   Disappointing. One of the staff members behind the bar was touching her runny nose with her hand and then serving ice cream ungloved.

   Menu promised 3 prawn cutlets but only two arrived. No bar and no water station upstairs so had to go back down for water. Food was lovely, but having to order from a QR code is tacky. Such a lovely venue, but a bit disappointing. Staff at The Brewery where we saw an act were all delightful, as was Julian in the bottle shop. Would definitely go back, but would hope for a bit of polish.

   Fantastic service and atmosphere. Beautiful old pub. Only complaint is I ordered a steak well done and it was medium rare. Otherwise great place.

   Thank you for a really lovely experience, the young girl at the bar upstairs was uninterested in serving us on both occasions. However, everyone else was friendly and had smiles. Service was great, food was really nice we had the green godess and salmon poke bowl both were really tasty and the serving size was generous. Everywhere was clean, neat and tidy. The hotel needs a re paint etc but she’s a beautiful old Queenslander gal. Lovely meal, thanks guys

   Food was over cooked and half the meals came out together and the other half took another 15mins to come.

   The venue has gone seriously downhill since Comsikey group took over. Food was very average, overpriced, and prawns in the seafood basket I had were obviously off. Dissapointing as the food always used to be good, the old menu was better and had more choices. The place has also lost its ambience, the new decor looks cheap and tacky, like a beachy tiki bar, and does not suit Eumund's vibe. The addition of pokies is also very disappointing. Hopefully, they haven't ruined the place as a music venue, but I'll definitely be eating elsewhere.

   Booked a verandah table based on the web-advertised menu. No notice given WHEN BOOKING that there was to be a limited menu due to a staff function…which presumably the usual cook was attending. Only 3 tables in total occupied in entire dining area during the course of the evening. "Bookings essential?" Ordered meals off the small, plain, one page black & white menu. Food plain too. Coffee machine 'broken' apparently. May just have been a bad night but wont risk returning in case that's standard. It is just a country pub after all.

   Was amazing! Had booked a regular table but ended up joining the trivia night for our date night. Everyone was very welcome and spend most of the night laughing. Food and drinks were perfect and very welcoming staff. Thanks for a great night!

    The worst meal I have ever had. I chose the poached chicken, pineapple and coconut salad. It was completely tasteless and not as described. Basically a bowl of bland rice noodles. 4 very tiny pieces of chicken, no coriander, a very sorry looking couple of mint leaves that were past their best. No cashews, no taste of mango or any flavour other a tiny hint of chilli, and four pieces of soggy roast pineapple. It was the worst salad I’ve ever eaten. $8 for a tiny handful of chips. The service was average to non existent, queued for a drink, queued separately to order. My husbands drink got knocked of the table just after we sat down, to have to purchase another for $10 out of his own pocket. Disappointed is an understatement.
