With the food truck thriving, Stacey and Tiffany decided to open up a bricks and mortar restaurant in Whitefish, MT the summer of 2017. Here they offer even more of their unique flavors, lively colors, and relaxed atmosphere - all the while committing to providing the most sustainable, fresh, and local ingredients. They hope to share their passion for authentic and creative Asian cuisine with their local community and bring a truly amazing experience to each of their customers.
We sat outside due to precautions that Indah took for COVID. The food was amazing. Ahi Tuna was seared to perfection and the rainbow roll might’ve been the best one I’ve had. Lots of drinks to select from and service was great.
This is our favorite sushi restaurant. We have visited 3X in the last week and half! Highly recommend.
Delicious, innovative, beautiful presentation, varied selection. Truly incredible dining experience, sitting outside on fun patio, enjoying fresh Montana evening with friends, food and drink. Highly recommend
We loved everything we ordered! Salmon poke and veggie tempura were amazing as well as all the rolls we tried. We’ll be back!!
This women owned business does not disappoint. I was craving sushi and sushi is what I received. The food was inventive and well portioned. We did not leave hungry.
We’ve been coming here frequently and feel like service is slipping. Our server wasn’t very attentive to our needs and the food took a very long time to come out and once it did 1 person in our party was served 10min before the others got there food. It took asking multiple times to get more drinks.
Always solid food. So good and quality every time! The service can be a little slow but it’s always worth the wait. Would always recommend.
There wasn’t any COVID distancing or mask/sanitizing by servers. This was very troublesome.
Awesome place, great service! We love going there.
From out of town, but found this comparable if not better than my favorite local sushi spot back home.
Fun and creative sushi, really enjoyed our dinning experience!
Small little place , a bit pricey for food but is very fresh
If you're looking for "mainstream" sushi, this is not the restaurant for you. But if you're interested in an out of the box, creative take on the norm, we highly recommend Indah! Unique flavor combinations make this a must-try for the adventurous foodie! Reservations highly recommended.
Tasty, inventive sushi options as. All your favorite go to sushi choices are available too! Also very nice people and great drinks!
Fav restaurant in whitefish!! Happy hour every day and always good/interesting options.
Indah Sushi was very yummy and it has a fun little atmosphere to it!
Food and service was fabulous. My favorite! Had such a great evening.
We tried the 4 types of sashimi and each was delightful. Stacey’s quail egg sake shooters are a gem.
Great atmosphere and eclectic contemporary Japanese style cuisine by a local team of contemporary Montanans
Fun place! We will be back.
Very imaginative sushi fusion. Wonderful service, good prices.
The hostess was off when we entered, she could have been having an off day but she seemed annoyed and wouldn't make eye contact. I was about ready to leave until our waitress arrived with amazingly kind energy and she helped us navigate the menu saying "ok so you are in for a lot of flavor..." which was reassuring. We started with calamari and I promise it was life changing! Best calamari in the world, it melted in my mouth and it was not chewy for once, better than San Francisco! The sushi was surprisingly lack luster, very bland and the California roll was gritty. If I go again I will try the noodles and hopefully have better luck. The waitress overheard that it was our anniversary so she gave us a free bottle of premium Sake! Overall it was a nice dinner, I was just really looking forward to some good sushi, maybe it was just an off night.
Cute little sushi joint! Super creative menu and prices at first seemed steep BUT the portions are very generous. All the fish tasted very fresh. Flavors were good however I did expect more flavor from some of the rolls considering how many ingredients were used. Having said that, I would definitely go back on our next Whitefish visit. Service was on point and our waitress was friendly and attentive. Bonus that they have a kids menu because my kids love sushi too! :-)
The hostess was a little snippy with us as our reservation was for more than showed up. Once we realized that we had less we told her (prior to being seated) then asked if there was a table for our smaller group on the patio. This seemed to aggrivate her more. She walked out & slapped a couple menus on the table & walked away.
Our server was AMAZING! however. The food, as always, was fantastic.
We were traveling over the July 4th holiday weekend and booked a reservation at Indah Sushi several weeks in advance. We arrived for our reservation only to find the restaurant closed for the holiday. We were not notified.
Food was way over priced and very disappointing. I love sushi and heard great things. Soft shell crab was rubbery, over cooked. Sashimi was literally embarrassing. It was the smallest portions of fish. I was expecting big meaty fresh pieces...especially for 30 dollars. Our server was unfriendly and unenthusiastic
Gosh, such good vegan options and the owner is lovely.
Dishes were inventive, fresh tasting and delicious! The place was full when we arrived. The staff were all very busy but never seemed stressed, were very friendly and on top of their game. This place was an unexpected find. Who would have ever guessed you can get great sushi in Montana?
Although the sushi was super unique, the service was so poor that we could hardly enjoy it. Even with a reservation, it still took them 20 minutes to seat us. And once seated another 20 before we even had water. We ended up spending 2 hours here and or sushi was brought out randomly. Would not go again.
Love this place!
Outstanding Sushi/Sashimi. Clearly the best in the Flathead Valley
Eating at Indah was a wonderful experience. From great ambiance to excellent service, and hands down the best sushi I've had in years! Thanks Indah!
Larger variety of fresh fish compared to most mid-west sushi joints. Was able to find rolls similar to what I eat in LA, Miami, NYC, etc...
Our second time in at Indah and we are even more in love with this place! We always leave full, which is unusual for us since we are typically a bottomless pit for sushi. The flavor pairings are genius, smiith and creative. Service was as though she was trying to leave us alone but she was sweet nonetheless and we had no issues :)
Thank you for helping us create special memories, we love you!
Nice space and decent sushi with lots of non-traditional options. The tempura was great! When we asked the server how large the rolls were, we were told 5-6 pieces. However, all of the rolls we ordered were over 8 pieces. The service was extremely slow, even though we made reservations ahead of time. We didn't see a waitress until 20 minutes after we were seated, and this continued throughout the meal. I understand that on some nights restaurants are very busy, but this was never acknowledge by the staff. We were also seated right by the door and it was very cold.
We make our own sushi, but cant do it as well and as creative as they do. The presentation is wonderful! It almost looks too good to eat!
Everything we tried was delicious and beautifully presented. Service was perfect.
Started the evening with warm sake and appetizers. Continued with maki — tasty!!! Excellent sushi and flavors! Rolls sometimes fell apart when dipping into soy sauce. Just need a bit tighter roll. Taste was on spot! Thank you for a wonderful meal.
Unique rolls and fresh fish.
The main fare is raw fish. For Montana, this is reasonably good. The fried calamari was excellent. The curry soup was okay. We had a sashimi plate and a nigiri plate which were quite good, along with a nice bottle of junmai ginjo sake.
