Food was excellent but service is far too fast and they kept on interrupting. Without even waiting us to finish the appetizer they brought the main course. Our conversation was constantly interrupted by waiter for service, request....
Food was okay. the entrees were better than the starters. Initially the waitperson was not very pleasant and seemed very unhappy. Mid meal her attitude did improve. Hostess had zero personality and was put out that she had to retrieve our checked coats. The experience as a whole was disappointing.
We did not receive all the sharing dishes we ordered, but the last item (the special for only 16 dollars) was still added to the bill. When we pointed that out, our waiter said the kitchen insisted that it had been sent out and the waitress thought she had seen it on our table although we had not received it/eaten it/seen what it looked like. They refused to take it off the bill ultimately - basically meaning that four paying customers were lying. Worst service ever.
I have never had a meal at Indochine that I’ve enjoyed but the staff is so great, the decor such a retro delight that I always have a good time. It’s my guilty pleasure so yeah I’ll be back but not for the food. Whatever “it” is that makes you want to return to a place, Indochine has it. I’m just glad it’s still there.

Food good, very much like good Vietnamese or good Thai restaurant food from untrendy ethnic restaurant.
Too noisy for me at 71 yrs. But maybe good for young people who don't care what anyone else at the table is saying

Wonderful inventive Vietnamese food - interesting combos, tasty options. Try to go with more
than a two people to taste various offerings. The atmosphere is fun and interesting. The wait staff couldn't be more solicitous without being over bearing - and they were great looking - all of them.
We loved Indochine since it first opened in the 80s. Having lived abroad we recently revisited finding it busy as in its heighdays. Surprisingly the ambiance and design have not changed at all. The food is still enjoyable, we liked the whole crispy fish especially. Service appeared a bit stressed at times and the noise level was high.
Overpriced pour ce que c'est ! cuisine super decevante, j'y vais depuis 10 ans, ca faisait un peu plus d'un an que je n'y avais pas mis les pieds et une chose est sure, je n y retournerai pas !!
Aucun plat n etait bon, tout etait terriblement epicé (pourtant j'aime bien le piment)

I've been to Indochine multiple times in the past 25 years, but I hadn't been in the past few. I think the food is still as good as it once was; however, the service lacked any finesse at all. The servers are obviously hired based on their looks and not on their merit. None of the servers seem to be enjoying their job, nor were they helpful; in fact, most of the waitstaff seemed "out of sorts". The entire dinner service was rushed. Our 4 appetizers came out in stages, and by the time we got the fourth one, the runner was already bringing our entrées. Even after he noticed this, he just tried to push aside the dishes and ended up pushing one to the floor without even scant acknowledgment from him or the flakey waitress.
