Inland Pacific Kitchen
Our menu has three to four sections with small composed plates all ranging fewer than twenty dollars. The hope is that you can share and try several items.
We also offer a ten course tasting menus with wine, beer and spirit pairings available. Please give the chefs 24 hour notice for tasting menu.
Great food and drinks enhanced by the service and ambiance. Will be going back when the menu changes next.
We ate at IPK with friends on quiet night. The setting is very stylish but welcoming; our server was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. We especially enjoyed sharing carrot and lentils, pork belly and sweet potato, and prawn skewers. The dessert was just OK but overall the dishes were fresh and creative. We look forward to returning for the next iteration of the menu.
Food was delicious. Presentation was beautiful. Service was attentive. Everyone in the party enjoyed the experience. We will be back.
We shared all the small plates on the menu which was perfect for 3 of us. All the dishes were fantastic except the shrimp. It was a couple large tempura fried whole shrimp that were not cooked enough. They needed a couple minutes more in the oil. The sauces were a poor mix of a peanut and some type of sriracha mix. These two sauces clashed quite a bit. I hate to spend time on what was wrong but as I stated above all the other 10 dishes were superb and what I would expect for this restaurant. The other dishes consisted of several salads that had wonderful mixes, pork tenderloin that was fantastic in it's special sauce, pork belly that was done perfect, and several other small plates. I also have to mention the bar. My wife and I are not gin people but found the gin based drinks really good! I had to limit myself to one due to driving but would have gladly had several if I had a ride.
I have been wanting to try Inland Pacific Kitchen since they opened. I finally got the opportunity and I was very excited to try it with my husband. I will start off by saying that the atmosphere and service were both great. We loved the decor and the layout of the restaurant was fun. Our server was very attentive. I was disappointed in the food. First of all, Pork was only option for proteins aside from one dish that had Prawns. Micro greens came out on all of our five dishes. Even the dessert. The flavor was lacking. My biggest complaint is about the prawns. When I cut into them a brown juice of some sort oozed out. I asked my server what the sauce was and his reply was “oh that’s not a sauce, that’s just what comes out of the prawn when you cut into it”. I am a chef, I have never heard that before and have never seen it. The fact that the server could not explain to me what it was left me not wanting to eat it for fear of the unknown. I had high expectations of this restaurant and I was disappointed in the menu. I know their menu changes every few months so I’m hoping their other menus are not as disappointing as this one was. I recommend calling ahead of time or checking online to see what their current menu is.
Wonderful food, amazing service!
Great food, great service. Others complained about price but I ordered every a la carte menu item, multiple drinks and spent $200 with a healthy tip included. That is not bad for a great dinner for two. I think there were 8 or 9 items and we were at our fill come the end. I think there was only one item I did not care for but to be expected when ordering the whole menu.
The only downside was the tables were elongated. It felt like I was very far away from my date and had to speak louder with the loud ambient music and other tables very close by. Did not seem very intimate. But will still go back.
The food and service was outstanding and we really loved the atmosphere. The only negative was that they were out of a couple of items on their already limited menu even though we were there early on a Friday night.
Delicious food with a variety of tastes in each bite. Skillfully plated and beautifully presented along with a great description for each dish from the wait staff. Pretty expensive, so maybe a once a year kind of special occasion.
Exceptional dinner experience! We did the tasting menu and every dish was beautifully prepared with out-of-this-world flavors - and some unique/surprising (good) ingredients/pairings. Drinks were very good as well, although, with a somewhat limited selection of higher-end vodkas for one of our guests who was a discerning martini drinker. Strongly recommend going downstairs to Hogwash Whiskey Den for a drink before or after dinner.
Probably the best service I've ever had. The food is unmatched.
I made NYE reservations via OpenTable for a party of 6.
I received a voicemail the day before confirming the reservation and mentioning the special menu, a menu based on the Chinese Year of the Pig and that it was $60/guest. The voicemail did NOT mention that that was the only dining option.
- For such a special event where there is zero flexibility on the restaurant's menu, don't allow reservations to be made via a third party vendor. Unfortunately, for our group one of our friends doesn't eat pork, and she and her partner had to leave.
The food was good, but not what I would call amazing. The presentation was nice, but overall the entire experience was a bit of a disappointment. If I knew I would be spending over $200.00 for myself and my husband for dinner, I would have opted to go to Churchill's where at least I had some control on what was served.
I enjoy eating out and have often opted to splurge for fixed menus, but showing up and being told that that was our only option was poor business acumen on the part of IPK. I'm sad because I've been to Hogwash many times and was excited to try out IPK, I'll go back and try their a la carte menu, but probably not for a long while.
Best restaurant in Spokane.
Sadly our reservation was not for the pre-fix menu. Be sure you ask for that in particular. We did have a nice meal off the al a carte menu.
We had the tasting menu and agreed it was the very best tasting menu we have enjoyed. Incredibly creative and artistic presentations. Outstanding wine pairings and very knowledgeable and engaging wine expert (Jason). We sat at the counter and enjoyed watching the two chefs prepare each item. Such care and practiced expertise. The service was perfectly timed and anticipated our needs throughout the meal. We’ll look forward to many more meals at this fine restaurant.
Delicious small plates, especially the wagyu. 3 of 4 dishes were superb, and the 4th, blowfish, was good; just the mushrooms were bland.
A special evening for two couples. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend . . . and, WOW! What a great surprise. Everything about our dinner was an experience and very tasty!! Their combinations of ingredients (most local), textures, flavors, herbs and spices was absolutely delightful -- and something for everyone in our foursome. We were a bit fearful when we saw the menu, but our server walked us through the most delectable dining experience ever!!
