Preparation and flavors of our food was outstanding as was our service from Tyler.
Needs less lighting, food and service was great just very small portions for the price for a hungry adult male
Great food and enjoyable evening.
Our service was lower than par....I booked with a Birthday occasion...one recognition at seating, that was nice. Once seated or Waitress attentiveness was not good. Once ordered entrees I Waited for second glass of wine after food was served and when our food was served, we waited for our waitress checking in on us because I had cold mashed potatoes ....and still no second glass of wine. When waiter returned she asked if I wanted a “third” glass of wine when I hadn’t received a second yet. My steak was not tender. I ordered it medium. It was over all an experience that was so underrated from what the website and their ratings expect the customer to experience. This was our second time here, first time 6yrs ago and it was the same. We thought to give it a second chance, but will it a third.
beautiful dinner & experience -excellent as always!!
Interim has always had great food and great service.
The reviews from Yelp gave this restaurant a higher rating than we experienced. The food was average, less quality than I expected based on reviews. The service was quite lacking, the waitress seemed indifferent and was not very engaging. I had to flag her down a few times as she rarely stopped by to check on us.
We waited an hour in between salad and entree. Our waiter didn’t bother to acknowledge the delay until 45 mins had passed after our salad. Once the food arrived it was two of the worst looking and tasting plates I’ve ever had. Mine was palatable, my husband’s was inedible. We ultimately got a credit for his meal, but the whole evening was a huge disappointment. Management was nice and seemed to appreciate our feedback, but it was just awful overall. This restaurant isn’t what it used to be. Not by a long shot.
I love eating Sunday brunch here. The staff are attentive and the food is good. I made the mistake of not ordering anything substantial. I got a soup and salad, and the salad was fresh but not very tasty. Other than that the rest of our party and I enjoyed our time there.
The burger was outstanding. The oysters were also delicious. However, the salmon dish lacked flavor and had hardly any vegetables and the Mac and cheese was dry and also under seasoned. Hence the three star rating.
I was very disappointed. It was a Friday evening at 6:45. I had reserved a table in the bar. When we arrived, we were told we would have to wait while the hostess told the people at a table to move and clean the table we had reserved. This only took a few minutes, but what’s the point of making a reservation if you have to wait? We ordered burgers. I ordered mine medium, when it arrived the meat was well-done and the fries were limp. Which tells me, the burger sat in the kitchen before the server brought it to the table. The burger was generous in size, so I do not mind paying the $17.00, however, when it is brought to the table over cooked and cold, it is disappointing.
The food and service was very good but I felt that the entrees were a little pricey.
Birthday celebration and the desert was unique and delicious. Had to remind waitress of the occasion. We had three different entres and each was fine
Good spot, kitchen can be a bot noisy. Food was great.
Very nice restaurant, service good, food good and the dessert was to die for. Plan to come back and tell others...
Service was lackluster, food mediocre to just bad.
Everything was great from the host to the dessert. I will definitely come back.
Great food. Tuna was excellent as well as peanut butter pie. Excellent pastry chef
Small party. Seated in back room as requested so we could visit.
This is a very nice restaurant with a somewhat laid-back feel. Our group of 5 were sat at a round table, which was very conducive to conversation for all. The service was attentive, but not over bearing. Most of the food was delicious, but I had the market fish, which ended up a little bland for my palette. Thankfully the sauce served with the fish and rice perked it up a little. Also the 'Banana Pudding' was a little disappointing in that it was more the consistency of a flan than a pudding and it was a little too sweet for me. Other diners at our table raved about their choices for entrees & desserts. Considering everything, I highly recommend this restaurant.
Excellent service, food was great...always consistently fabulous.
We all enjoyed out meal. Great experience. Ya'll come.
Food was very good, really enjoyed our dinner and will be going back.
Service was good although our server was pretty new and had to ask someone else a lot of our questions. The food has been better. The fish special didn't have much taste and was kind of tough.
Please fix the A/C. It has been too warm in the restaurant the last few times I enjoyed the food there!
As usual, our experience was wonderful. The service by the wait staff was excellent and the food was some of the best in Memphis. Both of us ordered the airline chicken and it was outstanding.
Very good food, amazing service and overall a wonderful date night dinner with my husband. The duck breast was very good. The fish special with broccolini was also delicious.
The occasion was a birthday
We’ve been a couple times in the past months and we’re impressed both times with the selection and quality of the food and drink. Service is consistent and we will be back
Food and service were great. Anna was on top of everything.
Our first time to have dinner there, excellent! Very knowledgeable server, local produce, cooked perfectly- would definitely recommend and will be back! It was an anniversary celebration and they did a special dessert message on our plate.
Superb service, food served just right temperature, and the coffee from the French press was the best.
Best Fathers Day meal
Great-server was very nice and attentive. All meals were delicious!
I have always loved this restaurant and have never had anything that was not beyond delicious. Although, the chicken dish I had that evening was SO unappetizing. It looked like they dropped a breast in boiling water and put it on top of some very bland gnocchi. No flavor whatsoever. I should have stuck to my normal dishes I've ordered in the past
This was our first time at Interim and we had a great experience. The sommelier recommended an outstanding wine at an affordable price. We had the pork chop and the beef tenderloin, both were outstanding. For desert we had the peanut brittle pie and it was delicious. I think you can get just as good of food here for way less price than some other high end restaurants in Memphis. Great spot for an anniversary if you’re trying to stay around the $100 price range.
We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server was very attentive without being in the way or interrupting our conversations. The food was prepared perfectly. Great timing and good temperatures....We had quiet conversations going on at other tables that did not disturb us nor did we have to speak loudly in order to have conversations. Just perfect!
