Since 2007, our home in the Flatiron District has introduced the passion and generosity of the Lebanese table to hundreds of thousands of curious diners while comforting native Lebanese guests with a celebration of their homeland and values. Owner and Executive Chef Philippe Massoud expertly crafts a sophisticated blend of modern and traditional Lebanese cuisine drawing influences from the span of the ancient Silk Road trade routes.
Our warm and generous hospitality drives our mission to make every guest and team member feel genuinely welcomed and fundamentally honored.
We are here to share; to pass fresh pita bread and mezze amongst old friends and new; to celebrate life and its delicious bounty. We invite you to experience our old world hospitality, timeless generosity, and tireless dedication to uncovering and sharing the rich traditions of Lebanon and the Levant.

Fabulous dishes, great flavors and spicing, great service. On the pricey side
We had such a wonderful dinner with our server, Mert. He made our experience special and suggested great items and pairings. The manager was very helpful in selecting a wonderful bottle of red wine and they attentively never let our glasses get empty. The whole chicken was prepared tableside and it was delicious. Will definitely be coming back!
The food was delicious! I am Gluten free and our server was so nice and kind and helped me with my selections.... the menu is VERY gluten free friendly! My boyfriend and I got seated upstairs in the tent room which was lovely and intimate, quieter and more romantic, just our style!
The falafal and mix grille were out of this world! Nice Lebanese wine selection as well!!
Food was overpriced for the quality and quantity. Traditional middle-eastern hummus comes garnished with pine-nuts. To spend and extra $4 does not make sense. The food was barely warm and did not have a fresh flavor. This is the second time I have been here and will not be going back. If you visit, go to the lounge during happy hour, have a drink and small plate. That is sufficient
Excited about the recommendations our server provided. The food was amazing. The shawarma was a little bit dry, other than that everything was excellent and had variation of flavor. Would definitely come back
Highly recommend this restaurant when in the mood for Syrian/Lebanese cuisine and high quality cocktails.
Mixologist Mike was amazing. His cocktail creations were fantastic and was a great conversationalist as well!
Had the fixed price lunch option and the portions are worth the money with amazing taste. Coupled with hot-of-the-oven breads, the experience was divine!
The last two times I've been to ilili, the service has been disappointing. The waiter seemed annoyed to have to serve us. He was quick, dismissive and mostly unavailable every time we looked for him. As a Lebanese, I think highly of ilili as a restaurant representing my culture. It's behooves the restaurant to invest more time at training its staff to not only do their job properly, but also have the proper demeanor doing it.
Took a friend to Ilili who was visiting from out of town. We had the mixed grill and it was absolutely fantastic. The garlic sauces pair perfectly with the meat and vegetables
Great food and service.’
Ilili' s atmosphere was welcoming and lively. We brought two grade school kids and they also felt welcomed. The food was varied and delicious - not to heavy on sauces and spices, and very fresh.
The wait staff was friendly and helpful and not overbearing.
It was noisy as we passed the 8:00 mark, but we left soon after so it never got too crazy for our family.
We loved ilili! The service was amazing! Our waiter (who also happens to be an Opera singer) was attentive, knowledgeable, kind, and funny. He guided us through the menu to give us the ultimate food and beverage experience. The food was flavorful and a true delight! It was a night to remember!
Was there for the brunch Prix fixe, got the lamb burger, it was off the hook! I could eat two in a row! My only complaint was that I had my dish boxed up and they didn't put everything on my plate into the container which is a huge pet peeve of mine. I didn't ask for my food to be thrown out, why wouldn't you pack all of it?
Amazing good! Delicious cocktails! Good atmosphere, a little loud. Good service
Went to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Portions are big, enjoyed mezzes more than entrees (mezzes are the highlight of menu).
Great meal and drinks
Great food! Best hummus in NY!
Perfect birthday lunch.
Such a lovely experience every time we come. This has become our go to place for special occasion. The food is fantastic with plenty of vegetarian options, service is excellent and the place is large. Muhammara is the best ever. Fresh pita, Brussels sprouts go die for, interesting take on falafel, smoky baba ghanoush. Thank you everyone for making it a great experience. The big surprise was the amazing baklava on the house to celebrate our anniversary. Be back soon. No pics today, was caught up enjoying the food.
Meal was delicious! Everything was very, very good. Wish they stipulated on the Open Table reservation that it was a fixed price menu for Valentine's Day. I also had a weird experience where, at the end of the night a waitress handed me one of the center pieces on the table, roses in a glass, and told my wife and I we could take it home. I figured sure I'll give it to my mom because she was watching our kids so we could have a date night. As I'm leaving, I got stopped by a hostess who was doing her best to stay calm, in utter disbelief someone would steal a table setting. I explained that a waitress said we could keep it and handed it to us, but it was clear she wasn't buying it. I just peaced out before it became a Larry David esque scenario where I wanted to call the waitress out there and say hey, explain to her I'm not a thief but that would've just made the whole situation really, really weird. Still going back there despite the embarrassment because the food was phenomenal.
