My friend and I had terrible experience. Anoing waiter, in the middle of the dinner some character approach as to ask if we had a reservation. Thank God we did. My food was dry from overcooking. I will not recommend anybody that place.

My go-to spot for lunch and drinks after work. It gets crowded during summer months so you need to get there early. There also appears to be limited number of seats available- I’ve been there often where we literally stand on the roped off platform with no place to rest my drink or my bags, which is uncomfortable. But the food is great for lunch so make a reservation.

This is a restaurant that is probably fine in tourist summer months, but as high end diners we were aware we did not do our due diligence. My guests were polite, but we went home and ordered in to the hotel.

Met my family, who drove in from NJ, for an early dinner (for the kids' sake). I was told when I booked the reservation that we'd need to give up the table at 6:30. What we weren't told was that the restaurant would start setting up for an event at 6:30, and that, due to the event, the regular dinner menu was not available. This left us with appetizers, soups, salads, and pizzas. The food we ordered was very good, but the restaurant should have made this clear to anyone making a reservation.

Very nice meal, pizzas were crisp and delicious. Cheese fries were delicious also but a bit pricey for a tiny portion. Service was great and we were seated promptly at our reservation time. Will definitely go back.

Nice restaurant but can do better in terms of service. First, the reservation done through OpenTable was not found -- even though I received confirmation. Second, they took our order but kept us waiting for a long time. Food, once it came, was fine.

The service was excellent as my water cup was never empty and my meal was delicious. I got the salmon and butternut squash mash which was incredible. The view was amazing as well.

We had a great evening at Industry Kitchen. We ate a bit on the early side (6:30), but that allowed us to watch the sun set and the lights come up on Brooklyn. The view is spectacular. We greatly enjoyed the kale salad, wood-fired pizza, and hanger steak with wonderful potato curls (crispy but not greasy because they aren't fried). We never made it to dessert. Tip: Ask for bread for the table. It was excellent dipping it in oil or eating with some blistered shishito peppers. We'll be back.

Great atmosphere but my braised lamb, although it fell off the bone, was swimming in thick sauce so the taste was a bit hidden. My companions enjoyed their dishes though - grilled lemon chicken and smoked salmon pizza. Music was a bit loud as well - as is the case of so many establishments in NYC. I wish business owners appreciated that people want to converse as they eat... waitstaff was excellent though!

A bit overpriced, the food portions were on the small side and standard drinks were pricier than other bars in the area. They boast a waterfront view yet block off 2/3 of that "best" view for frequently rented out bar seating. We were sat at a table of 12 (bench seating only) for a work party and they put us right next to the make-shift skate park. We were subjected to loud, non-stop noise from skateboarders and dirt bikers attempting to perform tricks on a nearby bench. For those prices, the restaurant should be better about blocking out more of the noise (they could put up a property line barrier of greenery for example) or warn people before they sit down. We were there for the event for over 4 1/2 hrs and the rotation of skaters and bikers was continuous.

This is the second time we've visited Industry Kitchen. My sister and brother in law were visiting NYC, we wanted to take them to a scenic restaurant. Industry Kitchen fit the bill.

The food and the service was excellent. My family and I had a great time and enjoyed everything. The pot of mussels was flavorful and cooked to perfection. It was so good that two of my family members who have never had mussels are now converts. All the appetizers we ordered as well as our entrees came in a timely manor. I would definitely go back.

It’s a great view but the food is pre-fab, the seafood was not fresh, and the pasta was off the mark. Would not go again based solely on the food.

The overall experience was nothing negivative. I just wasn't happy with the cocktail selection and the main courses. The Grilled Hanger Steak was ok, nothing that special. And the Lamb wasn't good...at all, also it wasn't served like how we saw it online. Our waiter so nice though, I wish he told us his name.

Nice place to eat given the setup (open air, outside, beautiful view of the river) but the food was pretty basic. My wife and I had a chorizo omelette which was tasty but very small and a goat cheese + arugula + wild mushroom pizza, which was disappointing. The toppings were tasty and plentiful, but the dough itself was dry and dense. It tasted like it had been bought at a grocery store...Service was good overall but don't think we will visit again.

My first time dining at Industry Kitchen. The food was very good - nice sized portions. The view is amazing - you can see the boats come and go and great for people watching. Wait staff was pretty good - although a bit hard to find our waiter at times while there. Did not like the loud music - I couldn't hear my friend speaking and we felt like we needed to shout to hear each other. I also was not a big fan of their clear plastic glass wear - too many scratches it looks old, dirty and over used. They should invest in glass which gives a much better impression. Overall, a good experience and I would go back.

A great addition to the Seaport District, definitely snag a seat outside so you can look at the Hudson and people-watch. Some of the menu items are gimmicky but they have a strong cocktail list and good appetizers.

Even though the restaurant was packed, we were able to talk and hear each other - always a delight when it's a friends' reunion. Service was amazing, terrific waiter (Josh) and the setting is unbeatable. Only down was that we had to request bread, and that was an extra charge but we'll all definitely return there. In fact, one friend reserved the same place for a date later that evening.

The setting and views could not be more pleasant, but the food was bland at best. The industry salad with fennel was the best thing. The pizzas were undercooked and flavorless. The grilled cauliflower was flavorless. Even the potatoes with cheese (how do you mess that up?) were flavorless.

I suppose with lovely open space and a view of downtown Brooklyn means that the food can be mediocre. So know what you're paying for: the setting and views, not the food.

Nice place on the waterfront pier 15 area. Good wine and pizza's are unusual. Alligator? Apricot?
One was gold leaf for only $2,000 and 2 days notice. I guess they have to plant and water the gold leaves. Other foods were not expensive.

Good for brunch and drinks/small plates. We ordered the French toast and omelets and a spinach pizza. The pizza is supermarket freezer quality-don't waste your money. They don't even make the crust. It looks pre-fab and they just slap on the toppings-disappointing. The omelets and French toast were great though.
