Inn on the Shore
During the winter months we have a double-sided woodburner in the dining area and another one in the bar area with soft seating for you to enjoy a pre-dinner drink or coffee and cake in the morning.
Our lounge bar offers a TV for all the major sporting events, a pool table over the winter months and a juke box.
The outside areas wrap around three sides of the pub with a large car park. The grassed area has a children’s play area, then to the front of the pub and to the side we have seating areas with stunning sea views.
We also have our ‘Gin on the Shore’ outside bar that offers a selection of lagers and ciders alongside a dazzling range of gins and serves onto the decked area during sunny days.
We have eight beautifully-refurbished en-suite letting rooms for you to stay in, all of which are dog friendly! Please call ahead if you would like to book with a dog.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful.
Disappointed with the food. First time out this year! Had to send a meal back...it was terrible...tacos with chicken. There was one piece of chicken in each about 2x2cms!! Shocking. Lovely venue for a drink though. Felt safe.
Service extremely good.
Issues with the food particularly the Caesar salad which consisted on stale burger bun, nondescript Caesar dressing and wafer thin Parmesan which was in short supply. Very overpriced.
The have yet steak was over cooked and chewy. The Mac cheese was bland , not cheesy enough.
Views and front of house staff were outstanding.
It was quite a windy day and the waitress went out of her way to find us a sheltered table but still with a good view of the bay. All the staff were friendly. The tables were well spaced out. Hand sanitiser was available on entering and leaving. We felt quite safe. The food was fine, lunch time 'pub grub'. The views of the bay are stunning especially when the sun is shining. We will definitely go again.
Delicious burger; noodle wrap lacked flavour though.
Very much worth a visit - great views from outside seating area
Lovely but all that food put on a paper box for 13.oo and hardly any ketchup not good value and paper knife and forks really
We had a wonderful lunch outside in the sunshine overlooking the beach. The care and attention to Covid safety enabled us to have a stress free visit which was very much appreciated. The service was very good and really friendly.
Really nice evening, would of liked bigger portions for the dinner menu though, fine for a lunch.
Avoid the tacos (green cardboard), go for the fish finger sandwich (fab). Food prices good, drink prices seem higher post lockdown. Location is awesome and the service, while slow, was very friendly.
Great location but service was stretched and food arrived 1.5 hours after being ordered.
Lovely lunch despite the wind! Staff efficient and friendly. Will be back!
Whilst I appreciate with only outside dining due to Covid and it being a Friday evening things are not ideal, but having to wait 40 minutes for drinks and over 90 minutes for food from when we arrived is not acceptable.
The food was good when it arrived but that only happened after explaining that if it didn't arrive within 15 minutes we were off!
We've dined here before in 'normal times' and it has always been good, so hopefully this was a one off.
This place has a magical setting and is perfect for an early supper with a fab view 😍
Good efficient and friendly service despite the current rules and the food was as expected 👌
Will be back if we visit this area again in the future!
Our food order was taken eventually, maybe 30 minutes ? We ordered BBQ Jackfruit tacos, a side of chips and tofu ramen. This eventually came, fortunately we aren’t strict veggies as the jackfruit was chicken which we only noticed after asking for spoons for the ramen which took another five minutes to come. We didn’t send the chicken taco back as by then we had already waited long enough. The food was very good, very tasty however the staff were not on the ball. My dining partner mentioned the chicken issue as an advisory when paying the bill, this was met with nonchalance. Food good, service poor and it wasn’t busy enough for this to be an excuse. I booked this as a result of very good Facebook posts.
Great food and great service, easy to book in, very clean and tidy lovely views when sitting outside
Friendly helpful staff. Lovely atmosphere and a lovely sunny day 😎 Thank you.
Quickly shown to table. Well spaced apart and excellent location by the sea.
Booked a table on a cold, but sunny evening. It was chilly in the shade and they moving tables around to put is nearer the sun. The food was lovely and hot, and oh so tasty. We had the lovely tachos to start then a main each. The citrus IPA was a lovely surprise.....such a view over the clear blue sea !!
We had an excellent meal the service and food were great
I couldn't ask for a better view. Gorgeous views across the ocean and the bay. Great food and friendly customer service.
We went for an evening meal and some drinks. On arrival we waited in the queue to be seen and was told our time slot was only for ten minutes - we had waited in the queue for this long so they did let us in. They took our food and drinks order - our food arrived before our drinks. We were there for just over 2 hours and had only 2 drinks the whole time. It took 45 minutes of waiting and asking for our drinks before they arrived. The staff were nowhere to be seen at one point...service was awfully slow, and considering there wasn’t many people its hard to understand why we were waiting so long for our drinks.
Very pleasant position with Covid rules adhered to. Food was very nice but served in cardboard box resulting in food being a little cramped and giving the impression of a small portion. Otherwise very good
Great pub, great food and service. Nelly is a star ! Could be a long spring without patio heaters .....
Fabulous location overlooking the beach and Looe Bay. Nice seating arrangement. Interesting food selection which was very tasty. Food and drinks a bit slow to arrive but it was very busy. Overall a very nice experience.
Great food, great atmosphere and lovely staff- looking forward to coming back again in the Summer holidays.
Despite being very busy the waiting staff did a great job - very attentive and made to feel very welcome! My dog loved the Doggie ice cream!
Team were very attentive under difficult COVID circumstances. Great location and will certainly return.
Clearly struggling with re-opening. Very long wait for substandard food. To be fair, I was given discount when I complained, but a very disappointing experience overall. Hopefully things will improve as they adjust to being open again.
Lovely evening and food was great, staff are really nice and helpful. Will definitely be going again.
Lovely last minute lunch in the sun!
You ran out of chips which was a shame but otherwise all great! See you again
Lovely to be back and lovely to see the combined team trying so hard.
