ilov305 Ocean Drive
I made a reservation to celebrate my birthday in the brand new “pitbull restaurant” the website Is still working showing menus and stuffs . So when we arrived and see the menu I realized is now “Wild and Out “ restaurant , menu was totally diffferent so It was a not good experience . the manager offered 20% discount but i don’t think is okay the Ilove305 website is still offering all different menus that you expected to see so be aware .
It is a really nice place. The music was great and the show was Amazing!!
awesome environment good service and food
We went at 9PM Wednesday evening for a birthday celebration. The offer on their website said "Half Off entire check" with Florida ID on Wednesday nights. We mentioned this when we arrived but waiter was not aware of this and told us he'd check.
After it took 30 minutes to get our drinks (the restaurant was empty except for one other table inside) we were contemplating leaving when the very nice young waiter finally returned and apologized for the wait. We ordered, and the food came in a reasonable time. It was all fine, nothing exceptional but reasonably editable. It's on ocean drive and it's a tourist trap so everything was twice as expensive as it should be, so half price makes it fair for locals.
When the Check came it was not discounted. The waiter apologized and came back again with only the food being discounted. We asked the waiter and he said it just applies to food but, the website says "Entire Check" no other conditions. The waiter was getting really stressed and for a $40 difference we didn't want to fight, especially since it was a birthday so we told the waiter not to stress it.
His 20% of the full price was already included as is usual on Ocean Drive.
It is false advertising but, it wasn't the waiters fault.
Maybe on a weekend night it might be a good party place to have a drink, but there's a lot better food in South Beach anytime. I like Pitbull but I don't think his brand should be associated with this restaurant.
Won't be returning.
Fun food really good, think I was over charged for the chocolate piñata but all good
Absolutely terrible experience in an almost empty restaurant. They were overstaffed but they all seemed miserable and service was nonexistent. After an HOUR we had not received a complete first round of drinks for the table and several of my guests went to the bar and just started their own tabs. Food was just mediocre Mexican food and took almost TWO HOURS to come out. There were exactly 10 other customers at tables while we were there. Whole experience was one of the worst service experiences of my life. I was embarrassed that I recommended this place for our group’s special night out. I don’t know how it’s still open. Wish I could give it zero stars.
Cool experience. Love the violin techno music live.
Poor service and overpriced drinks
Our 4 standard drinks were over $100
Place was fun. Manager and Server were great. The food was not good at all. Best thing was the yuca fries. Drinks were great! Will not be back.
Server was sweet but barely understood English. Margaritas were mostly sweet mix and hardly any tequila. Asked for a medium rare burger and it came out burnt to a crisp. Carnitas Street Tacos were over seasoned. It was a cool place to go to see but would never go back for food.
Exelent food and and atmosphere
WE CAME AT LUNCH TIME FOR MY SISTERS BIRTHDAY AND IT WAS AMAZING. BEAUTIFUL INSIDE GREAT for insta photos and the food was amazing too I would recommend the ham croquetas.
To many fees. They charged a resort fee and a non- grat srv fee of 20% . I took it as it was the gratuity already.
Don't waste your time! This restaurant was booked with the expectation of it being the restaurant that is advertised on the website with the same menu. None of which is true. This restaurant is under new ownership "as of 3 weeks ago", is currently under construction inside (while seating people inside as well), totally different menu - nothing like actual ilov305 - but kept their $$$$ prices, nothing available from the bar except margaritas and bottled beer, exposed light sockets in walls & they'll be changing their name to El Dorado 305 as of Nov. 4.
This website allowed me to book reservations when we got to the place the place is no longer open/there.
I loved everything about this place. Need more steak options on the menu though.
First of all, we were never told that the Star attraction, Pit Bull had sold the business and converted into a Mexican restaurant. When we were called to confirm the reservation is when we were advised that it was a Mexican restaurant now. Not until we personally asked after arriving for dinner, were we told of the change in ownership.
Our table area was a little too dark and it made even harder to read the extremely crowded menu, with very small print.
I thought the food was good, but very over priced for being Mexican food. I do understand the rent is high and you have to pay the bills.
I must say that Mario, unlike some of the other staff, really stood out as being a very hard worker, always hustling back and forth, inside and outside. He was also very cordial and polite.
I don’t think I would go back, or recommend the place.
I showed up for my 11 o clock reservation, and they were closed.. in fact they even said they weren’t Ilov305 and refused to take my Groupon. This was horrible service I will never come back. I came from every far to just get to a closed restaurant.
I made a reservation for out door seating and it wasn’t available when we arrived. Our food order was completely wrong. I ordered a steak quesadilla and I got chicken, my wife ordered a chicken bowl and got a veggie bowl.
