matter what! Whether it is one of the regular treats listed on the menu or a chef’s special, it will be out of this world!
Great as always thanks to Hal’s impeccable service and the consistency of the menu! Food, atmosphere and service all excellent! One of my Memphis favorites!
Used to be our go-to place for a fun date night and guaranteed good dinner. However, the menu has changed and it is really disappointing. Also, or service was SO slow. We left and all said we wished we had gone somewhere else.
Brunch Menu is limited and pricey!
Maybe look into other resturant's menu such as Owen Brennan's!
Great meal but there was a wine tasting in the same dining room with probably 50 people. Would not
have booked at that time if I had advance knowledge of the event. Very loud which is not usually the case at Interim.
Too noisy because a group of 40 were in the same room. Had I known would not have booked. Ruined the experience
Very good food & service. Lovely ambiance. A good dining experience.