Overall it was a wonderful and fun dining experience. Loved the ambiance, our waiter was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the food provided taste experiences you don't find everywhere. However, IPK is not for everyone. You have to go into it knowing you're going to be served a wide variety of taste flavors, some of which you would never dream of combining. Most of them were delicious, but some were just a little too different. It is on the spendy side and you don't get a whole lot of food on their small plates. We didn't leave hungry, but we didn't feel overly full either (maybe that's a plus!). I recommend this place for a trendy and different eating experience.
The food portions were VERY small and it was WAY too expensive. We had 4 adults and brought 2 bottles of wine understanding there would be corkage. Our tab WITHOUT tip was $750??!!😳😳
Each course was incredible and the service was attentive and timely. Well done on the cocktails as well. Very good experience.
We started with the smoked cauliflower soup and it was phenomenal. And the great food just kept coming. We ordered everything off of the a la carte menu and everything was beautifully plated, well seasoned, and very tasty! The pancetta, the salmon, and the wagyu dishes were especially excellent. Service was attentive and they paced the meal very well. As always, drinks by Simon paired well with dinner.
When I called to make a reservation, I also informed the staff that I'm a fat-free vegan. I received a call several hours later asking for more information. When we went to the restaurant the food was individually prepared by the chef to meet our dietary restrictions. It was absolutely wonderful food, thoughtfully and carefully prepared. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
This small plate restaurant was a big surprise and a pleasant one. The food and service were outstanding. We were told that the roasted cauliflower, dusted with chocolate had been in development for a year. The scallop was delicious. My husband loved the beef. I wish this place were closer to our home. We would go there often.h
My wife and I love food. We've traveled all over the world and experienced lots of cuisine. The Pacific Inland Kitchen is a beautiful restaurant with a hip vibe. We celebrated my wife's 30th birthday and had a wonderful time. Top 5 best meals of my life. Wonderful!
Amazing service and love the venue went to hogwash first downstairs and then to dinner
The selection is fresh and wagyu is a must try
Great for special date or business dropped by the next day just to the bar so good
The tasting menu was poor. The flavors were light at best, bland at worst. The $500 meal (after tip) was lacking in both flavor and creativity.
The location is hard to find. We called for directions and the phone went unanswered. When we entered, we were hopeful based on the ambiance and Sous vide machines. Unfortunately, this was amateur hour in a cocktail setting.
Not impressed, and the rent saved on the location will not offset the revenue one hopes to obtain with a total of 8 guests over a 3 hour period.
These prices compare to WD50 (RIP NYC), Daniel (Michelin Star NYC), and even Alinea (Michelin RIP Chicago) with the bland taste of a home cook with the Molecular Gastronomy Cookbook Series. Skip it, or do the tasting plates.
Delicious, creative food comes from inspired chef and staff at IPK! We enjoyed fresh stone fruits with milk crumble with curry cream...never wld have dreamed up ourselves! Delicious ideas.
Excellent, tasty, creative, fresh ingredient food; and attentive
service. One of the best meal we've ever had. We found it online as we were overnighting in Spokane coming from BC Canada A 40th anniversary to remember. A must go and try if you like great food.
Lucky to have found it.
Best dining experience I've had in a long time. For my husband's birthday, we treated ourselves to the ten-course tasting menu with wine pairings and it did not disappoint. The food was creative, delicious, served elegantly; each portion was just the right size. Jason explained the nuance of every dish, and provided us with excellent wine pairings from the best champagne I've ever had, through a series of white wines, delicious reds, and ending with two dessert wines. We sat at the bar, which was cozy and comfortable, with a perfect view of the two chefs working their magic in the kitchen. Simon the bartender was friendly - alas, we didn't have any of his handcrafted cocktails on this occasion, but I would definitely recommend his handiwork. The atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful - the jazz playing in the background was perfect. This is a perfect spot for a celebratory meal, or a cocktail and a taste off the ala carte menu. My favorite restaurant in Spokane!
Very good food great ambiance! Quiet and comfortable! Excellent wine!
A wonderful addition to Spokane. After dining here three times our only concern/complaint was that the “canned” music was so loud our group could not enjoy their meal or conversation. Should be easy to fix.
We love this place. Innovative local menu, delicious food.
Inventive, progressive, and delicious. Second time there in 2 months and was equally impressed.
We came in during the vegan menu and LOVED it! Super fun and innovative. The drinks were incredible. Our only complaint would be that it looked like the table next to us was eating foie - not vegan and not even super ethical but we understand that business' have to do what they have to to stay competitive. Maybe seat the vegans further away. ; ) Loved the concept and willingness to be more plant based!
Inland Pacific Kitchen serves absolutely the most delicious beautiful food! I highly recommend the tasting menu and the accompanying wine parings, Jason Sommelier in training was spot on with his choices for our group. Chef Jeremy Hansen created an amazing sampling of dishes for us. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience!!! Not suitable for small children or people who are not willing to try new things.
We had a wonderful experience. The drinks were fantastic and the food was beautiful. The service was great, too; very warm, inviting, and friendly.
Best fine dining restaurant in Spokane, WA. Chef Jeremy Hansen uses fresh ingredients from locally sourced farms and finds a creative and whimsical way of showcasing its flavors. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant for families with small children. This is definitely a restaurant for adults and those who fancy themselves as "foodies".
Chef/owner Jeremy Hansen is absolutely incredible! The menu changes are fun and his food left me in tears it was so good. The best meal my husband and I have ever had, and it was a vegan menu and we are NOT vegans...you must try this treasure.
Best meal in Spokane. Can't wait to come back. Planning on every 6-8 weeks as the menu changes.
So happy that a friend recommended Inland Pacific Kitchen. Relaxing but contemporary vibe. Extremely knowledgeable staff. Tasting menu was divine! Highly recommend to people who appreciate creative flavors and really beautiful presentation.
