We’re honored to share the cuisine and culture of Lebanon in the heart of New York City. Since 2007, our home in the Flatiron District has introduced the passion and generosity of the Lebanese table to hundreds of thousands of curious diners while comforting native Lebanese guests with a celebration of their homeland and values. Owner and Executive Chef Philippe Massoud expertly crafts a sophisticated blend of modern and traditional Lebanese cuisine drawing influences from the span of the ancient Silk Road trade routes.
Our warm and generous hospitality drives our mission to make every guest and team member feel genuinely welcomed and fundamentally honored.
We are here to share; to pass fresh pita bread and mezze amongst old friends and new; to celebrate life and its delicious bounty. We invite you to experience our old world hospitality, timeless generosity, and tireless dedication to uncovering and sharing the rich traditions of Lebanon.

Some of the best Lebanese food I’ve had
Incredible food, great ambiance, great drinks (loved the spicy marg)
The best Lebanese food we’ve ever had, in any city. The kibbeh nayyeh was spectacular, the cauliflower was something special, the grape leaves were perfection, and the duck shawarma was unreal. The knafe was nothing short of life changing! The real star of the show was Noah. His enthusiasm for cuisine, informed recommendations, expertise in flavors, and attentive service made him THE BEST server I’ve ever had at any restaurant. His love for what he does really shines through and made our combined birthday/anniversary experience truly exceptional.
Loved it!! Will go back. The food was amazing and Noah’s recommendations were very good. Excellent service also
Delicious food. Great ambiance. Amazing service. We were not sure what to expect and were blown away. Definitely going on our list of great places to eat in the city.
This is my 2nd time coming, and it’s as good, if not better than what I remembered.
Over the top! This place is amazing and Noah was the best server ever!
Food was good and drinks were nice. Service was friendly.
Way too loud. Better acoustics leads to a better dining experience.
Best Lebanese food in the city!
The food was delicious. The service was great! I loved that they offered suggestions about what to order and the amount of food, it was really helpful.
Chris was just amazing. His introduction to everything was detailed. When I come back I’m asking for him !
Food is always outstanding and delicious! The service was amzing. Our waiter Noah was so attentive and made excellent recommendations. Truly best service we’ve had !!
The food was exceptional! And the vibe was energetic!
The mezes followed by a grilled meat
Our waiter was excellent and we never felt rushed!
Ridiculous cauliflower appetizer cost $16.50. Should have gotten a head of cauliflower but we got 3 small pieces. Totally ridiculous.
Food was absolutely delicious! Are waiter was exceptional. I requested a table in the main dining room for my wife’s birthday but got seated in a side room in the corner and no one at the restaurant acknowledged this. No Happy birthday or candle on her desert little disappointing since I requested these things.:(
ilili was wonderful! The service was above and beyond, the food delicious. We can't wait to return.
Waiter very helpful and wine suggestions right on. Lebanese red was full-bodied; very flavorful with everything. Only disappointment was the duck and chicken Shawarma; there was too much chicken this time. Dessert choice was the chocolate and caramel dish; maybe the best in the city for chocolate. I am not a chocolate nut, but this was special! I love this place.
Excellent staff, great good, such a pretty place!
nice place, good food but expensive. the service not so good. they served entrees and the main course all together when they were asked not to. In the middle of the dinner the waitress interrupts the conversation at any moment taking empty places. It looks like they want you to eat and leave very quickly, not very relaxing. If it weren´t for my daughter who loves that place I wouldn´t go again
The service team is incredible! The food and beverage options were superb!
Unfriendly reception staff but superb waiter.Unfortunately he was serving so many tables it took half an hour to get ice from my Arak. Superb grilled meats but a ridiculously limited choice of Meze, just two!
The food was incredible! The pitas were like warm pillows that you dipped into a silky smooth delight, the falafel was warm and moist. The lamb chops were exquisitely cooked. Five stars all the way!
We are a senior couple who has lived in the neighborhood for many years. I was a little intimidated to eat at the 'in place.' Read some reviews about snobby service. IT WAS WONDERFUL!!! Our server was so sweet, he actually customized our order to fit our taste. The food was delicious! The portions were just fine. This will always be our very favorite restaurant, it was really a beautiful memory. The inside space is incredible. We paid for good food and ambience and pleasant music and unbelievable service.
We have been to Ilili several times before covid but this was our first time since covid. We enjoyed the food and the ambiance.
Ilili is an amazing restaurant, great service, the food is delicious and beautiful place to eat in nyc
Service was terrible waiter, didn't know the wines ordered extra bread, didn't come at the end they picked up our glasses before we finished, and the shrimp was overcooked and the duck was dry but had flavour. The food was flavourful but the whole experience wasn’t there with the lack of good service.
The food was outstanding. Every dish was well prepared and a pleasure to experience. Our server Chris was outstanding and explained every dish. He was passionate about the dishes and the enthusiasm was catching.
Everything was wonderful and personable. LOVED our waitress Hania!
Best Lebanese food in the city. Delicious cocktails and our server Mert was amazing .
Amazing food. One of my favorite restaurants in the city!
We had a burned meat and chicken ! They tried to hide with some green on it ! Somebody probably turned that back so they tried to give to us! We didi t turn it back! But it is shame
Food and service are fantastic!
Very good overall, food was excellent and very vibrant place. One thing that could be improved is the table need renovation
Excellent dinner -- chose the grilled dinner for 2, and it was plenty for 3. The garlic sauces were perfect. Service was bit slow, but everyone else was fantastic!
ilili was amazing. The food was outstanding. The staff was attentive. The only complaint was it was a bit noisy. I would definitely go back.
Food and service very good. Noah took good care of us.
