You can have your table on the beach (windy but warm) or inside. Food is very good and not expensive. We had a large table for dinner and the service was great. Wasn’t crowded. Really pretty atmosphere. Did not feel touristy yet 1 block from the main area in Playa del Carmen.

El desayuno fue delicioso con el buffet que incluye fruta, pan, yoghourt, etc. y un platillos mexicano ô internacional. El personal muy atento, ambiente agradable en la playa. Todo excelente !

I was expecting more. Nice beach front view of the sail boats and fishing boats. But tables and chairs are bit that clean (old, plastic) and sand fleas, the ambiance improves after dusk when twinkle lights and the ocean sound overwhelm the blandness of the restaurant itself. Drinks were watered down, even the lemonade and tamarindo natural juices. Food was ok, but not for the price, think frozen battered calamari, and day the of sushi roles. Would not recommend, although wait staff was attentive.

En la noche es un lugar muy lindo y romántico pero debo decir que el desayuno es aún mejor, la comida es deliciosa el el servicio excelente. Gracias a Pedro el mesero por su atención. Definitivamente volveré muy pronto.

We googled and found this restaurant. It was our last day in Playa Del Carmen. It was easy to find and very enjoyable. The food kept coming and was so delicious. It was wonderful to enjoy our last meal with impeccable service and at a great beachfront restaurant.

Great Service, Great Food. For a $15 minimum consumption charge pp, totally beats out slumming on a towel in the sand.

I have been returning to Indigo Beach since they opened El Taj. The food is wonderful, the service is fabulous. The breakfast buffet and table service and food all day is unmatched anywhere in Playa. To their credit I return each year to the same friendly faces of their servers who make me feel as if I am returning home rather then beginning a vacation. These servers service the beach as well as the restaurant and I am amazed at how quickly they return to see if anything else is needed. The attention shown to each person in the restaurant and on the beach is unusual. We usually have breakfast and lunch everyday at Indigo although we always say we will walk into town. It's just so relaxing and easy to know each meal will be so good we never seem to get off this beach. My only complaint has to do with nature spilling seaweed onto the beach which although cleaned each day just seems to turn up anew each morning. I understand some sort of barrier is being put in place to help keep the beach as pristine as possible. A five star rating for sure! Don't miss this.
