   Had a great time! Our server was very nice and attentive and the food was just great. We’ll surely come again.

   It was a small group for my birthday on the outdoor patio and we absolutely loved our evening at INKO! From the attentive service to the EXCELLENT food to the tasty (&stiff) drinks – everything was a hit. Our server had such good energy and was always checking to make sure we were happy & comfortable. They didn't have any desserts that night, so she even brought me a shot on the house for my birthday. She was extremely attentive, but with the perfect balance of letting us enjoy our evening. Now onto THE FOOD: let's just start with A++++ We order a bit of everything, but the standout was 100% the juicy, fall-off-the-bone, sweet & savory robata baby back ribs. Honestly, I won't go on just order them. You can't go here without trying these! The salmon was also super flavorful and perfectly flaky/tender. The edamame was a basic, but perfect start. The next big highlight was the sushi selection. Although somewhat limited every roll we order was a delicious bite! We had all three fish maki: spicy tuna, raw salmon, and chirashi. The spicy tuna, a sushi classic, was simple and fresh. The chirashi was yummy and provided a good mix. However, THE RAW SALMON was the star of all the maki. Second only to the ribs this is a must! It was fresh & bright and honestly just such a good bite. To round it out we had the sweetcorn as a side - yes because we needed more food. It was good, but not a wow. Finally, we accompanied the meal with some delicious and stiff drinks. The Palomita was my personal favorite and definitely what you want if you're a tequila person. The Japanese inspired Nori Old Fashion was smooth and warming. I can't stand aperol, but was told the INKO Spritz was refreshing! All in all this was a perfect night out. The costs was reasonable and the ambiance was perfect. My best piece of advice? GO HERE ...and order the ribs!

   I will review everything I ordered Friday night (11/13/2020) 1. Snacks: Kimchi Solid kimchi with chives on top. Basic but with the good fermented salty taste. Fresh and inexpensive. 2. Makis (sushi rolls): Chirashi, dungeness crab Chirashi/mixed sashimi was solid. Well worth it. The crab was basically a fancier crab roll, almost a California roll. Crab is fresh and of good quality, however the roll was still very underwhelming. Not convinced if rolls mesh well with the rest of the menu tbh. 3. Sides: Cauliflower, steamed rice with furikake, sweetcorn, kimchi rice Cauliflower arrived last and after all main entrees, makis, sides, etc. Solid flavors though the parmesan dominated everything else. Steamed rice with furikake is self explanatory. Only get it if you really want white rice to compliment. $4 is ridiculous. Kimchi rice: Best side by far. Kimchi with scallions and raw egg yolk mixed together. Very delicious. Good side despite the $11 price. Sweetcorn: Okay. Nothing special. 1 corn cut into 4 pieces with chili butter and a like to squeeze. Not worth $9 4. Robata Grill: Hamachi collar, baby back ribs, 10 oz black angus ribeye, 6 oz wagyu burger Hamachi collar was very good. Favorite item of the night by far. Tender fish (yellowtail) would absolutely have gotten 2 of these. Baby back ribs had meat that somehow slightly came off the bone but was not tender and dry once chewed. Very odd and there was a lack of glaze. Less nuts and more glaze please. Biggest disappointment of the night. Black angus ribeye was tender. Not as fatty as most other ribeyes but the ponzu mixture for dipping was good. Solid choice to order. 6 oz wagyu burger is a total finesse. The truffle mayo is phenomenal however and fries were very crispy. Dont get this it is a total shame. Overall I rate this establishment a 6/10. Great ambience and outdoor seating however the price is a shame for the quality. Do order drinks though!

   1) they have a limited COVID menu so know that before you go 2) it’s getting cool now (by LA standards) so they need to beef up their outdoor heaters. The vertical flames they have sparsely spaced in between tables isn’t enough. Those look nice and are adequate for a bar patio if folks are standing next to them but do nothing for seated guests. They really need to invest in either directional IR heaters or the typical patio heater with a circular top that redirects heat down.

   I guess the food was O.K. My biggest disappointment was that many of the items I saw on their Website menu was not available. They are now working off a COVID19 menu. Very limited. Definitely a bummer. I won't be back until they have their full menu back.

   This was my first time coming to this restaurant and the food was great! Although I had to wait 25 minutes to get seated. That was a bummer. Despite that, I had a good time.

   Maybe because it was Halloween weekend, but it was packed. Had to wait an extra 30 minutes after our reservation time because there were no tables available and our party of 3 was put at a small table clearly meant for 2 people. The menu was also missing a lot of the dishes we normally enjoyed from the restaurant. The ambiance was great however and the wait staff was very forthcoming and told us their kitchen was backed up so we would need to order all at once. It was a good place to enjoy some well lit, ambient outdoor dining and as long as you dont expect unreasonable perfection during this pandemic, you will enjoy your time here

    So glad they are open and operating again. Food was delish and the drinks were great! Their maki (salmon avocado and their special crab maki) were delicious! Thank you!
