Located on Charleston's Upper King Street, Indaco (Italian for "indigo") serves rustic Italian cuisine. Wood-fired pizzas, hand-crafted pastas, housemade salami and cured sausages fill the restaurant's menu which can be enjoyed family-style or a la carte. A special thank you to the wonderful manager and the entire staff at Indaco. They made our evening extra special, we were celebrating three girls college acceptance to the University of South Carolina. The manager presented a beautiful card from the staff with best advice for college! The food as always was wonderful and you can see why on a random Monday night this restaurant was full. As always, we will be back! It’s such a great gem in the Charleston food scene.

Everyone was very friendly and the overall atmosphere was great. We came for Brunch and tried 2 pasta dishes and 1 sweet appetizer, all which was excellent. Look forward to going back to try the dinner menu.

We spent our last night in Charleston here, and it just so happened to be on Friday, St Patrick’s Day. We thoroughly enjoyed the drinks, food, and great service- some of the best over the last few days here. Only caveat is the noise level is very high, so much so that we were ready to leave before dessert. Still a great place and I would return— Just with noise level in mind.

The most incredible, fresh, and flavorful meal. A chic casual atmosphere that's dimly lit and feels like a neighborhood favorite. Great for date night! We were blown away by the entire experience — including the awesome customer service from Courtney (aka, Court). A+.

Do yourself a favor and visit this amazing restaurant in Charleston. The staff truly cares about your experience. Hostesses was quick to greet and seat us; Courtney provided us with the best service we have ever had and, the food and drinks were absolutely amazing! We will definitely be back when visiting SC. Highly recommend!

Outstanding service from Madison, who took the time to explain the menu and ensure that our meal was perfectly timed for us to get to a concert on time. The meatballs were delicious, the focaccia was delightful and light and the wood fired pizzas were amazing….. we finished with espresso martinis and it was the perfect dinner. We will definitely be back for more!

Buffalo was our server and he was awesome. Thanks for making the birthday celebration a great one. My daughter doesn’t eat a lot of meat and the family style dining was great. They sent out great options to please the entire table.

We went since we had three people give us raving reviews. This place is overrated. The water came out with a fly in it. The pasta with crab came out reeking like fish which shouldn’t happen. This is not at all recommended.

One of my favorite spots in Charleston and hands down the best Italian in the city. Have eaten here several times and is always excellent. Food is always well presented and very flavorful, service is spot on, and it has a good vibe. Menu always has tons of interesting options so will definitely be back soon!

Great atmosphere and great food. Our server Courtney was fantastic. They were very accommodating to our almost-2-year-old and the staff seemed happy to see her there with us. Also the drinks were great. Would definitely go back again.

Our meal at Indaco was delicious. They were out of several things in the menu due to more diners than expected. Our server was very knowledgeable and was able to suggest dishes to replace the ones that were unavailable. I will recommend Indaco to friends.

Server rushed us the whole time we were there . We wanted to order an app and was instructed we had to order all our food at the same time. We received our food and apps at the same time after 10 min we had eaten half of our all and she was trying to take it away. For this kind of money would def like to at least enjoy our meal . Good was tasty.

Phenomenal. Everything was lovely. The tables are spaced comfortably apart, the service on point, and food outstanding. Creative riffs on Italian with a traditional bent. The meatballs and buratta were some of the best we've ever had. We would be regulars if we lived in Charleston.
