Very good food. I had wonderful lamb chops.
Great food. Great services
Celebrating a birthday! Delicious food. Maybe next time we will be seated in the main dining area. We had a reservation and we were seated across from the bar! Overall comfortable yummy food!
Everything was fine. Noise level star rating may b skewed since we were almost the only folks in the place (Sunday night just before closing). My only negative is wish the lamb gyro meat had been shaved rather than chunks. Too chewy. Consequently couldn’t get enough taste of other things on the sandwich when taking a bite. Also butter knife wasn’t sharp enuf to cut through my side of asparagus without fear of asparagus pieces flying across the table.
We had an early dinner on a Sunday night to celebrate our 40th Anniversary so it was nice and quiet so we could talk and enjoy ourselves. We have been there many times before and always loved it. This time was no different. Our waiter was great ....one of the best we have ever had anywhere. Our appetizer was delicious , both entrees were excellent, my drink and husbands wine were great also.
The only negative was our dessert which we were going to share - a cherry cobbler- it was not good at all. We ate a few bites and when our waiter checked on us, told him the dessert was not good. He apologized and refunded the cost of the dessert.
Overall it was a great dinner and great night!
Service was EXTREMELY slow. Our waiter was obviously new and had a language problem with English. Only one bartender on a busy Saturday night. We won’t be going back.
We were having an end of semester celebration and I wanted a round table. Monday was kind of quiet so this place worked perfectly. The food was terrific and the service was speedy but relaxing. Plenty of light-my own pet peeve when a restaurant is too dark. Drinks were refilled in a timely manner. We also celebrated a birthday which was really nice and sweet. This will become my go to place for a quiet meal.
No matter when you go - lunch or dinner - Ilios Noche never disappoints!
We enjoyed every delicious bite of our appetizers, main courses an desserts! Service is attentive, food is prepared very well and ambiance is fun.
Always a great experience at this neighborhood favorite. Food is consistent and perfect,y portioned. Appetizers are creative and a terrific pairing with the craft cocktails. Dinner with a light Mediterranean flair. Drink and wine specials most weeknights. Service, best in the area. Stratos, one of the owners adds a “welcome to my place” feel that keeps you coming back. Try it, you will be back!
This restaurant had a pretty good menu. It was a bit noisy, though. Overall, fairly good service and prices.
Delicious food and excellent service!
We waited at the hostess table until the chef raised the attention of the hostess to seat us. We were shown a table and waited for the only server in the entire restaurant to finally bring menus. Ordered ice tea, didn’t like the items on the menu, paid for the tea, and left. We will not return..
Always good. They seemed to be short handed today which was apparent in the service.
Attentive service. Kept drinks filled.
However, given a table next to one of the exit doors for the bathroom after confirming on the phone that the table was not near the bathroom.
Nice layout and great service. Server was attentive, but not overbearing. Ordered chicken-lemon soup, spinach pie, Caesar salad, Country Greek salad, chicken lemonata and lamb shank. Everything was tasted fresh and the lamb shank was meat-in-your-mouth good! In short, everything was delicious and what was supposed to be hot was served piping hot! The server even made a great suggestion from the wine list.
Warning: come hungry as the portions served are large. Not realizing this when ordering, I had included a side order for grilled asparagus, but it never showed up and I was glad for it as I had no room left. (Did not appear on the bill either.) Sadly, so full, no opportunity to try the desserts.
If you like Greek/Eastern Mediterranean food, this is the place to come.
Girlfriends and I enjoyed our experience. Nadia, our server, was cordial, prompt, and responsive to our requests. We enjoyed the food very much, especially the lamb chops and crazy lasagna.
The atmosphere & food were g
This restaurant is absolutely outstanding. World class food and service. Chef James has managed to bring authentic and delicious food to charlotte. Keep it up guys!
The ambiance was very nice. Great atmosphere. Food was excellent as well as the service.
We went to splurge and have a great meal. I knew what i wanted went I went...chicken parm. It is SO good! And I knew there would be plenty of leftovers for the following day. We had a great time. Appetizer, two glasses of wine each, side salads and entrees. $97 without tip. Don't go if you want a quiet time to talk. But do go if you want great food and a good time. Their craft beer selection is always great. Service was a little slow - we went on a Sat night - but that's OK because we were in no rush. We'll be back!
Great food! Wonderful , attentive wait staff.
Shannon, our waitress, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything exactly correct. She dealt with allergies and special requests with a smile and prompt service. It was a very enjoyable experience all the way around!
Our 9 person party was seated at our reservation time. The drinks were great (try the Aphrodite!) and the food wonderful. Our waitress was attentive. We were seated toward the back of the restaurant and we could hear every word from one end of the table to the other. Would definitely go back.
We enjoyed a wonderful meal. Our waitress was terrific!
It was a good dining experience but nothing extraordinary
took a friend for a birthday celebration, Server was pleasant, attentive, knowledgeable
Menu is really great Food was presented well and delicious, she will take her family the next time they visit, she said it was a real celebration Highly recommend
Super great time for my anniversary. We love this place.
Did not like being seated in back, there were 2 of us and there were eventually 2 big parties back there. I should have spoken up right away, it seems that older people are seated in back. Will not let that happen again. Food was good, service ok. Very noisy. I should have known better. There were plenty of tables in front.
Excellent! Best lamb chops ever !
Really impressed with the service and quality of food. Embarrassed I haven't been here before as we live so close but will make it a regular place from now on.
Always consistent- food and service is excellent! Great Barolo on the menu.
Food was great waitress was a little slow but overall great!
My friends and I decided to order multiple appetizers in order to enjoy a range of dishes. Yum! Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and excellent at explaining the details of the various dishes in order to make delicious choices. She was accurate each time and our dinner was excellent!!
We go to Ilios Noche from time to time. Never disappointed! Always great. And Tuesday was half price on many bottle of wine.
Have always liked Ilios Noche. The food is fresh and creatively prepared and they have a terrific wine list. I was absolutely thrilled to find the kale and beet salad on the recent menu. It was one of my favorites at the now-closed Nolen Kitchen. Service is always excellent -- everyone is helpful and polite. You won't be disappointed at Ilios Noche; check it out and see for yourself!
If you like Mediterranean food and are willing to pay a higher price for it, you will enjoy Ilios Noche. The food was delicious but a bit pricey. Enjoy the desserts. Our waitress could have been a bit more attentive during the main course. I'd consider this restaurant for special occasions only.
I had the Grilled Marinated Lamb Chops. They were good, but not great. (Could have had a little more seasoning.) My two companions both had the Moussaka. It was a large portion, (both took home half of their serving). The Moussaka had a great taste (though to some people it might have been a little too salty). One of us got the blueberry margarita. It was very good. There were a few slip ups (no utensils on the table when we got our food), but overall the service was very good.