Ore fix menus are always a bad idea... the food was mediocre
Did the Valentine's prix trix. I unfortunately had a reservation at 6:45 while an 8pm Broadway show. Poor planning on my end for a Friday evening. So I showed up earlier and explained the situation to the host who was very understanding and made accommodations 15 mins earlier than the expected time. The entire meal was well put together, portion size was just enough to fill me up. The dessert was the weakest link. While the chocolate/raspberry pastry was good, would have been better if they had gone a more traditional Lebanese route and got creative. Think Ashtha or kineffe etc. Overall would recommend the fare to anyone looking for an upscale dining experience.
Was here for their Valentine’s Day Pre- fix menu. The service was exceptional from the hostess stand to our waitress and other wait staff. The food was delicious, we were able to try their kebab, hummus/pita bread, Brussels sprouts, and falafel. Our entrees were the lobster and duck breast. We enjoyed every bite of our meal and fully enjoyed dining here, would definitely dine again and recommend.
Food was very tasty. Good flavors and fresh tasting. Not the best hummus or falafel I've had in my life, but it was still good. Portions were small for the price, so be prepared for that. No vegan options for entrees, just mezze.
Service was what was disappointing. Not very attentive and our table was tucked away upstairs. It was cozy but I prefer the nice dining room downstairs
I would still come back if I wanted to dine in a "nicer" restaurant. But I can probably find comparable quality of food for a much better price elsewhere.
One of the best dining experiences. Food was amazing.
I found it obnoxious that the maitre d' sat us in a nondescript room with no ambiance when the restaurant was hopping and had a lot of energy.
food had gone down in quality A LOT ! noise level makes it difficult to have a conversation and service is loud as well, and quite slow.
The food was great, especially the lentil soap.
Service was extremely poor
Our food was delicious. We shared a Mixed Grill platter as a main course for our table of 4, and had 7 other mezzas to start. ( so hard to decide from the delicious list of mezzas- could have ordered one of each!). Our waitress was very knowledgeable about Lebanese wines which were a wonderful accompaniment to the food.
It was some of the best Lebanese food and wine I have ever had, and I am Lebanese. The service is impeccable, and the space is just lovely. I will definitely be back.
Food quality is not what it used to be. Very disappointed
We were visiting from Philly and they were out of shawerma by 10:30? Very disappointed!
Great food and service! Will definitely return and recommend to a friend
Beautiful place to eat Lebanese food! The food tasted amazing. The decor, lighting even the bathroom was inviting.
I just loved everything about Ilili - I truly felt welcomed and taken care of - from the bar and lounge to wait for your party to arrive and have lovely drinks to dining area, food and amazing service. We shared a whole chicken with rice, had babaganoush and falafel and ended our evening with hot chocolate and molten chocolate cake. My water glass was always full and my drinks were right on time - Salt & Smokey is a winner! Thank you team Ilili for making our evening truly special!
I enjoyed the food and especially the drinks! Get the Brussels sprouts. The hummus was great, falafel not so much.
Amazing food. Amazing service. Must have the lamb mouklube and the kinefe
Excellent customer service and delicious food. We had the pre fixe for restaurant week and we’re celebrating our engagement and our sever Chris was a gentleman and made the evening extremely special. Hats off to the crew at Ilili they strive to make a wholly unique experience in both flavors and service. We will certainly be back
Went here for restaurant week. The restaurant looked incredible at first, and my wife and I were incredibly excited after seeing the interior. However, we were guided through, stairs and hallways - as though we were in the Grand Bazaar - to a small, dark room in the back. We were squeezed into 2 seats by a nice, wobbling table to enjoy the meals ahead.
We had the 2 apps + 1 main + 1 desert fixed menu. At the end of our meal, we could not give the food was nothing more than mediocre. The appetizers were nothing special, the mains satisfactory and the desert (we both chose the Knefe) May have been microwaved. Come to think of it, the Knefe was more like cheese sticks then dessert.
Not sure how this place got such good reviews but do yourself a favor and spend your $100 elsewhere.
we did the restaurant week lunch.. the service was terrible.. they all seemed overwhelmed.. the salad was full of Pita chips and not slot of salad.. the chicken wrap was dry, no dressing it sauce and when we asked for some they brought it when we were half done.. we complained to a flor manager and they offered us desert but we didn’t have time and honestly couldn’t believe they didn’t comp at lest one if the terrible wraps
