Great food, great service, great experience.

I wanted some good Indian cuisine and this was definitely that. We had the Chicken Afghani as an appetizer and it was phenomenal. For the entree I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and it was equally as good. This was hands down the most flavorful Indian cuisine I’ve had. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu. The portions were big, the staff friendly, and the price… Very reasonable.

You’ve got to try this amazing gem in Liberty Township. The food and service are absolutely amazing. Authentic Indian cuisine with a few unexpected twists. And don’t be surprised if the chef pays you a visit to ask about your meal. Well done Indian spice train, well done

We really enjoyed the food, and the service was excellent. They were mostly doing carryout with only a few parties in the restaurant on a Monday evening. We purposely chose a weeknight so that it might be less crowded. It was a nice touch to have linen tablecloths and napkins.

Took a chance based on reviews when in the area. A little difficult to find as tucked in behind hotel. We were seated promptly. The service was quick. The food was delicious and able to be customized to spicy preference. We were surprised with ice cream at the end of the meal since it was our anniversary. We will definitely return when in the area again.

Excellent experience as always. The owner Chef paid our table a visit to check in, always a nice touch. We thoroughly enjoyed all 5 dishes. We always buy extra to sample several dishes and then enjoy leftovers at home.

Attentive friendly service, you choose your spice level and food was prepared to our specifications. Warm and inviting atmosphere. A good variety of vegetarian options as well as protien choices. The pistachio ice cream for dessert is excellent , very light and refreshing.

We visit about once of month and have never had a bad experience. The menu is much broader than typical Indian restaurant. Quality is very consistent. Everyone in the family has their favorites. If you are not into curry's they have great lamb chops and steak.

Lovely place to meet. Mr. Dhillon’s passion for food brought him to Cincinnati from Toronto. His creativity and attention to detail are worth mentioning. Individual attention to each table by him and his smiling staff, makes it a unique place. A must try! I know I will be returning when in town.

The Indian Spice Train is awesome! The food and the attentive service are amazing! The Tandoori Ribeye or the Lamb Chops are must haves. It is a hidden gem in Liberty Township that is well worth your time!

I visited the restaurant based on a magazine article. The restaurant is about 45 minutes away from home so it’s a destination trip. I was the sole diner at lunch and I was delighted the staff took time to answer every question I had regarding menu items and spice levels and preparation. I ordered an appetizer sampler which I could have very easily enjoyed as an entree. The chicken samplings were perfectly seasoned and prepared. The lamb chops beautifully charred and surprisingly moist. I ordered the chicken 65 as an entree and again was pleased with this dish. Very hot yet crazy delicious. The rice was a little too dry for my taste. The grilled naan was the best I have enjoyed. I topped all of this off with freshly made pistachio ice cream. I had the opportunity to talk with the chef as well as the owner. Both took obvious pride in their restaurant. It was pricey for an everyday lunch but considering the size of my doggy bags it’s a reasonable value.
