Contemporary dining with a Pan Asian Kitchen and modern sushi. Fresh cocktails and extensive wine and sake selections.
Private Dining Room for personal gatherings or corporate dinners.
Really fabulous dining experience. Our waitress made it all happen with a smile!! Amazing sushi, wine, sake bombs, don’t miss the desserts!!!
If you have not tried Imoto, or if you have not been for a few months, please go. The concept has always been fun, and the location is fantastic, but recently they have completely upped the game. Imoto has evolved from being a cool, hip Victory stop to a restaurant that is serious destination for exceptional food. The sous vide octopus takes them two days to prepare and (don't say "I don't like octopus) it rivals any X-star "white tablecloth" place in town for a dish you will remember next week. The whole menu is going the same direction. Don't miss this gem. Behind the curtains is a chef who ruled Dallas for years, and has decided to re-create the delicious inventiveness that sent him into retirement. Trust me.
I have been here probably 4-5 times before but this was by far my favorite visit. I'm not sure if I ordered different things or the items have changed around somewhat but everything was just outstanding - from the food itself to the cocktails to the presentation. We had 2 of the sashimi specials - the cherry blossom salmon melted in your mouth and the hamachi on the Himalayan rock salt was outstanding. I know this was the first time we tried the sous vide octopus and it was awesome - big fan of cooking octopus sous vide because it is so tender. Even the more traditional dishes - Korean fried chicken and beef dumplings were delicious. Particularly impressed because AA had a concert this evening and it was super busy but the server managed to keep everything moving.
Thanks, Chris! We are always trying to improve and we really appreciate the compliments!
Lobster shooters were excellent! Japanese curt very good and very spicy!
We busted before a concert because of convenience, but we'll be back due to great vibe, food and service!
Awesome food well presented
Valentines date. Great place. Nice decor and fantastic sushi.
My wife and I spent a Saturday evening here. We were so impressed with the food, drinks and service. We will be back for the pleasure of dining here! The dumplings and the Manhattan were a must have!!!
Our server was outstanding and the food was amazing...we'll be back!
Hunter was very knowledgeable about the menu and led us down a great path of sushi and sashimi self discovery
Would recommend Hunter to anyone who is looking to explore the menu and needs an expert on drinks and food
More of upscale bar scene. Not romantic as per some reports. It was far to noisy and tables were to close to other people.
Awesome place to go on a date! Had lots of fun. Food was a bit pricey but it was worth it.
Josh was our waiter for our Valentine’s Day dinner reservation! He was attentive and very sweet, made lots of recommendations -which helps if you’re indecisive like me lol. We’re definitely coming back. Real quality sushi! Nothing over the top which I respect. Definitely coming back.
Sushi was just not as great as other local spots.
Wonderful dining experience from beginning to end! Chef never disappoints! Looking forward to future celebrations here.
Food was fresh with some unique takes on typical sushi offering. Our waiter, Hunter, was informative and very friendly.
Food was excellent. Service was very good. Super easy access to the American Airlines Center with valet parking and immediate access to I35 after the concert. Would definitely make it my pre-concert destination.
The food was excellent and the service was very quick. We went quite late and we didn’t feel rushed to get in and out of the restaurant.
The food was fresh and tasty. We enjoyed specialty rolls and a sashimi platter and we enjoyed it!
I love this place. The menu is so unique and I adore the cocktails which are served always beautifully. Wait staff so helpful I choosing from the menu. This was my second time and I will definitely come back.
Staff was very attentive. Food was exceptional. Very cool decor!
We loved dining at Imoto! We tried several different items and shared them at our table. The steamed buns, Chinese broccoli, Korean fried chicken and dim-sum sampler were fantastic! As the evening progressed, the noise level was pretty loud.
AMAZING from staff to food to ambiance. This place has been one of my favorite restaurants and will definitely keep coming back. I have recommended iMoto to several friends and colleagues. Ask for Hunter if he is there. Service is top notch!
We did the OMAKASE experience which was a fantastic way to inside the mind of the Chef and enjoy some incredible flavor combinations.
Amazing! Yummie sushi. Lobster shooters delish as always
Some of the best sushi for the value. Good service too.
This restaurant has many menu items that are not sushi. We were a table of 4, and I am the only one who ordered sushi. The food was amazing. We had Mavs tickets, and the wait staff did an excellent job of helping us get to the game on time. This was our second time to dine here, and we will definitely be back.
The host staff was more than accommodating to our changing reservation size. Hunter was our incredible server for the night. Love the way he explains food, and was always present to attend to us-even on a Friday night. Apps and dinner were great, but the desserts were hard to die for!! We also got to meet one of the main chefs and owners, he was so polite and it was a great surprise to elevate the whole experience! Can’t wait to come back!
Food was good but the music was so loud you could not have a conversation
Food portion is too small as compared with the pricing
We went for New Year’s Eve and it was fabulous! Cool atmosphere and delicious sushi. 👍🏻
Horrible service. Do not recommend this place to ANYONE.
Food was ok, not spectacular but ok. Service was acceptable, minus the part where the server recommend an off menu special and neglected to share the price. You can imagine my surprise when i received the bill & those 4 tiny bites were $40 - a price out of alignment with the rest of the offerings. Also, I let him know I have a wheat allergy at the beginning & yet we had to send two dishes back to be remade as they were topped with wontons. Don’t know that we will need to return.
Went before a concert and had great service and great food. Highly recommend!
The wine was tasty, the sushi was delicious, the ambiance was classy, but casual and the overall experience was fantastic. We will definitely be back.
Having shared plates at a high top was a wonderful way to get ready for a Dallas Stars game. Our server was fantastic as well as the food.
Beautiful dinner at Imoto Dallas with the executive chief Jimmy. The sushi and sashimi are delicious and the plating presentation are superb!
Randomly found this place on Opentable and wasn’t sure what to expect. Food was absolutely delicious. We loved the rolls so much we ended up ordering a second round. It was that good.
Only downside was the server was really uninformed about the menu and couldn’t offer any suggestions on dishes. Regardless, the quality of the food was good enough to make us return in our next trip to Dallas.
