Imperfecto is a restaurant by Enrique Limardo and the team behind Seven Reasons. The restaurant is inspired by the intersection between the Mediterranean & Latin American Cultures, and sustained in Enrique Limardo's bold culinary approach.

At Imperfecto we believe that human beings are not perfect. We are far from perfect. We are Imperfect. And it's imperfection that moves us forward and shows us how to improve.

The restaurant design is inspired by Greek culture. The oldest definition of "perfection", goes back to Aristotle, who defined the concept in three: which is complete; which is so good that nothing of the kind could be better; which has attained its purpose.

At Imperfecto, we know that a restaurant space is not complete if it’s not filled with people; that we will try our best to maintain the highest levels of creativity, flavors and service; and that we will always pursue our purpose of bringing magical culinary experiences to our guests.

Our One Michelin Star Experience. Only available at our Communal Chef Table. The experience consists of a 10+ course tasting menu through which you will travel through South America and into the Mediterranean. ** This experience cannot accommodate allergies as the menu is pre-set ** Available on Wednesdays through Saturdays and starts, promptly, at 7 pm (please note we may not be able to accommodate missed courses for late arrivals). This experience spans, approximately, three and half hours. Price per person: $265 Optional wine pairing per person: $180 Pricing excludes tax, beverages, and a 22% gratuity.

What fantastic, carefully prepared food coupled with exquisite service! Our server, Elver, is what every restaurant hopes for in their wait staff. He is highly knowledgeable about the food and wine, thoughtful in his recommendations, and ever present when needed, without hovering or interrupting. Imperfecto is a jewel, not to be missed when dining in DC!

Un lugar bonito y agradable, buena comida, nada espectacular, pedimos del menú porque no nos resultó atractivo el menú de degustación, seis platos más el postre, este último fue la estrella, el eclair, un par de platos muy buenos (tiger prawns, truffle tagliolini) los demás de nivel medio a excepción del ceviche que no está bueno, quizás el problema puede ser las expectativas que uno se crea al comer en un restaurante michelin. Lo que deja mucho que desear es el servicio, tardado por no decir que uno se tiene que estar sirviendo las cosas, desde servirse una cerveza hasta rellenar tu copa de vino y claro que al final te llevan la cuenta sin pedirla invitándote a salir cuando el restaurante está vacío. En resumen, no vale lo que cuesta o no vayan si el chef no está.

We came to celebrate birthday and we really enjoyed our dinner. The service was really good , and the food was very good too. The highlight for me was - steak tar tar and duck breast. I highly recommend duck breast. The truffle pasta was good, but truffle itself didn’t have much flavor (not sure why), the sea bass was good in terms of quality, but the dish itself lacks a bit of taste compared to other plates we tasted. The overall experience is 5 star! Thank you !

Just a beautiful experience from start to finish. Celebrating my mom for belated Mother’s Day. Christian took such good care of us — picked out a perfect cocktail, mom had the best chicken and waffles I have ever tasted and desert was yum! We shared the credo and caviar service - perfect! We had the chocolate and pistachio desert. Chocolate is for the rich and decadent lover and the other is mild and nutty! I can’t say enough kind things about Zois l. He was attentive and made sure we felt special with a few treats during our brunch. Calla also checked in on his and ensured our experience was perfect. I met her a few days before and she recalled. Just exceed my expectations and best of all I live in the condos above this place! It’s my local home away from home now! Can’t wait to be back! Thank you all so much for making this a special day for both of us! - Misty C.

Food was exquisite! My friend and I enjoyed the tasting menu with wine pairing. The staff were excellent and the ambience beautiful.

A michellin star this night that was not stellar however clever and artistic.On this date the restaurant seemed overwhelmed. Our serfer at best was absent,wine glasses empty for at least 15 mimutes he seemed overwhelm by a party of at least 8 at the communal table. Most appetizers the foie gras was temped maybe from the AC but cold. The Duck breast sauce was to reduced to the point of being pure wine sticky consistency.The pistachio yogurt and I believe filo crust was just a blob of yougurt on top of ice cream,the Filo was a non player??? Witness courses for the large party just sitting there by the open area ofcthe kitchen just getting cold by thr minute.While the server foled with the wine service,chef had to help serve food through out the evening. A beautiful restaurant in a shanky neighbor,the head chef is very talented food could have been better so we will be revivsting again however in DC these days there are a lot of good restaurants to choose from!