Terrible customer service. Will never return. Beware 20% tip automatically included but they will circle the tip section the receipt trying to trick you into double tipping. We chose a bottle of Moet champagne off the menu for $81. They presented us with a random bottle of Chandon and proceeded to tell us that this was the Moët. We disputed this. They then told us the Moet was $250 despite the $81 price listed on the menu.
food and drinks were not good enough for the price. It was almost empty and they were painting on Sunday brunch time! I do not recommended it
Enjoying life so why not celebrate .The violinist was all that .He really did his thing. I see him going far🙏🏾
Too many taxes applied to the bill
Horrible food service don’t waste your money
The place is super chic. We went on a Wednesday night so it was not crowded which was great for us. The food was really good. I ordered the Branzino and it was delicious. The staff was super friendly and nice. My only issue is that they charge a "20% non gratuity service charge" that nobody could explain to me what it was. So on top of that, you have to leave tip. It seems a lot for a service charge that nobody knows what it is. Very disappointing. Not sure if I'll go back.
We called to switch our reservation to a later time and it would’ve been the opportunity to let us know of the limited items available. We were celebrating a bday and wanted to have a nice time but we were sat in the bar/lounge area which was extremely loud. After ordering drinks, we were told of items out of stock such as all the steaks, some of the sides and appetizers. We decided we were gonna go somewhere else and we spent almost $70 for two unfinished drinks and an appetizer that wasn’t that great. They also included gratuity. There’s really nothing great about this place.
Great experience and a bit pricey. I love the live performance he did great
From decor to service to food it was an amazing experience. Will be back when in Miami
Everything was perfect just next time, They offer the hookah I would like to know I am being charged for it lol 😂 overall place was LIT! Love it beautiful place
Had an excellent time , food was amazing.
iLov305 is a blast with great food, entertainment, and staff. Would highly recommend!
There seemed to be an issue with the lights and the music. I couldn't tell if it was on purpose or not, but it seemed like a mess. It was very disruptive: In the middle of a conversation the music would suddenly go up insanely, and we had to shout. Then it would go low again and suddenly we're shouting. Funny, but not fun in the moment. You'd think if there's one thing Pitbull learned in showbiz it would be lights and music.
The food was good and service was good.
Watch out: The itemized receipt includes a "Non-grat service fee" of 18%, and the credit card receipt for the restaurant has a line for "tip" (WHICH OUR WAITRESS CIRCLED!!!) Are you kidding me? Very sneaky. It's the same thing and already included in the receipt. Don't be fooled.
Everything is great as far as food and ambiance...
The only thing that ticks me off is that they ad this non gratuity service fee which they don’t tell you is a tip that’s already included in the price... I’m from New York so I tip 20% no matter what
This is their way of getting a double tip which in my mind is a scam I’m sorry
I probably won’t go back because of it
The restaurant inside is beautiful. The lighting is very pretty and it creates an intimate ambiance. I really liked sitting in the booths. It was comfortable and private. The waiter was very attentive and took his time explaining the menu. It is a steakhouse, so I highly recommend that you order a steak, you won't regret it. The Ribeye was Delicious and it melted in my mouth. We also shared the Seafood Paella, which was out of this world. The Guava Cheesecake was also great. We had an early dinner, so there was music playing, but it was not blasting. We were able to have a conversation without shouting. Overall it was a wonderful evening and we really enjoyed the meal and the service. Will definitely return to ILOV305 whenever I'm in Miami.
Horrible attention, our table wasnt ready when we get there, been there waiting for 1 hour and no one take care of us. Horrible
Wasn’t that impress with the place. Music was good but not much entertainment going on. We went on a Friday night and it was kind of empty. We ordered appetizers that were good. Signature Drinks are big ok for the price but very sweet. Not my favorites.
I will say that the food was delectable, the service was great and the vibe was very energetic even though it got a bit too loud that we had to talk loud to hear each other. My biggest issue is the cost which was outrageous! Not worth it for the cost AT ALL. For a Sunday brunch with unlimited mimosas for 2, the cost (without tip) came out to $255. There is 7% sales tax, a 2% resort tax and an automatic 20% service fee charge which IS NOT a gratuity fee. It's not worth it in the end.
The brunch is not a good value. They only let your table order 5 items at a time. My friend was ordering all Hispanic food that I couldn’t eat and they wouldn’t let me order any food that I liked until we got those 5 items. The eggs are powdered. It’s not worth $50 a person. Also we asked if they could sit us at larger table while the restaurant was completely empty and they sat us in the most uncomfortable spot possible. We were in a tiny little walkway to the closet next to the stairs and we literally couldn’t move.
LOVED IT! The food is expensive but worth it. Loved the service, loved the food and especially loved seeing Pitbull!
