The restaurant was nice and quiet. Every single item we consumed down to the drinks was delicious! I will definitely be going there again.
Excellent food and large portions! If you ask for spicy, you get SPICY! Definitely recommended. You want to try so many different things, and that can pricey pretty fast; so pace yourself.. it is definitely a place worth going back to, so try a dish or two now and then try something else on your next visit or you'll go broke in one sitting!
THe service was phenomenal but the food was okay. The fact that it was byob was good. The place itself is nice but it’s Not likely I would return.
Absolutely recommend. Fantastic space for intimate dinner, family dinner, or party. Environment is clean and welcoming. The entire staff make all customers feel like VIP. The staff is genuine, professional, polite, and thorough. They take great care of those with allergies. The food is authentic and delicious. Portions match the cost. The overall experience makes eating here absolutely worth it. Enjoy!
Absolutely recommend Inkanto! Great for relaxed family dinners, gathering place for friends, and location for parties. Family friendly music plays, matching the theme. Televisions visible for sports and cooking shows. My family and I found this location by chance. Now we look for reasons to go. The location is family run, which positively spills over into the service. All staff are professional and welcoming. We always feel like VIPs when we go. The food is authentic and delicious. Everything is cooked to perfection. The price matches the portions. The staff is also very thorough regarding dietary restrictions and allergies. This is a "must experience" restaurant. Enjoy!
Went with a party of 10 for Mother’s Day and got great service. Food was typical Peruvian and was tasty at a great price. Nice atmosphere, more upscale than casual.
First time eating here. Pleasantly surprised. Food was very good. Service was friendly and attentive. Will be back!
Amazing. The food was great. I didn’t need the reservation, but I’m glad we went. We will go again.
Wonderful restaurant with great staff and exceptional food. We will be back often.
Only one complaint; why the TV sets? They are ugly and distracting. No one was watching them but they distract one’s attention and detract from the atmosphere. Please consider removing them.
The food here is always very good. I would make one suggestion and that would be to season the plain white rice. It is too bland with no seasonings. Otherwise, everything was excellent. My sea bass was baked to perfection. The appetizers are also excellent. This was our second visit and I will definitely go there again!
Yum as always; this place never disappoints. SO many other Peruvian restaurants in the area have closed recently; it's a comfort to know that INKANTO is still going strong. Love the fact that you can add avocado to ANY entree. Desserts are always exceptional.
Enjoyed our meal a Inkanto. Service was a bit slow at the beginning of the meal, but not enough to be problematic. All four diners had seafood or fish dishes, and all were very good.
Food and service was okay. I liked it more before they changed ownership. The previous owner is still the cook until she retires. Might go downhill after that.
It was quiet during lunch time on Sunday.. for a party of 3, the prices was a bit higher than expected. About $75. Regardless, all the food that we got was delicious and authentic. The waitress was attentive and was very quick with getting us refills on sauces, etc. Would definite revisit and check it out during dinner time.. oh. And it’s a BYOB. Great...
This was out first visit and my children's first attempt at Peruvian food and they were very happy . Restaurant is open and bright feels a bit impersonal but after that there are no negatives( well a bar would be nice ) . The appetizers alone can give you a great meal the empanadas were perfect and the shrimp soup was enough for 2 . Every main course was tasty but did not come out quick and seemed like the waitress needed help alone in the whole place.
Try It though you will enjoy it
The food was amazing, very authentic. You can actually taste the love in every dishes
Had a great time . The service was super . The waitress helped us pick out dinner . All kinds of Latin food , not just Peruvian . Entertainment was great “ the sharks “ we be going back . Good prices too . The food was pretty good too
The band wasn’t that great and way too loud to hear others at the table and we were a bit away the sangria was delicious the ceviche was really good my chicken was super greasy and a tad chewy other then that the food was good , the waitress seemed like she was Having s bad day but gave us ok service otherwise I’f you want food for not a bad price more of a low key family place then sure
We were greeted by our very friendly server right away. She offered to explain anything on the menu. The ambience was great. The food was delicious! Good sized portions for the price! Will definitely go back!
Got a confirmed reservation for 8:45 pm got there on time, only to find out the kitchen was closed!
Drove a bit to get there...very disappointing
Food & service were great. Will definitely be visiting again.
I'm sure this place is great for family members and friends of the family, but 2 entrees and 2 apps plus tip ran us about $100. We got rice. Not much else, but various iterations of rice. The staff was very nice, but for the price, it was a first and last.
Very good food. The soup wonderful. Exquisit
Excellent service. We will back in our way to shore
Staff friendly and attentive to customers. Food delicious and reasonably priced.
Food and service was excellent! Great place for a casual meal with upscale food.
This is probably the first Latin American fusion restaurant that I've officially been to; but it shouldn't be. After all, it you like meat, chicken, rice, beans --and who doesn't--then you'll find yourself in good hands at Inkanto. A good place to bring a huge party. Everything we had was enjoyable.
We decided we wanted to try a new restaurant... so we searched online and found Inkanto. This was a wonderful find...we brought tequila and ordered a fresh margarita mix to go with it that was crisp and tart. The meal was fabulous, do not miss the mussels in green sauce (two of the four of us ordered it) while my husband had the ceviche appetizer. For an entree he had the Bouillabaisse while I had the shrimp with pasta both delicious. For desserts we ordered one apple pie a la mode, a yellow cake with cream, a light and airy pastry with cream and soft cookies all delicious. The staff were attentive and friendly and the owner is there to great you. Loved it!
Great night and the reinvented Inkanto. The food is as good as ever, but there is a new spirit, a new vibe along with a new owner.
On a happening Saturday night with a couple of big tables, the service was a bit uneven, but most of the food was amazing! The Choros a la Chalaca, a cold mussel appetizer, is one of the best in New Jersey. Fresh large mussels topped with tons of onions, tomatoes and cilantro...YUM. The Chicharron de Cerdo, (pork) was delicious as was the beef empanada.
All in all we had a great time and highly recommend this Hazlet gem of a restaurant!!
The food was delicious, we came for ceviche and we were not disappointed. The four of us shared meals, everything we are was delicious. The seafood with green rice was my favorite. I will definitely be back and looking forward to seeing this place grow!
