The restaurant's decor echoes the diverse menu, combining the architectural richness of Old Lebanon with an attitude and style that is unmistakeably New York. A DJ sets the mood with music from around the globe and soft, amber lighting punctuated by candles create a sexy, sophisticated atmosphere in which to enjoy a relaxed meal. The cuisine, decor and ambiance come together to create a new world for your senses to explore, whispering gently in your ear, ilili.

What Insiders Are Saying
Fancy Lebanese food in Nomad.
Always great food. Service excellent.
Fabulous. Everyone was so kind, patient and knowledgeable about each dish. Thank you.
Food was EXCELLENT! We were in the side room which was quieter. Service was slow but friendly & helpful.
The tabouleh and hummus were fair quality at best. Expected better since they are common Lebanese dishes. We are Lebanese, so tough critics, but have had better at most everywhere else.
Had the brunch at this beautiful restaurant. It was wonderful. We enjoyed a pomegranate cava with our meal. I highly recommend it for a special meal.
We were located in a very hot stuffy room upstairs
The food was ok
Food was great, service good. However had to wait over 30 minutes to be seated and it took another 30 minutes after that to get wine.
We dined here on the reccomendation of our daughter. Maybe this is for a bit younger crowd than we are and the noice level a bit high but nothing to complain about! The dinner was a very nice experience indeed. This was a first time we have eaten “Lebanese food” and we will certainly do that again. The grilled meat platter was wonderful as well as the deserts . The Lebanese red was ok, not more. The service was perfect!
Delicious food that can’t be beat; great ambiance and service.
Our waiter was so knowledgeable and truly carried the spirit of the restaurant being Lebanese himself. We fully enjoyed our time and every single dish was amazing, as well as the wine selection.
We had a wonderful experience! The food, service and atmosphere was exceptional!!! We had six at our table and everyone was saying it was the best food! Our waiter was attentive and the manager, Lauren was so friendly and made sure we had a memorable evening! Thanks you so much for a fantastic evening; we will definitely be back!
Omg. The food here is amazing! I brought my boyfriend to surprise him and he loved it all. Would definitely return for the octopus and the raw beef.
Food is excellent but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Not the type of experience you would expect in a place like that.
We had reservations and were shown to the bar area when we walked in. Within 10 minutes we were seated at our table. The service was excellent. As the evening wore on In the restaurant became more crowded, the noise level became close to unbearable, making it hard to have a conversation without shouting.
The food was excellent—We had the moussaka appetizer and the duck/chicken shawarma appetizer. Both nicely prepared. For entres we had lamb chops and lamb makloubeh. The lamb chops were ordered medium but came rare and had to be sent back (the waiter was prompt, cheery and helpful about that.) The makloubeh (lamb shank) was deboned and very tasty but so rich that the portion could readily be shared by two.
If we go back it will be either well before or after peak hours, as the noise at peak time made the experience slightly unpleasant.
Waited over an hour to be seated despite reservations
Excellent creative cooking, lovely service
Whenever we go to NYC we make it a point to try to get to Ilili for dinner. The tapas are plentiful and delicious!
as always, food is wonderful. our waitress was so pleasant, but the worst service ever! been here a number of times and always look forward to trying something new each visit, but the service this time will make me think twice about coming back. a diner should NEVER need to ask for water, a napkin, or anything else.
We were seated upstairs which was much quieter than downstairs. Food was a modern take on Lebanese classics. The whole roasted chicken was a highlight of the meal.
Very good food, average service
Had us wait 20 minutes for our reserved table
Eventually compensated us with a round of drinks
Waiter was slow
This used to be one of my favorites but no more. Everything was sort of flavorless, nothing special.
Wonderful tasty food. Very creative dishes. Good service
The food was very good!! They have lots of vegan and vegetarian options
Anniversary, which they helped us celebrate beautifully:) The upstairs area was not as prettily decorated as the downstairs main hall, But it was much quieter, which we appreciated. Overall fantastic experience, will def be back!
This was my second time at ilili and the food was just as delicious. The atmosphere is memorable and the service is great. I would definitely recommend ordering a bunch of small plates paired with their unique cocktails or Lebanese wines.
The place looks cool until you’re led to a low-ceilinged auxiliary dining room off to the side with cramped tables, echoing voices and no charm. Very disappointing, I wouldn’t recommend this place. Servers seemed totally apathetic as well.
We ventured to Ilili based on a glowing recommendation from a family member. We were not disappointed. The food was exquisite and creative--from the 'crowd favorite' brussel sprouts to the lamb dish. We also enjoyed Lebanese wine as well as amazing craft cocktails. Dessert was interesting too although extremely pricey (don't know if we would order again). However the best part, was the staff. Our server (Nasser) was outstanding. He took time to explain specific dishes, their history and any special twist. It made our dinner special. We definitely plan to return.
Had a dinner with my mother
Great ambiance and style. Downstairs is more vibrant than upstairs (with greater levels of noise obviously) so worth deciding what you want when you make the booking.
Came here for family Thanksgiving and had the best Brussels sprouts of my life!
La peor elección en el día de acción de gracias. Los Meseros corrían. La comida como un autoservicio. La mesera poco atenta. Pagamos 400 dólares y nos arrepentimos mucho. Este restaurante ha perdido mucho.
Had a wonderful thanksgiving dinner here. The special menu was delicious as were the drinks.
Turkey was dry and flavorless. Service was poor and rushed (tried to make us use the same glass for a different red wine, at $18 a glass of wine!!). Not gonna come here to spend $150/person.
Went for Thanksgiving. Appetizers were great. Then we were served cold grilled meat for the main course which was kind of fixed after pointing it out (it became warmer but not hot). And then we waited 45 minutes between the main course and dessert. Got served the wrong dessert. No apologies, nothing comped, not even a glass of wine offered for the 2.5 hours we spent in there to have 3 courses. Different people kept asking us if everything was great - clearly no communication between our server, manager and host. We would love to return but it was a very bad experience purely due to service.
Food was excellent.
Service was great.
Entire staff was attentive.
Will definitely be back
Second visit, slightly subpar experience. Probably due to Thanksgiving crowd the seasoning was mediocre and dishes were served before probably cooking off the sour-ness of berries. Meat was done quite well, especially the lamb shawarma. Did not met same standard as first visit, but still a pleasant meal.
Family lunch (12 people)
Food was great!
My server was fantastic. I was hoping for better dessert options but the chocolate cake was good.
Leaving the place after having a great dinner the women who checked our coat was so rude. Rushing us to give her our tickets. That was very disappointing.
