   I always have the yogurt chicken but this time it was extra delicious and a huge portion The eggplant fries were a new discovery. Yummy and service as professional as always. Thanks Insalata for keeping prices reasonable and the food so authentically fresh and delicious. It’s my favorite spot in Marin

   Both the service and the food were excellent and the environment is lovely.  I enjoyed a tasty dish of moules frites.   My dining companion enjoyed the Merquez lamb burger, which was cooked to perfection. I lived in Brussels for many years, where I frequently enjoyed the national dish of moules frites. I normally use an empty  shell to grip onto and gently pull the orange meat out of another shell. At your restaurant, I was given a small fork and tablespoon, but no individual hand wipe to use after I finished eating my meal using the empty shell method. Given the moules sauce is a bit messy, if you go with the traditional way of eating moules, you end your meal with sticky fingers. Might I suggest you include an individual hand wipe for your guests who select moules frites.

   The food at Insalatas is consistently delicious with surprising flavors that meld perfectly. Tonight I went with a friend who is a fabulous chef in his own right and he, too, was impressed with the quality of the cuisine. Every bite was a delight.

   First time there. We were a party of 6 celebrating birthdays and an anniversary. Beautiful space, excellent food, service was very good, complimentary desserts for the 2 celebrants and they were both amazing. We had a table that was adjacent to the open kitchen. I was concerned that we would not be able to hear each other over the kitchen noise, but it was not that loud and fun to see the orchestration of the kitchen staff. Next time I will request to be seated further away from the kitchen when making the reservation. The outdoor seating looked charming.

   One of the best meals we have had in a long time. The food - vadouvan lamb chops with kumquats, seared salmon, yogurt roasted chicken and vegetable tagine were all excellent, as was a fabulous appetizer of truffled mushroom and pea on toast was inventive and delicious. A desert of coconut-mango pavlova was a perfect cap to the meal. Our server, Felix, and all the staff could not have been more attentive. Simply fantastic - once again...
