Industry Kitchen offers modern American cuisine based on seasonal market ingredients and simply prepared dishes such as abundant salads and wood oven grilled meats and pizza.
Complimenting all menu choices is a wide variety of craft beers, signature cocktails and an extensive wine list.
You can’t beat the view. Great place in the summer.
This restaurant is gorgeous! Right on the East River with outdoor seating. The food was amazing as well! Highly recommend the sweet potato and bacon pizza.
This was my 2nd time eating here and the experience was better than the first, and my first experience was great!
Good location and great bloody Mary's! Portions were a little skimpy vs. cost.
The location is great with a very pretty view of the river plus we had a great server but the food was meh. We had pizza, salad and the cauliflower all of which were disappointing.
Lovely location by the water with great views. However sitting "outside" would have been very noisy due to the nearby heliport. Our res was for 2pm - after the lunch rush so there was space available inside, and not too crowded where wanted to sit. Service was pleasant enough and competent, if a little distracted. Menu and drink choices were good, tasty and sufficient, prices as expected for the neighborhood.
I was searching for a brunch spot with a view, not too fancy, but more than a diner. Industry Kitchen was perfect from the view of the water to the smiling hostess then on to the prompt service and the lobster omelette!! So good-- planning on going back next Sunday too.
We had a very, very difficult time finding the location - we suggest you do not use the google map available in the Open Table app as the location was inaccurate and we walked about 1/2 mile too far and then had to turn back and were late for our reservation. Luckily, the service at this place is great and the young woman I kept speaking to on the phone as we tried to find the restaurant was very patient and happy to see us when we finally arrived. The location is actually lovely - right on the water and a perfect spot if you are down in the south street seaport area. They have a full bar (we really needed a drink after our very long walk) and we enjoyed our appetizers (grilled octopus and blistered shishitos). My husband was pleased they had a gluten free (and vegan) pizza option. In the warm weather I would bet it is fabulous to be able to sit outside.
Left waiting for 20 mins after OT booking. Food was average.
The food at Industry Kitchen was good. We had brunch and there was much to choose from. Our omelets were fine. The star at this restaurant is the view! We ate outside and it was a beautiful day. Enjoyed watching the ferries and just taking in the fresh air and sun. Service was attentive and friendly. I would go back and recommend it to friends.
The hostesses had attitudes but the food, service and location were great. Right on the water. A little pricey but it’s the city.
Beautiful views. Great food and service. Highly recommend.
Industry Kitchen is in a beautiful location on the seaport. The ambience was very lovely. We had a beautiful view of the water. The service was quite good, from the waitress to the bussers. Unfortunately the food was just not good. We ordered 4 different pizzas & the crust was very dry & thick. It tasted like a cracker. They were also pretty bland & lacking flavor. The drinks were excellent, although pricey. I probably would only return for drinks and maybe an appetizer.
Really yummy brunch in a great location! Server was prompt and there when needed, but otherwise left us to catch up. Especially impressed because the restaurant opens at 11am and they seemed to fill up a large restaurant right away - and we still got our food (everything correct, at the same time, at the correct temperature) in great time. Highly recommend!
View is beautiful of the Seaport and for people watching. Ate pizza with alligator popcorn. Delish and innovative. Value priced. Great place for dates or larger get together. Will definitely return.
I decided to try this restaurant as it was close to a boat trip we were taking later that evening. From the start the staff we encountered were not very friendly. The food tasted good and had a nice presentation, however, it was way over priced with very small portions. Our server made us feel very unwelcome. The water glass I received had someone’s lipstick still on it. I asked my server for a clean one and didn’t even receive an apology...she actually seemed bothered that I made the request. It just was not a good experience. The unisex bathrooms also was not something my 78 year old mom appreciated.
What a great find! It was a beautiful day so wanted to dine on the water. Great drinks, food and views. Would definitely recommend!
Good view. Food is ok. Environment is nice. Great for summer to have brunch
Someone once told me that the quality of food in a place was inversely proportionate to the quality of the view. This place disproves this. Great ambience, food, service and location. A mix of tourists and local Wall Street types. Awesome!!
It was a great experience. Appetizers & drinks at bar were great. Bartender was excellent. Dinner was great & outside dining was excellent !
The music was deafening and somewhat ruined the experience. If not for that it would have been much better. Food was pretty good, the waitress was lovely, design is beautiful.
Tasty cocktails and good food (Garlic bread, watermelon salad, grilled calamari , cheesecake). Went on a Friday evening, it was not too crowded, the view on Brooklyn is nice and even the sound of highway above our heads was not disturbing :) would definitely recommend
Wonderful place for brunch or lunch... (probably dinner and drinks too.. just haven't had a chance to do them yet. ). Salads are excellent (especially kale), pizza yummy. Perfect if you are travelling on the East River ferry.
Food was outstanding
Great place down by the water to get drinks or grab a bite. The view was fantastic, service was good, the food was solid, and the prices weren’t outrageous—especially considering where we were. Definitely would go again.
Go to spot in FiDi
Great views of the river but you really cannot see the bridges as stated. Had the prosciutto apricot pizza which was great and shishito peppers which were good but had to sent back for more fire. Drinks were ample but typically expensive. Lively and family-friendly. Nice night on the river.
Celebrate Chinese Mid Autumn Festival
The grilled calamari salad was a bit of a misnomer; more like a grain bowl with calamari. Delicious calamari; just not much salad.
This restaurant came highly recommended and did not disappoint. We enjoyed beautiful outdoor seating. A nice casual setting with amazing and tasty dishes.
Loved the cauliflower app, kale salad & burrata pizza!
Great Sunday brunch by the water.
Good spot for outdoor meal by the water, food was very good, though service was hit or miss.
Fun summer cocktails and great food! Good for a sunny day by the water.
Hostress was extremely rude. Would not let us go to our table because they overbooked and other guest “booked more in advanced”
The Southstreet Seaport has had its ups and downs but lately it looks like its back on track. Industry Kitchen is a great addition to the riverside complex. Super casual with terrific service and an all American menu. The best part of dining there is the ample outdoor seating with views of the East River and Brooklyn. Come hungry and leave satisfied.
We had cocktails and pizza outside on a nice evening. Excellent service - they accommodated 12 of us in a group. Great views across the water. Good pizza and cocktails, and small but good selection of wines and beers available. A little pricey but not a surprise for a NY spot.
I made a reservation and it was not honored. I arrived to see a family sitting where I was supposed to be. I was not happy about that. There was also lint in my beverage.
Great experience overall.
Beautiful spot at South Street Seaport - right on the water/promenade! Perfect day so that made all the difference. Service is very pleasant but a bit too fast. We were there for brunch and our omelets were pretty dry but nicely presented. I like their $25 corkage fee so I could bring my own champagne to celebrate my sister's birthday!
