Insalata's Restaurant celebrating their 20th Anniversary. Insalata's receives Bib Gourmand from Michelin for it's 8th year in a row.
Our goal at Insalata's has always been to bring luscious Mediterranean food, gracious service and a warm atmosphere to our diners. For over 20 years we have shared this experience of intimate dining and joyful celebrations in a variety of ways. First and foremost as a fine dining restaurant with our beautiful private Siena room in which to sit and relax and enjoy a meal. We also offer take out dining for those days when time is of the essence, or catered affairs where we bring great food and staff into your home or venue. Our guests have become family and we have grown together in the community in which we all live and work. Everyone at Insalata's is extremely proud to be a part of this extended "village" family.

Wonderful meal as always. The lunch was served with the greatest of care by a very thoughtful
wait staff, who gave great recommendations and was most helpful. We plan to return again soon.

Our waitress was lovely but very inattentive. She brought our drinks, told us to let her know when we were ready to order, and then she stayed away for over 30 minutes! Nice to not feel rushed, but that was ridiculous!

Excellent meal ~ duck, special mozzarella/citrus appetizer was wonderful! We also had steak, which was quite good. Wines by the glass are a bit expensive ~ $19 for a Chardonnay, but pours were good. Takeout options are always good, especially the yogurt-marinated chicken. Very nice waitress too!

I cannot rave enough about Friday'[s experience. The food was superb. The service excellent. Even though it was a table for two between other tables, we felt very private. You guys do it all supremely WELL. Thanks for that!

I like this restaurant because Brian Weirum is the world's best waiter and just happens to be a long time friend from th adventure travel business. Always fun to catch up on Brian's latest adventure while enjoying a great meal.

This place has been a Marin mainstay for many years. The food is consistently inventive and outstanding. Heidi has created a gem and I am NEVER disappointed. And the servers are the nicest folks.

Group of 6 on busy night, seated at worst table despite request via phone conversation and confirmation to sit mezzanine which is more comfortable and better acoustics. Food is consistently excellent. Service can be spotty and was extremely slow on this night, but food was saved as brought out hot by kitchen staff. Great menu and always delicious. It seemed to have been understaffed on our night.
