Indulge Bistro & Wine Bar Ratings and Reviews
Had a Groupon for a bottle of house wine and either the Margarita or Tony Soprano flatbread. We got the house red which was quite nice and had the Margarita flatbread, followed by the fig and arugula flatbread; both flatbreads were delicious. Since we were still hungry, we ordered the crab cakes because we had heard they were good. They were satisfying, more crab than bread, and tasty . We'll definitely be back, Indulge is a great neighborhood restaurant.
we have been her several times- usually very very satisfied... excellent food an wine lists- both appetizers and main courses varied and well prepared.. so it was a surprise to have indifferent service- slow and not very attentive.. and to have to send a main dish back because of hair in the food... a shocker... still, given that we have visited in the area of a half dozen times, and were never disappointed till this visit- are willing to chalk it up to an unusual off night and give it another chance over the holiday season
This was our first visit. We invited friends who live near Cherry Creek. We wanted them to know that Highlands Ranch has some unique gems, too. The atmosphere was nice and the food was wonderful. The service; however, was inattentive. Perhaps someone called in sick? We’ll try it again, but our first time fell short of expectations.
We had a reservation for 5:45PM on a Saturday night. It took a while for someone to take our drink order and once placed it was at least 15-20 minutes before the drinks arrived. The waiter said the bar was backed up and apologized a few times for the delay. The food was a bit faster but not much considering we just got appetizers. Everyone at our table was served, and my chicken wings eventually showed up later. It appeared they were delivered to the wrong table. We've had decent experiences in the past but this time was a complete turn-off, especially considering how expensive this place is. I walked out wishing we'd eaten next door at Noodles & Company and saved the money.....
Our server was great in spite of the fact that the place was very busy. The flatbread with fig (the fig seemed to be missing) was dry. The sliders were excellent. It was dark where we were sitting and hard to read a menu. This was our first time but would try again.
My reservation was cancelled via phone call because they decided to close down the kitchen before we even arrived. They gave us a 40 minute heads up so we could make other plans, but when a restaurant advertises certain hours, it shouldn't be so hard to stick to them.
We didn’t make it in time for Happy Hour, but we will try it again! The outside fire pit was going, and it was cozy both inside and out. Wines by the glass are a little pricey, but good selection. Had the Ahi guacamole appetizer, and red pepper bisque. Both excellent! Jeremy was great at multitasking behind the bar, and managing some tables.
Ordered a Greek salad to go; and it wasn’t too exciting. Everything else was great. It seems as if there are “regulars” who dine and drink there.
The ambiance cannot be beat - nice lighting, great seating, just a fun place. The wine was great and reasonably priced however the food was just ok. We ordered two flatbreads and the crust was soggy on both - they tasted like they were frozen. We also got the ahi guac, which was very good. I would recommend this place, just get something other than the flatbreads.
Me and the hubs came in on the Groupon of 1 flatbread pizza and a bottle of wine. This is the 2nd time I have been here with that Groupon and both times I have been very pleased with the vibe of the restaurant, the service and the wonderful food. We also ordered the calamari app and it rocked! It had a sweet spicy red chili sauce drizzled over the perfectly crispy cooked calamari. My mouth is watering as I type this just thinking about it. The flat bread pizza is very good too. I need to come back without the Groupon so I can try some of their other options. I would definitely recommend to all Groupon people and anyone interested in a good vibe, good food and good service. We will definitely be back!
Indulge Bistro surpassed my expectations. The food was incredible and we enjoyed everything we ordered. The charcuterie tray was great. The Meatballs with the pesto marinara were the best meatballs I have had in a long time and the sauce was fantastic. Excellent wine selection.
I will first day I really do love this restaurant. I do wish they hadn't decided (because they had a slow week) to send staff home in a Saturday night. My parents are diabetic and we had 2 kids with us and waited for food over 45 minutes. I overheard the explanation for the time delay, wish we could have been told as well as a professional courtesy. I'm not a complainer, I know how tough this industry is. This restaurant is really awesome and makes phenomenal gluten free bread. I'll keep the possibility of a wait in mind in future planning but will definitely be happy to come back.
I met three friends here for a late lunch/early dinner and to use a Groupon. The server, I wish I could remember her name, was a delight. Very knowledgeable of the wine, which is great being that this is a wine bar.
I ordered the Tony Soprano flat bread pizza and substituted the marinara for the spicy marinara they have on the Mexican flat bread. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy . The spicy marinara was an excellent choice. One of the gals had the guacamole with rare tuna chunks on top. It was absolutely delicious. Another had the bruschetta which was a very nice light option. The third got the sliders with sweet potato fries. I'm normally not a sweet potato fan, but they were super crispy with sea salt and garlic salt on them and couldn't stop eating them. We all shared each other's food and had great girl time together. Great experience and I will definitely be back. Just not sure when as it is kind of far from my home.
Overall I love this place but it's pretty pricey, especially for the wine. The tables are a little crowded too and even though I made reservation well in advance we got sat next to the outside door and had wind all the time. They really shouldn't have a table there. We shared the Greek salad and chicken gnocchi which was perfect for us. The cream sauce was wonderful so I have absolutely no complaints about the food. I think the place is just a little too small for the area and amount of people in highlands ranch. They have a great HH. Recommend it overall!
All visits to Indulge prior to this visit were fantastic. We love the flat bread pizza and wine selection. We arrived a little bit before our reservations on Friday May 5th and the hostess advised us that we would need to wait approximately 20 to 30 minutes to be seated. Once seated and after about fifteen minutes of waiting (not even any water), I went to the hostess and asked if we could have someone come over to out table. Another five minutes later, our waitress did come over to take our order. Our drinks and food took quite some time to arrive as well, but we didn't tract the time. The food was fantastic as usual. We could not help but notice that there were other people looking up and waiting for service as well. Hope this was an anomaly.
We requested a nice table due to our 39th anniversary through Open Table. Instead we were shown to a two top in a traffic area. Our server, Steve, was slow to respond--as if he was doing something else more important ( he may have been setting up for a party at the same time )-- he also charged us $45 for a $30 bottle wine . Dinner was a two hour experience for an appetizer and entrée only. dinner was a two hour experience bring appetizer and entrée only. The busboy brought our appetizer by just dropping it on the table and looking the other way. The busboy brought our appetizer by just dropping it on the table and looking the other way. The food was delicious, but we found gluten free options were limited .
Had a party of 5 and we all enjoyed the setting and mountain view. What a great patio! Some of our entrees were salmon and pork chops and both were really good. One of our party had the chicken gnocchi and she thought the chicken was a little chewy. Our server, Victoria was great. Will definitely return.
