Family owned In Contrada Vineyard, the oldest winery in San Antonio, invites you to visit us! Enjoy an afternoon in the vines while delighting in our house made wines and freshly prepared food.

We offer inside dinning in addition to covered outside seating in the vineyard. Outside you will find gazebos, sun shades, misters and fans. Its really quite nice!

Please make sure to note our Kitchen Hours if you will be dinning with us: Kitchen closes promptly at:
Thursday & Friday- 9pm, Saturday- 8pm . On Sunday the kitchen closes promptly at 5:30 pm.

Our Wine Tasting Hours are:
Thursday 4pm to 9pm
Friday 4pm to 10pm
Saturday 12pm to 10pm
Sunday 12pm to 6pm

No split checks on parties of 6 or more & gratuity is automatically added on parties of 6+

The pizza was good, the other food was meh... only found one wine that we liked, everything else was not to our taste. Accidentally left my credit card there, called the next day, and of course, no one answered the phone. I left a message, still no return call.

They only had one waiter for the entire dining area so, service was poor and prices are a little high for the restaurant.

Was a fun and relaxing time. Our server was very knowledgeable and the food was great! We did the wine tasting and received a complimentary glass with it! Will definitely be coming back again!

In Contrada is getting better all the time. The wines have improved dramatically in 2 years; the food got better fast when the new kitchen was installed and the ambience is delightful. Guests eat outside in the leafy “vineyard” or inside in the A/C. Thaddeus is a great ambassador/server. His recommendations like the calamari and fava bean appetizer with foccaccio is a hit. Problems with service remain. Recently we ordered a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and the calamari for 2. We got one order. But we still had a great time!

It was Nothing like the pictures on the website. (Misleading) The staff was nice, not very informative about the services considering this was our first visit. There was no tour of the grounds, no cheeses or breads to compliment the wine tasting. It wasn't terrible, but it left Much to be desired.
