Food poor. Curry’s too hot, including tandoori king prawn, which as very heavily spiced hot. Ordered peshwari naan and got and charged for garlic naan. Rice was cold and lumpy, even the replacement was cold and lumpy. No heaters under food on table. Even only had pint glasses to drink from. Felt like I was in a pop up curry house, no authenticity in the middle of a car park. Really disappointed.
Everything was great. Less stars because I was offered dessert as my reservation showed anniversary. They gave me extremely hot dish which burnt my palate and tongue.
Thanks for the free dessert but tell us if it’s not ready to be ate.
Great food and service!
Food was really good and reasonably priced.
Amazing Indian restaurant. Food always delicious and consistent. Great service. Highly recommend!!!!
We arrived for our Valentine's Date only to be greeted by "we don't have a reservation for you". We were shown the book with hand-written reservations. Luckily, they seated us promptly so no big loss other than the awkwardness of my partner saying "you should have called to confirm". Live and learn. It seems no wait-staff was assigned to our table. We waited a bit too long until a waiter took our order for appetizers. As if he was in too big of a rush to go thru the menu. I was going to order a bottle of wine but nobody ever asked if we wanted anything to drink. Of course, I could easily have put in my own order. Once we got the appetizers I wanted to order a size of Raisa (cucumber dip helps offset spiceness). First I asked a woman if I could order it. She said yes but proceeded to bus a table and ignore us completely. Then I asked a passing waiter and he took the order but we never got it. Remember -- no waitstaff assigned to our table. As far as the food goes, it looks much better in the illustrated menu we perused online. That aside, it was a hit-or-miss situation. Two items were very good. The chicken Vindaloo was disappointing - the chicken had not absorbed the sauce. I won't give a rating on the food because it is too subjective. The General Manager did stop by to greet us VERY BRIEFLY each time. Not long enough for us to say anything. We could see him hamming it up with regulars at nearby tables. He did apologize saying that two waitstaff did not show up (on a busy night!). But that was all. Nothing offered like dessert, for example. I paid a full tip even though they (whoever?) did not deserve it. Overall, it seems like this Indian Restaurant is popular bc it sits alone. We could not find another that wasn't decorated as lunch casual. This restaurant has outdoor seating as well. I think my spouse and I got the short-end of the stick on Valentine's Day. We love Indian food but will look elsewhere.
The food was excellent and it was worth the price. We felt a bit neglected by our waiter who began serving other people who came in after us. However, everything ran smoothly after we spoke to him about it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Good food. Good service. Met the owner and even though it was a hectic and busy Valentine’s dinner and two of their employees called in sick, they managed to do a great job.
We are looking forward to going back again soon.
The Naan was excellent.
Very poor chutnies with poppadums.
Food was ok
Restaurant was very busy
The service was fantastic...and the food arrived hot and tasty! It was an excellent restaurant as we always try to find a local Indian restaurant when we travel and this was a good find and close to our hotel... would definitely recommend!!
My wife, two teenage daughters and I ate here and it was a very good experience. We all eat a plant based diet and there were many good options. The service was good but we had to ask a couple of times for more water after running dry for awhile. Otherwise, a very good experience.
We were traveling from out of town and searched Indian food. We found this place and had an amazing dinner. The food was delicious!!! I only wish we lived closer so we could be regulars.
Great food, excellent service
We made a reservation for December 26. Unfortunately, at our arrival, the restaurant was closed :(
Good food, but terrible service! Had to ask several times to order drinks after the food was ordered. We were seven people and one of us never got his dish at all. He asked the waiter, and she rudly replied: Don’t worry, you’ll get it when it is ready. But he never got it, nor did we get the nan bread we ordered. The waiters handeled the situation awfully. Said it was a busy night. We will never go back!!!
Food is consistently tasty but service can be slow.
Great food! Great menu too. The service sometimes is a bit slow...
An excellent evening. Portions were perfect.
The staff were very friendly and professional.
We have eaten here twice and will be going back for more tonight.
Excellent authentic Indian dishes, freshly cooked and served with a genuine smile.
This is our favorite place now in the area. I had the curry with prawns the second time and it was fabulous.
