Don’t let the outward appearance fool you. Yes, this is a fine restaurant hiding in a rum-dum strip mall. The mediocrity ends once you enter the large, white tablecloth dining room. Blue dog paintings and murals hang on every wall. A large bar area is in the back behind large wine racks that serve as room dividers. Mood lighting sets a romantic vibe. Service was prompt and friendly. Cocktails well prepared and the food is upscale with nice presentation. We were quite satisfied with appetizers and substantial entrees of salmon and double boned pork chops. Desserts were excellent as well. This is perfect when you want a special meal. Highly recommend.
Our hostess and server was delightful and knowledgeable about he menu and specials.
The food was absolutely delicious. Our cocktails perfectly made.
Definitely a place to go back to.
Just an amazing place!
Indigo is my favorite restaurant in Springfield. My husband had the pork chop and it was the best I have ever eaten. I had the filet which is always excellent. The baked Brie is amazing. I have never been disappointed at Indigo! Trust me it’s the best!!
The food was awesome. The service was very good as well.
Everything was perfect. From the time we walked in, we were well taken care of.
We had a reservation at 8, and waited 35 minutes for a table. There were multiple tables open that hadn’t been bussed. The food was great, the service not as much.
Indigo is by far the best restaurant in Springfield! Great food, Great Service and always fun!
Excellent cuisine, as usual. Cheryl provided exemplary service & Knowledge!
Food is consistently good. Great atmosphere. many entrees are unique.
My wife and I don't eat out a lot so when we do we're looking for great food and fine dining experience and Indigo always delivers.
We love indigo....i would have given 5 stars for the food but the pita bread on the plate of pita, garlic, olives and hummus was stale/hard; other than that everything was wonderful. service, food, ambiance, we've been dining there since 1999
Having diner with my husband and another couple
Once again Indigo’s was fantastic!!
Great food-delicious! Music was good too. Service a bit slow.
First time for dinner there - DELICIOUS!! Celebrated a friend's birthday and we all truly loved every minute!
Don’t let the “unassuming “ outside appearance fool you. Inside I found it to be a very nice place, on the edge of elegance. The menu was deep enough to satisfy many tastes, and the food and service was excellent.
Based on the small number of diners present the night we were there, it seems like an undiscovered gem that more should be aware of. I will definitely be back.
We had not been to Indigo for several years due to a bad experience with the previous management. Friends had told us it was greatly improved so we made Saturday evening reservations. The atmosphere was different than I remembered and quite dark. We were greeted warmly and all our service was very attentive. The menu was adequate and offered something for everyone in our party including a semi-vegetarian. The wine list was extensive but no spirit list except for house specialties. Each dish was well prepared and presented. My friend and I had both heard the rack of land was the best in town but although cooked as requested the serving was small for the price. although we stayed for a period of time, there were never more than a couple of other tables with customers. Overall the service was excellent, the food well prepared but not extraordinary so the experience was fine but far from extraordinary.
Great business. Well run and excellent staff
Just another wonderful night out. Food, service and ambiance were excellent. Can’t wait to go back.
As always excellent service, appetizers and main course. Had the rack of lamb done perfectly. Also the bar makes an excellent blue kamikaze.
We had a great experience! Cheryl was attentive, friendly & helped with our choices! The filets & salmon were delicious, wine selection affordable & chocolate caramel cheesecake a perfect ending! We will definitely come back!
The server was fantastic. The drinks were nice and the appetizers (spicy calamari and duck enchiladas) were excellent. The reason for my lower review is that all of our steaks were overcooked. We were the only table in the restaurant and we all ordered medium rare and it was clearly medium well. That was a major disappointment given the price point.
I LOVE this restaurant!!! My only complaint is that it’s not downtown!! The staff is always friendly and accommodating and of course the food is always superb!! The bartender made us brilliant cocktails and even stopped by to ask if made to our liking! ( of course!). Hot dates are my favorite! And BEST prime rib in the area!! Did I mention I Love this place??!!
We were very well impressed by the whole experience at Indigo. The service was flawless, the cocktails were very well prepared, and the food was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys fine cuisine and a great meal experience from cocktails, appetizers to dessert.
We were celebrating a birthday. Our waitress was wonderful. The food arrived at the right time and was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We had a fabulous event, Chelsea was the icing on the cake! She is a great plus to your business! Indigo is our favorite place to go now! We will be back!!!
We went on a Saturday night. Made reservations, but surprisingly there were few people there. Very friendly and capable waitress, helped us make choices. I had the sea scallops, my wife had the sea bass. Both dishes were prepared exactly right, not too dry (I hate when scallops are overcooked) and very flavorful. My wife had the chocolate mousse for her dessert, I had the creme' brulee. Both were very good, although my wife thought the chocolate was a little too dark for her taste. The atmosphere was also very nice, soft lighting and music. Overall an excellent experience.
We absolutely love this restaurant, it’s ambience, its wait staff and the food. And NO SCREAMING AND SQUIRMING kids.
The raw oysters on the half shell were awesome and meaty blue points. Their oyster sauces are really really exceptional. The bacon wrapped dates were perfect. The bar tender pours great cocktails!
Flat bread with hummus, baked garlic with kalamata olives come with every dinner and we love it.
The aged beef tenderloin is absolutely the best on earth, and the chef knows how cook it to the brink of perfection!!
And we cannot say enough great words about Nathan our favorite professional waiter.
An exceptional experience every time!!
Very pleasant service, received phenomenal food. I definitely plan on going back.
Wonderful Friday night dinner with a guest from out of town. Excellent service by Cheryl, and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.
My wife and I dined here for our anniversary. The drinks were great, the steak was excellent as were the scallops. The service was professional and friendly. An excellent experience.
Indigo is a premier restaurant. The level of service and quality is unparalleled in Springfield. The owners are always present and welcoming to customers. Treat yourself
Best restaurant in Springfield!
My brother and sister in law were here from Chicago, and said it was the best meal they had ever had here in Springfield. Everyone enjoyed their dinner and dessert, and the wine list was spectacular!!
As always, a wonderful dining experience. Everything was excellent. Service was prompt and attentive without being intrusive. Food was superbly prepared.
We have eaten here many times and this was the first time we were disappointed with the service. It was rather embarrassing as we had brought friends with us who had never eaten here. We raved about the restaurant and than were very disappointed
