My husband and I enjoyed a delicious tomahawk steak that we split. There is a splitting fee. The restaurant was quiet and adhered to social distancing. We would come here again for dinner.

Our server could’ve beeb a bit better. Continually had to remind him of what we asked for and things of that nature. My surprise birthday cake wasn’t good, it would’ve been nice if they asked for a flavor preference. The steak was AMAZING. Loved the seasoning, will definitely be back.

This place was an expensive mistake. Everything looked like it was 50 years old. The steak was very good but the sides and appetizers were terrible. The scalloped potatoes tasted like ashes with shredded Costco cheese that wasn’t melted on top. The mashed potatoes looked like they were from KFC without the flavor. The calamari only tasted like the greasy batter. I will never go there again.

An old favorite, can't find the dark red leather booths and warm wood paneling in many places any more. Steaks were perfect as was the service. And - thanks for being open and an island of civilization.

I gave 1's because 0 wasn't an option. The place is OLD....food was almost edible ....prices were HUGE. I was expecting a Mortons and got something from the 60's. Waitress was nice.

Amazing steak! Only thing disappointing was the available seating outside. Which was 2 tables. Otherwise best steak I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the Manhattan Cut Filet!

This is definitely a traditional steak house, complete with traditional furniture and ambience. Staff are very friendly. Food was good, but I wouldn't say outstanding. We ordered the filet mignon and the salmon entrees. The filet was done to our request. The salmon was, to my taste, rather underdone, though they didn't ask how I'd like it. My only con about the place really is that it's quite expensive: $50 for a 8-oz (if that) filet, and all you get is the steak; potato, salad or veggies are all extra.

Excellent meal and service. A restaurant we frequent often. After dinner it is fun to have a drink at the bar. Great bartenders and music. A fun atmosphere.

The prices are outrageous. Can’t even share without a $20 price. The waiter was watching us eat the entire time. It was very strange.

Had a great dinner Friday night at Imperial Steak House. Very old-school but great quality and value compared to other steak houses I've been to. My rib-eye was cooked perfectly. Service was outstanding.

I had read the reviews, but wanted to experience the food for myself. I was hungry and right across the street. It was early, so they we’re giving discounts for their “Happy Hour.” They seated me right away and I ordered a martini. It was good, but they didn’t offer blue cheese olives (something a good steakhouse would have). I ordered a wedge salad that was mediocre. The tomatoes tasted bad and they weren’t chopped up. Then I ordered a Fillet Mignon - and stressed I wanted it well done (I know that everyone gives me a hard time about it, but that’s the way I like it!). When it came out it was rare...not even medium rare. The nice server took it back and when he returned with it, it was still red inside. I took a few bites along the edges...but that was it. I will mention that the steak was over-seasoned because that was in one of the reviews I read. They were right. I like seasonings but this was over the top. Overall, I must say that my experience wasn’t good and I will not go back. However, I will say that the server was extremely nice.

We have gone twice in last few weeks and sadly I doubt if we will go back. The service was more then outstanding but food choices not on the menu reflects a problem. Not having a baked potato or other choice items on the menu is not right. Offering PRIME steaks and seasoning them so much that it masks the taste of the meat is not right which questions whether the meat is prime or??? Have loved this place for years but something has happened.

Our evening was grand! We went to the Imperial Steak House to celebrate a milestone, Frankie, our wait-staff was fantastic the shrimp was delicious. The scallop potatoes melted in your mouth and the asparagus was grilled nicely. I had a wonderful piece of cheesecake for dessert, he had rich creamy ice cream. We will be back!

We were a group of 8, and we all thought our steaks were done just perfectly. The food was beyond excellent. Very quiet, very comfortable chairs, excellent service. The steaks are pricy but worth it.

This is primarily a steak place. The meat is excellent, but expensive. The staff is attentive and definitely select a flaming dessert. Old school classic table-side show.

Our waiter was Mike and he was nice and polite. The chief came out and introduced himself. The only down side was a $15 charge for Splitting our dinner. The 28 oz cowboy streak was tasting and not overdone. It came with a wedge salad and one side which was a plus.

Food was amazing! The chef came out & made sure our steaks were all to our liking. We really loved the classic vintage decor! The red chairs & big booths are so cool. The place was pretty empty on a Friday night, which is crazy since the food & service were fantastic! This place feels like where you’d go for a special occasion or date. Great wedding proposal spot! We went into the bar after our meal & had fun requesting songs for the pianist to play. The whole experience felt like stepping back in time! Loved it!!!!

Good food, very nice place however some service improvements could be made. We had to ask for bread, which did not arrive until our meal did. The server saw that my companion was finished though I was clearly not, with 1/3 or my filet mignon still on my plate. He scooped up my companion’s plate and next thing I knew he’d whisked my plate up without even bothering to ask not only if I had finished, or would I like the 1/3 of my $50 filet wrapped up to go. They did knock $10 off the price of my meal to make up for the loss, but it should have been about $15 off by my estimation. The server was very young, very polite and apologetic so I hope he learned to ask before removing plates, and if the customer would like their food wrapped to go. All said I would give this place another chance.

Old-school ambiance in terms of decor and background music. It’s definitely a steakhouse, though the owner/chef (Dave) who talked to us is trying to update it some. Food was well prepared; the steak and the asparagus were done just right.

Went here for Valentine's Day or thought I was going here for Valentine's Day. Had a reservation made multiple days in advance. Get to the restaurant and I am told that they no longer have the lobster bisque soup and have a tomato bisque (so tomato soup) instead of lobster bisque. Not exactly a great trade off. Then it gets better (or worse). They then inform my date and I that they no longer have the prime rib option. So the only steak option at a "steakhouse" they no longer have available because they are sold out. They had 3 entree options on their prefixed menu and the only steak option they are sold out of. So they wanted 60+ for chicken and tomato soup at a steakhouse. As a result, I had to find a new restaurant on Valentine's Day at 830pm. Completely unacceptable and utterly disrespectful to do to your customers on Valentine's Day.

I was excited to try this place and as a result will never even consider going there.

Got there 6 people for Valentine's Day reservation at 7. They were out of Prime Rib and Shrimp. They only thing left was Chicken. So we left and got lucky got a reservation at Morton's so much better.

We went to restaurant for Valentines Day. Menu did not reflect what was actually available — menu promoted prime rib — but we were told none was available. Wait staff were not trained well. Food was poor quality. Small portion sizes. Better food could be had at coffee house. Salmon was over cooked. Obviously we will not return.

First was informed they no longer take Entertainment book coupon, even though it was not expired yet. Ordered the rib eye steak to share, because it is so large, with a pasta dish. Pasta was good but left under salamander to long, noodles on top dry. The steak was very chewy. flavor was okay. I wouldn't call that prime beef. I buy prime steaks for home cooking and never have that problem. If they want to be a steak house they should go to Donavon's for a steak then make some changes.
