Really delicious food that's close to theaters in the area. The staff were wonderfully helpful and welcoming. They did a great job of getting our large party out on time for our 8pm show.
Always a great evening for dinner. Love the Fluke , eggplant and green beans! Yum!
We had the pre-theatre menu. $45 was too expensive for the food provided - the appetisers were fine, but we could barely eat the entrees. The chicken was fatty and the beef was so tough we couldn’t eat it at all. I would not recommend this restaurant.
I love this restaurant because food is good and interior is great but the waitress who served us were not friendly at all even so scarely. She is tall and like a model but she is o stucked up!
Otherwise very good!
Delicious dishes especially the skirt steak. Ambiance hip and super loud with some level of pretentious people. Servers and host are in a chill vibe and don’t seem happy most likely due to the small dining area and cramped feeling. Fun music and cool decor. A dining experience worth having since the food truly is scrumptious
Very nice place. Prices are high, but the food is excellent. Service was mediocre. Nevertheless we enjoyed the evening and would go there again :-)
Food was great but the service really sucked. For such a place, the waitress did not check back on us, in fact we were ignore most of the time. I added on the special requests on open table that it was my friends birthday. We did not at all got a birthday song nor anything while two tables down they were singing happy birthday.
Nice place with fancy ambient and good quality food. We tried also cocktails ad they were balanced.
Service was good and noise level acceptable. Asian cuisine is mixed with modern influence. Portions are not very abundant but you will leave Indochine satisfied. Definitely recommended.
Already did to friends the next day. The food was amazing.
Great hot spot with a lot of personality and excellent cuisine.
I've had a better food there. It was very standard.
Indochine is legendary for so many reasons & always an absolute pleasure. For me, it’s their excellence in service & quality that create an unforgettable dining experience every time... even when my family was the very last to check-in late last night.
There are so very few restaurants in the World that capture a magical essence of unpretentious glamour, Indochine has perfected it.
Of all the top restaurants I've been to in NY, (including Balthazar, Wayan, Waverly Inn, La Mercerie, and many others) Indochine remains my top top favorite! It is a classic NY staple and if you can get a table, it is a MUST! Indochine is the quintessential NY restaurant. - Michael Tronn
Still a gorgeous room even after years, with terrific service, a lively and glamorous ambiance and better than average food. A lovely place to meet friends or bring a date.
As always Indochine is delicious and so elegant.
It’s like being in a Bond movie
Overpriced for the food they are dishing up. Decent scene and cocktails but that’s about it.
Average at best.
Really good food, overpriced with a very high noise level !
It's a classic institution of NYC dining scene. The food and drink is always good, its always a great place to be.
Have always loved Indochine, I've been twice in the past month and the one thing I have found is that the service and food is very rushed, I understand if its fully booked and they need the table, but the appetizers come out less than 5 min after ordering and they bring the entrees while the appetizers are still on the table. Our waitress seemed very perturbed with us and made a remark when we left as to how long we were at the table. There were plenty of empty tables so not like they needed ours, otherwise I do love the food.
One of the few things that has remained the same in NYC - Indochine, a favorite for many years.
Love it! Amazing food, beautiful ambience and amazing staff!
Consistently good food, good service and loud bar customers
Always a pleasure. A great place to bring a date or friends. Excellent Vietnamese food, desserts, and cocktails. Romantic atmosphere with low lighting and music not played too loud. Stylish crowd but everyone is doing their own thing so the vibe is not pretentious. A rare place.
excellent food, really good. great ambience and service. a little bit overpriced.
Absolutely phenomenal experience. Every staff member was exceptional. The cuisine was divine and the desserts were perfectly whimsical and delicious. I will be back soon!
Indochine is consistently good. Sorry about last review. I thought it was for a different restaurant
A classic that still feels new. Outstanding food. Beautiful room. Very friendly staff.
Food is great: we enjoyed the fried chicken rolls and crispy stuffed shrimps for appetizers. A favorite was the “shaking beef” with lemongrass. Beware of the high volume of the restaurant.
Amazing food (shrimp appetizer; steamed Chilean sea bass; roasted banana and tapioca pudding) were delicious. Fun, hip restaurant in a cool location. One of my Top Ten restaurants in NYC!!
We were seated right away which was great, food is always good here, there were some loud Birthday parties going on and it was extremely noisy the night. The server was very attentive, checking on us frequently.
It was great! I’ e Been going there since the 80’s and it’s always been consistent! I miss Undochine🤗
Best service, incredible cocktails, awesome decor, fun vibe. So much fun & the banana dessert is fabulous
We went for my husband’s birthday. The food was excellent. The children said the food was very good, they ate it all - and these are very picky eaters. I would definitely recommend Indochine to anyone looking to treat themselves to a wonderful night of food, service and ambiance.
Great food and service before a Jumbo Shrimp game. My go to restaurant downtown.
Overall the experience was great, despite the fact that we had to wait for at least 10 min until someone took our orders - all other servers were ignoring our wavings. The food is really good, go for the fluke carpaccio, fried spring rolls, summer roll of vegetables, shaking beef, crisp red snapper and the vietnamese bouillabaisse. Yummy! Restaurant is very dim lit and loud, so not very suitable for first dates.
Beautiful restaurant inside with beautiful people taking you to your seat and waiting on your table. Ordered shrimp and chicken spring rolls, steak salad, and noodle salad. They all had average taste, the portions were small to medium, and the prices for all three were outrageous.
