Everything was delicious! Loved the fried artichoke. Definitely recommend!
Food was great and initial service good. We would have had more wine but after serving us our waitress did not come back until we were ready for our check.
Our first visit to Charleston. Passed Indaco several times walking back to our hotel from the Historic District.
Peeking in revealed a busy and an inviting ambience.
Service mimicked Charleston’s outstanding Southern Hospitality.
Consistent and never disappoints, even if you stray from your favorite menu item. YUM.
Another wonderful meal ... I can always count on great food and vino here! Thanks Indaco 😊
There was as great
Wonderful services and fantastic food! Brussel Sprout pizza and Black Spaghetti are incredible
Indaco has always been a favorite I live in North Myrtle Beach so even though it's two and a half hours away I try to make it there regularly. They have the best restaurant week deal in Charleston. I love that you can order from the whole menu everything is delicious! My only complaint is that there is not one in my town of North Myrtle! Prices are moderate without sacrificing quality. They also have a great Happy hour!
Everything we had was delicious but the chopped salad, although beautiful, was extremely salty. I ate it but my daughter could not. I also heard the people sitting next to us say the same thing. We sat by the door on a very cold evening so we had to wear our winter coats during dinner. Service was phenomenal!
My favorite restaurant so far after moving here 2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful dinner at Indaco. Our server, Melody, was fantastic. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and all of her recommendations were on point. Great staff, great ambiance, and of course great food!
First time here and during restaurant week. Great selection for each of the three courses, large portions, and although the place was very busy on a Saturday night, the service was still very good. Looking forward to returning and ordering off the regular menu.
Loved the ambiance. Food was very good and service was very slow. Our waiter forgot about us a few times... when pizza and pasta were delivered we ask for Parmesan cheese and by the time it was brought to the table we were done eating the course. Took us more than 2.5 hours from when we were seated and when we paid the bill.
We dined here tonight. Everything was excellent. Good energy, awesome food and great service. Our family truly enjoyed ourselves.
Great for restaurant week! Very good deal, whole menu to choose from.
The food was outstanding!! Pizza was amazing great taste. Pappardelle was spiced just right.
One of the best places to get excellent food in an upbeat, casual atmosphere. Wait staff is personable and professional. Service is at a good pace. So many tasty items on the menu that are a refreshing break from Southern style seafood or fancy kinda stuffy places. An Italian twist on some items but definitely original combinations for pizza, pastas, etc. Loved the roasted artichokes, would skip the meatball appetizer. Generous servings.
We’ve been before and had great food and fast service; however, this last time was not great. We waited over 30 minutes for the appetizers, a salad and a bowl of Polette, (basically meatballs). They did not serve bread for dipping in the sauce, and although the meatballs were good, they were barely lukewarm. The entrees were fine, but again, lukewarm and no bread for dipping in sauce. I should mention that our reservation was for 5pm and they were very slow when we arrived.
Best meal we all have eaten in a while.
This place never fails to disappoint -- food is always top-notch and server Brian "gifted" us several items. It was Restaurant Week in Charleston when we went, so it was packed when we arrived, but were seated right away and, judging by the attentiveness of the staff, and the quality of the food and wine, it was as though we were the only ones there. This has quickly become our favorite spot out of so many incredibly good places to eat in Charleston. We now make it a point to get there every time we're in town!
Little noisy but it was restaurant week. pizza was one of the best
We thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant week special; an excellent value! Our server, Leah, was perfect. She was patient, helpful, and attentive but not overbearing. The beet cocktail was phenomenal; I hope they keep this one! The artichoke appetizer, chopped salad & brussel sprout pizza were impeccable, the bread & olive oil sublime. I LOVE that their bread for the table is by request only to prevent waste! We were a late reservation, but weren't the only diners, however the entrees did feel/taste as though they'd possibly been prepared and sat for a bit - still good flavours however. The sorbet was the perfect ending.
Thanks to Leah for a lovely experience!
We loved Indaco! Service was great, food was good, and the ambiance was perfect... We thought we'd give it a try during Restaurant Week, and we were very pleased... we'll be back!
An undervalued true Italian restaurant. Go ob Sunday when bottles of wine are half price and get some of the most inventive restaurants wily great service component. The knowledge of food and wines is extensive and they can lead you trough some more unusual grape varietals to accompany your meal. The chopped salad is so lightly dressed that I finished it without getting that " oh, how creamy< feeling from the dressing overwhelming the ingredients.
Downside, noisy inside and the enclosure that runs along the alley lacks charm to say the least. Focus on the food and you'll be fine. Just not the place for a first date.
Staff was super friendly, fantastic food and just an overall wonderful experience! Thank you!
Amazing food, great service, beautiful atmosphere
The service was very slow
Nice bar, crowd mixed in age. Service was good but not what we thought it should be. Dessert was great. We would return.
Fun menu choices, good portion size, attentive waitstaff equals very enjoyable dinner. Delicious buratta, artichokes, black speghetti, and roasted chicken. Great tiamisu bombe and ice cream sandwich. Tried this place for first time during Restaurant Week. Will definitely return.
The service is always excellent at Indaco and usually the food too. There were 3 of us dining (my adult daughters and I), the only thing that wasn’t great was the vegetable entree. I was thrilled to see it available and hesitated ordering it because of the veggie combination but I decided to try it. It was weird, the flavors didn’t compliment each other at all. Also the farro was hard, my kids could hear it crunching in my mouth and it’s not a quiet restaurant. It wasn’t gross, just weird. I wouldn’t order it again. Everything else was fantastic though.
We dined this past Sunday night during Restaurant Week and the food was AMAZING! I can't remember our waitress's name, but she was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely make a point to eat at Indaco again the next time I am in Charleston.
Always love eating at Indaco! The food is incredible and the service is great. Love that they have free valet!
We had an amazing meal and an amazing experience we vet all at Indaco! Highly recommend!!
Amazing Restaurant Week dinner at Indaco with my girlfriends!
Birthday and they made it special - highly recommend!
Food was exceptional!
We had a terrific meal for great value. We definitely will return. Service was flawless. Overall great place to dine.
We had the burrata, gnocchi, and the Bianca pizza - everything we had there was amazing! I would go back time and time again. Service was excellent. Vibe was great. Location is perfect, walking distance to all the bars and shops.
Family style is the way to go! We tasted everything and it was all divine!