What more can I say but do try this place. The name is correct. It is a very good restaurant!
I was very pleasantly surprised by Indian Harbor! I travel to Europe quite a bit, and frequently enjoy high-quality, authentic, delucious Indian food over there, especially in the UK. Suffice it to say that my standards are high! I found the atmosphere and the service to be delightful at Indian Harbor, and the food was scrumptious and very attractively presented. The hosts could not have been more welcoming… Even though it is out of my area, I will definitely go back. In short, highly recommended!
Amazing and very accommodating owner and chef
Delicious as alwsys
Extremely nice atmosphere. Service very good and food great. Very Friendly
Wonderful food and plenty of dishes you don't see elsewhere. Menu is marked for vegans and vegetarians, with an entire vegan section.
Delicious as always...
I always enjoy dining here. I generally come at lunch. There’s generally enough to share. You have to know to ask for condiments like chutneys or for poppers. Chutney really enhances the flavors of dishes, but they don’t bring or offer them unless you ask. Always friendly and accommodating of dietary restrictions. A wonderful spot for good Asian Indian food!
The hostess was the best part of our evening. She was polite and helpful. The food is great. Indian Harbor it a bit pricier than other Indian Restaurants, but worth it for the atmosphere.
The food was good but not great.
First time in this restaurant. We enjoyed the brunch which had a wide variety of dishes with first quality ingredients for a fair price.
Definitely coming again to try their a la carte menue
Excellent!!! Delicious and authentic Indian food !
They started out strong when they first opened, then hit a low point about a year ago when their cooking was off track but I happy to report that they are back now and better than ever!!!! So happy. Their food is tasty, fresh and they have a delicate and thoughtful cooking hand - very key in Indian cooking so that everything is flavorful yet balanced. Also I love that they take it easy on their oil /butter use -everything tastes great without being an oil slick like most of the local Indian restaurants-so everything here is tasty AND healthy.
The lamb vindaloo is a favorite-very lean , tender lamb with a tangy tomato based sauce to compliment the meats natural gaminess- delicious! Breads are awesome -I am partial to their Aloo Paratha -yummy potato stuffed bread. My husband particularly enjoys their chicken masala and their paneer mahkni but really everything we get is delish including their vegan and beans dishes!
Everyone is very attentive- refilling Waters, clearing plates. The owner is very friendly and kind-always checking in on customers to make sure they are pleased and we always are- Keep up the great work! Hands down the best Indian restaurant in all of Ft Lauderdale/Miami/Boca!
I had an old friend come to town and took her to Indian Harbor. I wanted to share with her one of my favorite restaurants and it did not disappoint! The food is amazing and the ingredients are top notch! To boot, the owner and staff are lovely people! I have yet to have a dish I didn't swoon over!
The buffet was awesome! Clean! And the staff were wonderful! Thank you!!
none of the above..food was mediocre..they actually forgot to add the coconut milk to my chicken tikka masala!!
service was atrocious!! we asked for wine 3 times & tried to order food every time...nothing....we asked for check over & over & was ignored..they were too busy putting up the chairs on the empty tables to close up..while customers were still eating! Terrible experience...me & my friend will never go back!
Food is always consistently good. Never disappoints
Love this place. Best Indian in town by far! Owner and his crew are amazing. Great customer, great food for a reasonable price. Worth the drive if you do not live in Ft Lauderdale.
Excellent Food, Very authentic. The place is clean and I love the fact that it is not set in an Indian decor, it looks contemporary.
My husband and I have been wanting to try Indian Harbour. We pass by it all the time when we go to Publix. So we decided that we wanted to go. Best decision ever!!! The food was amazing. We will definitely be going again.
Amazing as always!
Friendly staff and management. Great Indian food with many specific VEGAN options. While vegetarian options are plentiful at most Indian restaurants, vegan choices are not, so I was delighted to find that INDIAN HARBOR goes out of its way to offer a wide range of VEGAN appetizers and entrees. The food is fresh and tasty - and SPICY if you want it so. Definitely try the Cauliflower and the Peanuts as appetizers. :-)
