Outdoor tables great for people watching on Los Olas
It was terrible. There are so many other options on Las Olas. First of all, they serve your salad with your meal...WHY? Secondly, the food was undercooked and cold. When we explained that we wanted fries with the burger, the waitress explained that we were wrong. There was a large party in the restaurant with us that made tons of noise in the otherwise empty restaurant. It is a shame for such a beautiful location that the restaurant is of poor service and quality.
The food was excellent, the service was good. I will be back!
Great experience! We celebrated a birthday and it was great! Great food and great ambiance outside! Would come again!! Great service as well!!
I have been coming to Indigo for 20 yrs thru several menu changes, back when it was an upper end steakhouse I loved their filet minion and hated it when it was gone a few yrs back...loved that it was back this time.....well I ordered it medium and had to send it back...it was almost rare...got it back, lst piece fine then rare again
they have a singer there on the outdoor patio who is great but I am old school I like to talk to the people 3 feet from me....the singer was loud and I couldn't hear anyone at my table....he could have taken a break every so often
that being said I will not go back
The food, service and drinks were all good at Indigo. The only complaint is the difficulty parking at the Riverside hotel to actually get to the restaurant. Leave enough time to get there. Great for outdoor dining on Las Olas!
Terrible service. We had to send our food back, it was inedible. Overpriced and very bad. Do not go there
The restaurant is located within a hotel, a small gem for brunch, the staff was great and food excellent, the guy that took the table reservations was not so great we waited 45 minutes when they had 6 tables unoccupied. Other than that everything was good.
Waitress was really nice. Music too loud outside and with the mixed of the cars driving by it is not easy to have a soft conversation.
Several in our group really enjoyed the food. Service as average.
Wanted to try someplace new for our anniversary and was expectig nice but nothing more. From the start we loved it. We had a great and very attentive waitress and sat outside where the entertainer was fantastic. Played a ton of old and new hits... he sang, played trumpet, and had his 2 teenage daughters join as back up and at times singing on their own.... great food, great staff, and great entertainment value!
good food and service, nice atmosphere. Great for romantic eve.
This is such a nice spot for lunch or dinner. The service was top notch, wine list was notable and the food was outstanding with a great happy hour. We enjoyed every dish that we ordered particularly the shrimp cocktail and the snapper.....fabulous!!!
Over the years I go to Indigo with hopes it will be as wonderful as it was years ago, with some true surprises as Nasi Gorang. It's easy to go there and meet people, but the food isn't fit for anyone who likes fine portions and delicate presentations. Au revoir.
Great food, friendly staff. I really enjoyed dinner here. They did everything well.
My wife and I were really excited about going to eat here. We were seated promptly and then no service from there. Not even a gretting. Five different people walked by us and not a word. After 15 minites we left out of frustration. Sorry we will not go back to Indigo.
Had a nice time. The food was good and so was the service. Very enjoyable.
Was a little busy brat night with it being New Year's Eve but overall it was a very nice evening and food was delicious.
We enjoyed out brunch / lunch with friends. It was a great location. The food was good and so was the service.
Excellent restaurant. Had a wonderful time. Visited during Dine Out Ft. Lauderdale and will definitely be back. The pork sirloin was soooo very good, tender and moist. The waiters were quite pleasant and the entertainment keep us there for hours. Really a funny night.
the mussels were amazing. The lemon crusted salmon was delectable. The staff was great and they had some great entertainment. Fun place
SEATING OUTSIDE NEXT TO THE ENTERTAINMENT WHICH IS SCHEDULED TO START AT 8 PROVED TO BE A DISASTER. THE ENTERTAINMENT DID NOT START UNTIL 9 AS THE ENTERTAINER SOCIALIZED WITH PATRONS FOR CLOSE TO 1 HOUR AFTER ARRIVING. WE WAITED ALMOST 40 MINUTES TO PAY OUR CHECK. BAD ALL AROUND....
Excellent food and atmosphere. The music was good. Our server could have been a little nicer in the beginning.
We hada lovely time on Mothers' Day. The food was good and the prices very reasonable compared to other Las Olas restaurants. Service was kind of slow; many bus boys, few waiters.
They would not honor the Open table reservation and we had to wait for a table.
While Indigo does a nice breakfast, it lacks any finesse. The best thing is that the terrace is so dog friendly. That's why I return.
I havent been to Indigo in over 8 years since I moved away from South Florida but when I was there for a weekend I went for Sunday Brunch with friends and it was as good as it always was. EXCELLENT
The location is wonderful (outdoor tables right on Las Olas), but the food was "okay" at best. Routine stuff, generally bland, lacking the flavor excitements of Indigo, which was the prior incarnation of this hotel restaurant. Service was good.
Have been to Indigo several times. Food was excellent. We had lemon crusted salmon and it was perfect and very fresh. We sat at an inside table and wished we had asked for one outside on the sidewalk.. We kept looking outside at all the activity. Our server was pleasant but brand new and and not yet sure of what she was doing. I would definitely go there again because the quality of the food is outstanding.
My husband and I were looking for a pleasant place to eat before the opera at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. We took an outside table on a mild evening and had very good service and a good meal. While the food may not be gourmet, it was more than adequate and the entire experience was very nice. We would come to Indigo again.
I like Indigo. Los Olas needs a pet-friendly environment and a restaurant with good food. Keep it up!
We were disappointed in Indigo. Our all-time favorite restaurant - the Grille Room - was next door in the same hotel, until it was closed about 5 years ago. So we thought we would try Indigo in hopes that some of the 5-star qualities of the Grille Room rubbed off on Indigo. It didn't. Limited menu, bland, over-salted food (from Sysco?), in-attentive wait staff, served food across diners; dreary dated decor - nothing nice to say about our experience there. We will not return.
We made a last-minute decision to have dinner at Indigo.. We could not have been happier with her decision. The food was delicious, the energy was great, service was perfect and just watching people walk up and down the street was entertaining. They had music playing outside and fortunately we were far enough away that we could enjoy it without it being too loud. We had friends with us from out-of-town and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Enjoyable outdoor dining on Las Olas. Service and food were both great.
Three of us went here for brunch. There was a general air of confusion (by the maitre d', the lady who seats people, and the waiter). It took 15 minutes from the time we were seated until the waiter came over to the table the first time to take our drink orders. Drinks were delivered 10 minutes later, one by one from the bar (instead of all three on a tray), being held by the waiter near the rim of the glass (a pet peeve of mine) . Throughout the meal, we were never offered coffee or water. The food was delivered in a timely manner and was okay: nothing special but adequate. Noise level was a bit high. Overall, not a pleasant experience, and not worth returning.
Indifferent, inattentive and unbelievably slow service spoiled our dining experience. Seemed that most guests were doing more drinking than eating, but even bar service was slow. Very nice location right in the center of LasOlas, but not a good experience for our party.
My friends and I had a wonderful evening. The dining room was quiet on a Wednesday night making it perfect for us to be able to talk and catch up with our lives
We ordered the skirt steak. It was very flavorful and cooked to perfection! They had a man singing and it was a treat that his 2 daughters showed up and also sang for us. They sang all types of music from oldies, motown to todays hits! I would definitely go back there.
Brandon was an attentive excellent server.
Whatever happened to the indonesian flavor of this restaurant? This is just a standard hotel restaurant now....the mussels appetizer was good, but the broth almost tasteless. My skirt steak entree was good, but could have ordered it anywhere. The brownie sundae dessert was very good, but again....it was a brownie...nothing inspired here...service was very good, ambiance tired...fine if you're staying at Riverside Hotel, but otherwise, stick to breakfasts here and maybe lunch.
