Darryl greeted me at the door, and Liz was our waitperson. They did a great job. Food was great. It was snowing, so not many people in the restaurant yesterday.
We had an excellent server, Lucas, who was able to help the vegan in our party navigate the menu. He was well-informed, and the vegan in our group had a lovely, tasty meal. Another in our party was gluten-free and had many options available.
It was just ok. Beans were cold. Fish was so so. Limited menu on Valentine's day. Usually it is better. Was a bit disappointed.
First, let me say that we frequent Indulge and we will continue to patronize it. They have a fabulous Happy Hour and their appetizers are great. Saying that, this experience was very dissapointing. We ordered 2 salads, planning on splitting them both. The Salmon salad was close to inedible. The salmon had no seasoning but so much mayonaisse that the salmon was lost. No other part of the salad was seasoned either. The steak salad was better but it was served in a very small bowl with large slices of steaks on top and a coupe of pieces of plain bread stuck on the side. The steak was near impossible to cut in the small bowl and there was no place to put the bread to attempt to eat the salad. It would have been nice if the bread had been toasted or something to make it not look like an afterthought. We ended up sharing the steak salad. The waitress ( who was charming and attentive), noticed that the salmon salad had not been touched but did not offer to take it off of our bill or replace it with something else.
This was a very off night for indulge. We will go back again, hoping it was just a one-off.
Decent spot in Golden for a cocktail and dinner. I just had the calimari as I was not all that hungry and for $14 it was definitely nothing to write home about. Overall over priced but a decent atmosphere.
Birthday dinner for 3 adults and 2 kids, everyone loved their food and wine flights. Will definitely be coming back. Wonderful cozy place on a cold night.
Great. Nice quiet birthday dinner.
The food was great. We really enjoyed our evening.
The service was excellent, very nice place. The only issue was with the kichens' ability to temp the meat. We had a steak and a burger. Steak was ordered medium and came out rare. On the refire it came back medium rare. The burger was ordered mid rare and came out seriously rare. The sides were excellent.
The charcuterie was outstanding.
Overall a good experience.
Nice place. Good food, wine and service. Value was also good.
It was quiet! We could hear ourselves talk - thank you!
Second time and this time for New Years Eve--our server was super nice and helpful. However we were only given the special new years menu and then saw others around us ordering off the other menu! I wish we had known this as the new years menu was too limited and I would have preferred using the other one. I also asked for a quiet spot and at first it was okay, but then the tables are too close together and we had very noisy neighbors.
Recommend being prepared for the noise or sitting in a better place---the food is very good though.
Generally go for Happy Hour - decided to go for New Years Eve dinner - As with many restaurants, they have little to no vegetarian choices, so I can't rate much of the food.
What I did manage to put together for a vegan dish was good - the hummus dish (which I often have at Happy hour) is WONDERFUL....they have a large wine selection and I've never had a bad wine there. Wait staff was friendly and our food came out in a reasonable time frame.
Very creative menu, reasonably priced, delicious! It was really refreshing to find so many unique menu choices. We loved everything we ordered. Special kudos to the pastry chef for her chocolate cherry cheese cake! We were just visiting the area or we would surely make this a regular dining spot.
Just so so this last Saturday afternoon. The steak salad and the salmon salad were not up to par. The Steak salad had mushy grilled onions in it, cucumbers and a lot of stuff that make it really watery and horrible. No blue cheese like I remember and a big disappointment. The salmon salad was also not up to par. Maybe Saturdays there is a different cook but it was way below what it normally is.
Great atmosphere in a beautiful downtown setting. Food options are just right!
I eat at Indulge several times a year. Happy Hour is always great. Yesterday was the first time I was truly disappointed in lunch. I chose not to make a fuss as it was a business lunch.
My $18 salad left much to be desired. The meat was either so tough you could not cut it or the knife provided was so dull you could not cut it.
I will not be returning for lunch.
We have had many good experiences at Indulge but this one was not the best. We ordered gluten free flat bread and the server brought the regular kind. When we mentioned it he seemed indifferent. The steak we ordered was very good. I think this was a service issue as most of our experiences have been very good here.
Love! Food is delicious and service impeccable!
Great ambiance for my elderly mother's birthday. She loved loved loved the gnocchi!
