Best Lebanese food ever had! The tuna tartare was fantastic, as was the fried beef kibbeh. Even the simple salad was special! Seems like the chef likes cinnamon (as do I) - there was just a hint of it in many dishes!!!! Great wine list, too!
even tho we has a reservation they make us wait 30 min for the table. after taht the service was good and the food awesome. is a lil expensive. is super noisy so u cant actually have conversation. but the deco and vibe is nice.
More refined versions of the classics, and all of it exceptionally good. The room is a little too load, the service a little checked out, and the tables too small to hold a proper assortment of mezze, but most of that is forgiven because the kitchen is so good at what they do. If you love Lebanese good, just go.
We had a lovely time
This was my third time dining in Ilili. My previous experiences were really amazing but this time I had a terrible time. We were seated upstairs in the small room. It was very dark, and we had a hard time seeing what we ate. We got the hummus with basterma and the basterma was extremely dry. The mixed grill dish came cold, it probably waited at least 20 minutes on the counter for a waiter to grab it. All the dishes were rushed through, we couldn't really enjoy our wine. In addition to these, the AC was so strong, our whole group was shivering by the end of the dinner. On top of all these, the two tables next to us got into a fight with a whole lot of drama and none of the waiters or anyone from the management came to apologize from us. The whole night was terrible and I don't think I'll go to Ilili again.
One of my favorite places for brunch. Especially if you have a big group of 10 people. Food is excellent. Delicious Lebanese cuisine.
Amazing food, felt like i was eating in the middle east!
They didn’t pay attention to the note I put on the reservation. They didn’t know how to redeem my reward points
Very lovely experience. Food is outstanding, service was very good. A little loud but manageable.
I had not been to ilili in years and it did not disappoint. So delicious! We had a vegan, 2 vegetarians and one meat eater- were were all very satisfied!
Wheat bread and wheat bread falafal should be available too.
One of my favorite restaurants and it was great as always. Service here is helpful and knowledgeable- Zack Was great. Will be back.
When you walk into Ilili, you are greater by a very happy and hospitable staff. I showed up a little late for my reservation which was no problem they sat us immediately. We had the pleasure of meeting Chef Mike. The pastry Chef Orlando made the most delicious desserts. I will definitely be coming back. The food and service was amazing!
Outstanding restaurant: the food, the service and the atmosphere were excellent. Different twist to Lebanese cuisine. Will return again for sure.
The food was unique and very tasty, especially the Brussels sprouts, duck, roasted chicken and lamb shank. Service was truly outstanding. Would definitely recommend and go back.
Always a fabulous meal. The service could be a bit more attentive, but the atmosphere and fabulous food make up for it.
Delicious Lebanese food with many choices. Great for sharing. Enjoyed the quieter nook above the dining room which was so nice for conversation. Good food experience!
Great server and tasty food. Made a whole meal with hot and cold mezze.
Great place the best Lebanese food
Great drinks
Superb food. Terrific service
We went here with all my foodie work friends last Friday.decor was modern chic, minimal and elegant, music is a tad loud but we were still able to carry on conversations. We came in with a group of five ladies and we were seated promptly. The waitstaff were attentive. Their cocktails were yummy and light. We had fattoush, hommus, beef fried kibeh, falafel, Riz and Chankleesh for appetizers. Each one was very flavorful except for the falafel. I had citrus trout for my main course. The trout was tasty, flaky, a few sprigs of wilted Arugula was sprinkled on top of the trout. We didn't get dessert as we were full. One star was taken off as there were few fishbones that were in my fish. I wasn't expecting fishbones so I wasn't inspecting and had almost accidentally swallowed a few.
The Food is delicious. Really amazing.
Ebony was incredible and truly saved the night. She helped me so much. The waiter was so funny and prompt.
We enjoyed a delicious meal and a delightful evening at Ilili. If you enjoy trying out different cuisines in a pretty setting with excellent service, this is the place for you. Our waitperson suggested ordering one hot Mesa, one cold Mesa and a main course to share between the two of us. We gladly followed his lead. I highly recommend the brussel sprouts made with fig jam, grapes and walnuts. We loved it. We also ordered the feta cheese dish that was more complex than it sounds. It was served with chopped tomatoes, onions, olive oil and herbs - very creamy and delicious. That was followed by our main course - steak with eggplant, onions and potatoes. I can only say we left nothing on our plates! Lastly, we ordered the Lebanese ice cream which came with complimentary “white coffee”. It was actually an aromatic clear tea - different and a perfect ending.
Amazing! One of the best Lebanese I've ever had. We will be coming back!
Was lovely after so many years hearing about Phillipe Massoud’s shop
Beautifully executed Lebanese with just enough twist to keep it real...nice buzz to the place too...service ok, reception hostess underwhelming...but would come back in a heartbeat
Mom and I come here basically after any church day at Marble Collegiate just up 5th ave. We usually get the Cold/Hot Mezze (Tapas) and share things. The Brussel Sprouts are a favorite with fig jam, yogurt and Walnuts. The service is attentive and friendly and I highly recommend for a nice brunch out.
The food is good and tasty, but the portions are on the small side considering the price.
Great food with some interesting combinations. Our waiter was excellent and very accommodating. Very loud music and lots of young children made for a very loud atmosphere. Maybe could organize space so if you want a little quieter experience be away from the big family get togethers. Enjoyed our experience overall
We had been disappointed recently by our favorite Mediterranean restaurant and looked for a new one and found a great one in Ilili. This Lebanese - Mediterranean establishment is superb. Great location - fabulous bar - large - loud and energetic dinning room. My party of 5 definitely contributed to the celebratory air. The traditional courses hummus, tabouli, Lebanese Thyme Salad, Mixed Grill and the small plates were all amazing. The service was exceptional. We found our new favorite Mediterranean.
Our Server John was absolutely amazing pointed us in the right direction and we had food that was outstanding
AMAZING!! It was my friend's 71st birthday and I requested a quiet table as everyone is hard of hearing - they sat us in the upstairs Tented Room, which was PERFECT! Everyone agreed and most sincerely said that "this was the best meal of my life" - that's over 200 years of eating! The hummus was creamy, the Brussels Sprouts indescribably delicious, the Kibbe Naya insane... every dish was a surprise for the palate. The service is attentive without being overbearing, the server knowledgable, and the Manager was genuinely caring and made sure we all had an amazing time. HIGHLY recommended!
Always great food with excellent service. The interior has never matched the cuisine for me, but the music is always great. It’s always a bit loud but I have never once been disappointed.
Great Lebanese food. Recommend the brussel sprouts.
Disappointed overall with the quality of the food and experience. Great space tho.
Food was great! Poor List of beer brands.
Even though I had made a reservation over a week ago, when we got there they wanted to have us sit in the boring upstairs area (we didn’t even though there was an upstairs). After being told no several times we had to insist that we wanted to sit in the main dining area since it was my birthday dinner and we wanted it to be fun. Finally a different person came along and told us they would accommodate us in the main hall. That was so annoying. But the rest of the night was great, the food was delicious and our server was amazing.
If you are looking for Labonese delicious food, Ililis is the place to be.
I LOVE THIS PLACE, THE FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE AND THE SERVICE IS EVEN BETTER.
Food was very bland. I asked for Tabasco and got harissa which they charged me $2.00. Will not go back.
