   We had a delightful evening at Indigenous. The staff is always so welcoming and generous with their knowledge of the meals and Chef Steve’s unique preparations. Our meals were wonderful - the best we’ve ever had in Sarasota! The smoked trout pate was indescribably delicious, followed by caramelized pork chop and Cobia. Save room for dessert and try the olive oil cake with cardamom. The name doesn’t do it justice! It is spectacular! Looking forward to our next visit!

   We were in the wine cottage which was a lovely, intimate spot. Very quiet and cool. Service was attentive without being overbearing. The food was fabulous! Each dish was beautifully plated with attention to detail. The taste was absolutely wonderful. We will be back!

   Excellent food as always. Would have given 5 stars in all categories but they wouldn't switch out Brussel sprouts so I didn't order what I really wanted. Mushroom soup was excellent! Will absolutely be back.

   We had another amazing dinner. When you get a little tired of seafood , you can’t go wrong with the burger or the pork chop. Both are amazing. Looking forward to going back.

   Food as always is good and well prepared. Since prior visits the portion size has decreased. I thought the Cobia has half the size of a comparable portion at any 5 star restaurant. Long wait for service. 20 minutes before server arrived at table.

    I love that this place highlights sustainable seafood. We even received a "Seafood Watch" Guide to buying sustainable seafood at a market with our bill! The food was excellent, especially the mushroom bisque (would come back for just that). The setting was wonderful: we were in a small bar area with dim lighting. They had outside seating too, but I'm glad we were inside since it was warm and I had made a reservation. The ONLY thing I found bothersome--if anything--was that parking was limited to a pay-per-hour lot or street parking if you could find some. We just gave in and bought parking for two hours; it was a small fee but I wish there were more options. It was a great time; I will be recommending the restaurant to others.
